lol @ virtual friend

dont worry, im sure u wont miss much, was 2 days before labour started last time after lost plug so may well be days yet.. if at all and it wasnt just spitting at me over the uncomortable internal yesterday..

foxybrown · 17/05/2007 14:49

Might not be Natty, she's gotta come out at some point!

NattyThomasandEllen · 17/05/2007 14:49

gross but funny image of my unmentionables spitting at me in disgust

NattyThomasandEllen · 17/05/2007 14:51

yeah but i should be so lucky if its soon, consultant said baby was still high and womb neck was firmly closed yesterday. i think unlikley shame would love to see her, and means that when i go to family bbq at end of month will have someone to show off

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 15:23

Farking hell you lot! I go to the shop and to mw and you start talking like mad! I've just caught up on the posts and now I've forgotten what everyone said!

Seansgirl I hope you are ok and you don't have OC xxx

Aaaarrgghhhh, my poor brain can't remember what anyone else said, off to scan through again!

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 15:37

Foxy...the Magi-staff that we got DS has three different coloured ends on, so if they all got one they could be different power rangers. It's also not that hard so there shouldn't be much damage done if they whack each other with them. My main worry would be them thinking collectively that the baby had been sent by the evil Catastros and trying to vapourise her!!

LOL Natty....your sense of humour and upbeat nature never fails to impress me (it must be all that yoof that you have on your side). Anyone else would be thinking about having to move house with a week old baby and what a nightmare that will be, but you're just thinking "great, she can come to the family B-B-Q".....how do you do it?.....and can you bottle some of your spirit and send it to me

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 15:42

Hi daisy. How are you this fine day?

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 15:50

Where have you been?......did I not speak to you earlier?

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 15:50

Is there anyone else out there without a text buddy who wants one? I have an odd number atm and need more takers!!

Foxy I don't have doggus's number and I don't want to email her and disturb her. I'm sure she'll text you if something happens anyway. Doggus if you are lurking I hope you are keeping well xxx

Natty I'm sure bubs will come soon! She is prob still cooking!!

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 15:52

I can't remember! There have been so many posts today I forget! I have been to mw and everything is well, bubs is head down and wedged in my pelvis, which is good! Had a nasty bout of BHs whilst shopping, was quite embarrassed walking around panting like a dog! People were staring at me, they must have thought I was in labour!

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 15:54

Sorry daisy I did speak to you earlier!! I am convinced I am losing about 50 million brain cells a second!

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 15:55

I had an e-mail from Doggus the other day. She's moved up to her mums now and is busy sorting out MWs hospitals etc etc and said she'll be back with us soon. She's not a million miles away from me so we're hoping to meet up after LOs born to gush over each others angels. She appreciates all the words of support that have been given

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 15:56

Good, I'm glad she's ok.

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 15:57

I know what you mean holly.....I drove down to the PO earlier before picking up DS, then found myself back outside the house........minus DS, as I'd forgotten the school run!!

But you missed all the excitement with Natty!!!

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 16:00

I know, I saw the excitement posts! I am v of people that are due before me! I want my baby!!Can't believe that some on this thread are term already!

Everytime I move my heads brain cells fly out of my ears! That's prob wy my house is so dusty!!

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 16:10

My pram and cot have arrived

now trying to assemble the pram...DH will be mad as he's one of these methodical types who would've wanted to clear the ahllway of boxes forst, but phooey that's what I say. I'm off to out the carry cot bit on and then wheel the baby's teddy bear around the house.

I want a baby to put in it

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 16:13

Oooo, how exciting! Which one did you get? I would be the same, I love building things and putting things together. I always do the putting together of flatpack furniture! I love new prams too! Is it lovely?

sputnik · 17/05/2007 16:18

Holly, I just e-mailed you with my phone number

hollyandalice · 17/05/2007 16:21

Cool, thanks sputnik! I'll start pairing up again this evening when I have a few more names.

ANYONE ELSE NEED A TEXT BUDDY???

Email me your mobile no- my MN name at hotmail.co.uk!!

derlor · 17/05/2007 16:31

Daisy - give us a link to your new stuff - i've shown you all my labour shoes!!!!!

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 16:32

It might be if I can get the carry cot fixed. Thankfully the cavalry (DH) has arrived.....
It's this one but it has a carry cot as well. And I'm well pissed off as now you get the car seat free.....we only got ours for half price [hmph]

derlor · 17/05/2007 16:36

oh Daisy thats lovely i'm well we using the one we got for DD - I WANT A NEW PRAM

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 16:52

Once the carrycot is on it, if you squint at it from afar you could mistake it for a Bugaboo.......but what sold it to us was it's half the price of a Bugaboo. Its red and orange as well....so a bit bright and will clash brilliantly with all that pink, but....it's lovely and it's mine and I WANT MY BABY NOW!!!!!

westcoaster · 17/05/2007 17:01

Flimmin' 'eck - am getting that roundabout feeling again. Nipped out this afternoon and have completely lost the thread again....

SFL - hope all is OK with you - keep us posted.

Not sure who was asking (Daisy?) but here are my stats, if needed. Me 40, DH 38, DD 5, due 12.06.07.

Am determined not to go over - can't stand the waiting anymore. Have done a quick round up of 'natural induction' methods and will be surprising DH very soon with requests to 'get jiggy with it'. Will shock the hell out of him, given that I've barely let him near me since bump's conception....

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 17:12

My DH is the same westcoaster....he's been a bit squeamish about it for a few weeks as bub doesn't half wriggle afterwards!!
