Hi everyone, just got a bfp this morning after over a year of trying, so excited whilst trying to keep calm as I recently had a mc. This will be my second baby, would love to chat to others who have just found out too!! Xxx

Hello all,
Just joining in. Due 4 Feb!
Have a DS 2.5 from an IVF round and now hopefully will have a sibling.
I am now 5w1d and have a scan next week at 6w2d.
Super scary second time around. Just hope this one sticks!
Good luck to everyone.

Has anyone else got an upset tummy?! I've had to run to the loo a few times today and I can literally hear my stomach growling away!!

Celebelly · 05/06/2018 15:06

I think I've gone from being loose to being bunged up!

welshweasel · 05/06/2018 15:33

Pony you sound similar to me! My ivf baby is almost 2.5 and I’m also having a scan at 6+2 next week following a fet. It’s bloody terrifying isn’t it?!

I’ve been testing obsessively but run out of tests now. I’ll get a digital for later in the week as it will be nice to hopefully see 3+. Then it’s just counting down the days to the scan. I feel pretty rough, sore boobs, heartburn, nausea, tired...hoping these are all good signs!

rose7120 · 05/06/2018 16:28

Sadly I'm out. Ive had a small amount of bleeding. After being passed from department to department, my gp came up on with a negative pregnancy test. Even though I had 3 positives at the weekend. Waiting for a blood test, to see why that was.

I hope you all have happy pregnancies x

jeanzbeanz · 05/06/2018 16:34

@rose7120 so sorry for your loss. Hope there's nothing sinister behind it and you get a rainbow baby soon Flowers Enjoy a big glass of bubbly, if you can!

Celebelly · 05/06/2018 16:38

So sorry @rose7120

Look after yourself x

TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong · 05/06/2018 16:56

Oh @rose7120 so sorry to hear this. Take care of yourself Thanks

LookingAtTheStars89 · 05/06/2018 17:31

@rose7120. I'm really sorry Flowers

hayleyfx · 05/06/2018 18:11

@rose7120 I’m so sorry. I know what you’re going through, it’s awful. Take care of yourself and I wish you all the luck for TTC in the future Flowers sending hugs!

rose7120 · 05/06/2018 18:55

Thank you x

smellsofelderberries · 06/06/2018 05:58

I’m so sorry Rose, I hope you have your rainbow soon.

Lily311 · 06/06/2018 08:12

So sorry Rose, take care.

I have horrendous backache and my boobs are really sore. It was similar with DD but obviusly I was 6 years younger. I stood on the scale this morning and I weigh a stone more than with DD at this stage :(. I have a private scan booked for next Thurs eve when I will be 6w6d.

Celebelly · 06/06/2018 08:52

I'm still getting pretty bad back pain intermittently. I've got a pregnancy pillow coming today which I'm hoping will help.

My boobs are sore too. The pain comes and goes a bit. It was really bad yesterday, then I got up for a wee in the middle of the night and they weren't sore, but now they are sore again!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 06/06/2018 09:24

I don't have sore boobs Confused do you think that's a bad sign??

Celebelly · 06/06/2018 09:30

Not at all! I always get sore boobs in 2WW anyway so it's just how progesterone manifests for me. I've not had any sickness or nausea at all, just backache and sore boobs, so I think everyone is different.

LookingAtTheStars89 · 06/06/2018 09:34

@Celebelly. I woke up this morning feeling sick as a dog. My left nipple is a bit tender but certainly not the whole boob lol. I've had a pain of back ache and I have constant - I wouldn't call it tummy cramps but like an odd feeling in my tummy.

starlightmagic · 06/06/2018 09:44

My back hurts, my boobs hurt and I’m so so tired Sad I know I shouldn’t complain but it’s really hard to do anything at work! Any advice?

LookingAtTheStars89 · 06/06/2018 09:54

@starlightmagic I am sat here yawning away. Probably because I'm nit sleeping soundly, more just cat napping. I'm really gassy as well Blush. There's nothing I can suggest to ease off tiredness, maybe a sugary snack to get a bit of a boost, even if it's only temporary.

starlightmagic · 06/06/2018 10:01

I sympathise with gassy 😂 not great is it! My partner won’t allow me to lift a thing, not great when I’ve got 20 odd horses to look after as well as my own! Only have all of them two nights a week but it’s time consuming when I’m not allowed to lift a bucket of water! Are you finding it really hard to think about anything else? Grin

hayleyfx · 06/06/2018 10:01

@LookingAtTheStars89 don’t worry it’s not a bad sign, everyone is different. My boobs aren’t sore but my nipples omg they’re so sore and sensitive it’s unbelievable haha!

Celebelly · 06/06/2018 10:20

I'm so distracted. I work for myself so that's good as I can work from bed if I need to, but it also means I have no one to pick up the slack if I just mooch about (which I've been doing since I found out!) and I only get maternity allowance so I need to buck up and get working and saving!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 06/06/2018 10:26

Is anyone else chilly? I have a t shirt, cardigan and a jumper over the top lol.

@starlightmagic. Yeah I keep thinking about it. Mainly because I lost my last pregnancy so I'm petrified it will happen again!

Celebelly · 06/06/2018 10:31

I'm still terrified of miscarrying. I'm getting real anxiety about it and am still testing. I don't think my ICs will get any darker but I still analyse them and freak myself out. Even though I know it's ultimately out of my control.
