cant ring today, cant go in as DH @ work, no form of transport and no one to take thomas. will ring tomorrow i think, and try not to worry in the mean time. that woman was lovely tho, she sympathised with my BH and said she'd do an internal and if baby engaged could do a sweep. baby wasnt far enough down tho.. couldnt reach but bless her for trying

Natty please ring them, the sooner you get scanned, the sooner you can relax and stop worrying.

Nattie, it could be that the baby has changed position - my bump constantly changes (currently lying across) and I'm actually going down in size. mw isn't worried at all. Surely if it drops further down, the measurement will be less?

Good point - get straight on to them and call so you won't be worrying.

It honestly sounds like she was thorough and doing a good job. Take some positivity from that, if she wasn't worried, then you should try not to be, if that's possible.

Go in the morning, you'll feel better then anyway.

Its my belief that at this stage of events things rarely go wrong, and anything serious would have been picked up by now.

I think you should get Thomas to bed, have a lovely soak and have a chat to your baby. I like a bit of 1:1 time with mine. God knows its going to be chaos when she gets out!

Lol Natty...you're lucky your DH is still interested .....mine started getting a bit squeamish about it all a few weeks ago. that and by the time he comes home on a Friday, I'm too bloody knackered after being on my own all week to do anything except sleep! Think I'll be resorting to the specimen jar and turkey baster!

I know this is nothing in comparison to what has been going on today...but my Mothercare delivery still hasn't arrived. They said it could be anything up to 6pm....but still, it's cutting things a little bit fine.
