Morning everyone,

Just a quick hello and to see if I have missed anything? Hope scan goes ok Natty BTW, fingers crossed for you. Hope you've got your feet up Derlor too. How is Lilkel? Have I missed LO arriving?

Been shopping this morning to finish hospital bag, as I thought I had better be prepared just in case, and now off to get DD, the hospital have phoned to get me to go in again for a liver scan this afternoon to rule out gall stones

Love to all, I'm sorry but just haven't had time to read thread, so hope haven't missed anyone out xxx

annobal · 18/05/2007 12:04

It is very quiet this morning! I guess that everyone is making the most of the sunshine.

Is anyone expecting a girl? I have a gorgeous little petit bateau romper suit in navy - I thought it would suit a boy but it has a frilly collar. Anyone interested?

Also, does anyone know where to get really nice bed linen from (other than the white co?)?

annobal · 18/05/2007 12:05

Hope everything goes okay SFL.

Seansfatlass · 18/05/2007 13:06

Thanks Annobal have you tried John Lewis for bed linen?

sputnik · 18/05/2007 13:23

Hi all, still feeling crap here.
Seansgirl sorry to hear about all your hassle, sounds like you're going to be practically living at the hospital next few days/weeks. It was a good thing they spotted it though and are keeping a close eye on things. Now you have a date too, getting scarily close! Was hoping to sort my hospital bag too this week but just feel dizzy all the time.

Natty hope your scan went ok and you're not still camping out at the hospital.

Catsuitgirl hasn't posted in ages, hope she is just being industrious and everything is ok with her.

sputnik · 18/05/2007 13:30

Seriously nice bed linen on this site
got my sis to give me a duvet cover from this lot for my birthday. sheet and pillowcase may follow at xmas if I play my cards right!

annobal · 18/05/2007 13:45

Poor you Sputnik. Why are you feeling dizzy? Is it low blood pressure? I had a homeopathic remedy for that in first trimester called syc seed (30c strength) - seemed to help me. Love the web site - the baby quilt is gorgeous!!!

muchostinky · 18/05/2007 13:48

Hello Ladies

I am usually a bit of a lurker instead of a poster, but thought I would change that today with a daft question!!

Now I know that it's been on here before but my pregnancy addled brain can't find it - when can I start taking Raspberry Leaf Tea???

Thank you and I promise I will try to start to be part of the conversation from now on.....

muchostinky xx

annobal · 18/05/2007 13:50

Hi Muchostinky, don't lurk, come and join in! Raspberry leaf tea is from 36 weeks. When are you due?

muchostinky · 18/05/2007 13:52

June 10th, so I can start now......yeah!!!

I getting bored of waiting and it's still ages away.

sputnik · 18/05/2007 13:56

(Waves at Muchtoostinky)
Dizzyness is some kind of stomach flu going round at the moment. Had it for over a week now
At least I haven't ended up in hospital like you though!

annobal · 18/05/2007 13:57

Oooh - not that far. Is it your first? I'm not due til July 3rd (but had ds1 at 31 wks and ds2 at 37 wks so expecting mid June sometime). If you don't like the tea, you can take tablets which are a bit more palatable (sp?)

sputnik · 18/05/2007 14:00

Oops, sorry, Muchostinky . My brain is going

annobal · 18/05/2007 14:00

sputnik. If you're into it, try the syc seed as the worst it could do is nothing...

Am currently putting together an order from gossypium - I wanted to get DH something for being such a star over the last few weeks and the t-shirts are just his style. So I don't waste an order, I thought I should also order some yoga trousers and a t-shirt for myself as well . Specifically for all that lounging I will be doing when DS3 arrives

sputnik · 18/05/2007 14:09

I have some of the fold over yoga trousers, I can't praise them enough, they have been my default lounging wear for 3 years, been washed a million times and are still going strong. I am still wearing them now as mat wear too. Also have a baby blanket from DD. The stuff is quite expensive but really good quality.

Not sure what they'd call the syc here, do you know what's in it?

muchostinky · 18/05/2007 14:26

Yeah not too long I suppose...

Just waiting now, went in on Wednesday for an ECV, but the baby had turned all by himself so they didn;t have to do anything. Unfortunatley it feels like he has moved back now so is breech again (ickle bugger!)so I might have to get the ECV next week and possible emergency c-section..

So could be a lot quicker than I am thinking - hmm should stop moaning about it being ages away huh and hope that it is ages away!

Ahh well, the weird thoughts you have when you are pregnant.....never rational. Lol

I like the clothes on that site a lot...in fact am currently lounging in my pj's should really get dressed as it is 2.30!!!

NattyThomasandEllen · 18/05/2007 14:27

hullo

annobal · 18/05/2007 14:28

Sputnik, sorry to mislead you re the homepathic remedy but I spoke to my homeopath who said that the syc seed (think it's sycamore seed) was prescribed for my symptoms and there is no specific homeopathic remedy for dizzyness - sorry . This site is quite good for self-diagnosing.

NattyThomasandEllen · 18/05/2007 14:29

baby gonna be fine is nearly 8 pounds aparently

annobal · 18/05/2007 14:30

Hey Natty, how did you get on this morning?

Sputnik, am definitely getting the yoga trousers - not sure whether to go for the long ones or the short baggy ones (also, what are the sizes like? I'm normally a size 10 but would probably order a 12 for post pg??)

NattyThomasandEllen · 18/05/2007 14:32

hubby is on paternity leave from tomorrow his work have said cos hes been taking so much time off to go into hospital with me he has to take it now. great huh! hes due back on the 4th.

sputnik · 18/05/2007 14:32

How did it go Natty?

hollyandalice · 18/05/2007 14:33

HOORAY FOR NATTY!!! That's fab! All you have to do now is put your feet up and wait for the action to start!!

Sorry you are feeling shitty sputnik, hope your dizziness goes soon!

I am really looking forward to not being pg so I can go to the loo without weeing myself on the way! It's getting very tedious!

NattyThomasandEllen · 18/05/2007 14:35

wasnt waiting long at all. seen by 9.30.. just took ages to scan cos she wouldnt stay still lol.
yeah she weighs like 3500g which is about 7.7lb.. bloody hell nothing is going to fit her. lol

annobal · 18/05/2007 14:35

That's great news re baby. At least DH will be able to help with organising moving stuff and look after Thomas.
