how is your vein Holly? keep that leg up girl

BadZelda · 17/05/2007 18:56

You're so not old holly. At nearly 34 I'm positively crumbly compared to you!

Seansfatlass · 17/05/2007 18:58

Sorry, should have said they are fairly sure its OC, but have to rule out other stuff.

derlor · 17/05/2007 18:59

Hi SG, glad you are OK and being closely watched. hope you stay well enough to last till 8th-15th June. just take it easy and do what you're told!!

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 19:00

LOL BZ...they say the nicest things don't they....

Can I ask what you did that was so bad as get you banned from an internet chat board?

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 19:11

Oh SG, that's really shit! (((HUGS)))

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 19:12

The veiny thing comes and goes. If I go out for a while it comes back and I have to sit with my legs up for a while!

How's the spd today derlor?

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 19:16

Hi SFL.....glad you're OK and that's a good point on the itching. I thought with OC it was really itchy, like unbearably itchy?

It's scary when you have an actual date isn't it?

I got to the PO today so you're tracks will be with you soon. My return address is on the back of the parcel. I sent them registered as I didn't want them going missing after all the effort and it was £6:00 if that's OK with you? Well, its too late if it is't allright really isn't it . They should be with you tomorrow or Saturday so get sewing!

Seansfatlass · 17/05/2007 19:17

How are you Derlor? Hope you are resting too. Seems like its all happening one way or another doesn't it.

derlor · 17/05/2007 19:18

you need to get yourself some lovely support stockings Daisy these seem reasonable look at the price!!!!
i actually feel worse today even though i have been using my FC's and sitting on my ever increasing fat ass!!!! having lots of BH's today though so that might be something to do with it

derlor · 17/05/2007 19:20

where are you and Bumper meeting up Daisy? are you going to wear a pink carnation?

Seansfatlass · 17/05/2007 19:20

Daisy you saviour!!! I love you Thank you so much, thats what I call customer service

The only good thing from today is that DH is a little more focused! LOL! He is still going out on Sunday (but I can't complain as it is a racing day that he has booked - it was a 40th bday pressie.) but now hes not going to Poole next weekend!!!

Right, am going to go and get some food as have not eaten much today.

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 19:21

at the stockings!! I would ladder them within an hour, £85 down the drain!

I farking hate BHs! They are shit! Hope tomorrow is better for you derlor!

derlor · 17/05/2007 19:23

it's not been SO bad holly - our earlier shoe shoping trip cheered me up!!!

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 19:24

Shoe shopping is fab!

derlor · 17/05/2007 19:27

i agree even if it is virtual and purely fantasy at EVER being able to spend $14,000 on boots!!
i did actully see a lovely pair of shoes in river island - much more reasonably priced and definately a contender for "cheer me up crutch shoes"

derlor · 17/05/2007 19:29

Bet posh spice has got those boots

BadZelda · 17/05/2007 19:30

Hmmm don't think I've been getting that many BH's (at least a pint of water seems to cure them pretty quick if I do) but LO has been getting LOADS of hiccups today - what's that about?

BadZelda · 17/05/2007 19:31

Don't be jealous of PS derlor - she strikes me as a deeply unhappy woman. Whereas you have wit and personality ;)

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 19:31

Derlor, my dp has to go and get his bloods done tomorrow and has been told to fast for 16 hours beforehand. Is he allowed to have a cup of tea? Sorry for the nursey question!

derlor · 17/05/2007 19:32

that's a good sign BZ it means that LO's lungs are developing nicely as he/she is practicing for breathing and eating in the outside world

derlor · 17/05/2007 19:34

thanks BZ that's lovely - i'd STILL like the boots though!!!
Holly, is it for cholesterol or fasting blood sugar for diabetes?

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 19:39

I don't know really why they want him to fast. His mum died from an aneurysm in her brain and his aunt has just had an operation to repair one. Well, two of his other aunts have been found to have them too and need operations, so all the family have to be tested. The dr wants him to go for a blood test before doing any other tests. I assume it is for cholesterol, though I'm not sure. Sorry to be so vague! Sorry as well for asking you to put your nursey hat on!!

foxybrown · 17/05/2007 19:41

I've just read everything, but its a blur already!

Daisy, much as I love to blame the Evil Jetix for bad behaviour, I also love to blame DP (especially when he's been away!). Seems to me they want any attention, good or bad. The lo's play games from very early on IME! Alternatively, I can blame friends (Jetix + Friends = not my perfect child!)

SG, am glad they are monitoring you so closely. Not what you need right now, is it? Hope you are OK, and coping with it all.

Where's Natty then?
And Lilkel's been quiet today.

Right, I'm off for a bath.

derlor · 17/05/2007 19:42

Holy don't apologise - i like using my brain occasionally
pretty sure it will be for cholesterol with that family history so NO he can't have a cup of tea - sip of water only - he can stuff his face straight after though
