oohhh i like them but have to admit i am even more impressed bu the lack of fluff on your floor - how do you do that????

derlor · 17/05/2007 13:19

by NOT bu - dduuuhhhh

BadZelda · 17/05/2007 13:20

Fluff? Don't get that for some reason. Do get big balls of tumbleweed AKA catfur though. Maybe cos it's not laminate? (no, I didn't pay for wooden floors: flat came that way. They're really nice though!)

Seansfatlass · 17/05/2007 13:21

Just a quick one to say that I phoned the delivery suite this morning with a vaguely itchy foot this morning. Well ended up having blood test. They have just phoned to say that my levels are raised to 55, anything above 14 is abnormal. Am going back to hospital this afternoon for more tests and to monitor baby. MW who rang said to expect that I will probably be having baby early as they think that I probably have Obestric choleatis? No idea how to spell that but Ithink you will get the general gist. xxx

derlor · 17/05/2007 13:21

well we must just be a really fluffy family then

LittleMissPositive · 17/05/2007 13:21

I just wanted to come in and say good luck to all of you in the next couple of months, and beyond.

I have a 10 month old DD and she is the most wonderful gift I have ever received. She is sat here right now yelling with Kiwi fruit all over her face.

I hope you are all as happy as I am!

GOOD LUCK!

mytwocents · 17/05/2007 13:22

Ouch derlor!!

I'm definitely not qualified to section anyone!!

foxybrown · 17/05/2007 13:23

SFL - isn't that what Nannyjo had?

What is it exactly?

BadZelda · 17/05/2007 13:24

Ouch SG that's scary! Fingers and toes crossed that everything's alright - will be thinking of you,
zx

foxybrown · 17/05/2007 13:25

Her SIL who dropped in yesterday said she was induced early due to OC. Is that what you have?

derlor · 17/05/2007 13:26

SFL - nightmare, you might 2nd then??? take care and keep in touch - we'll be thinking of you xx
mytwocents -
hi (waves) littlemisspositive -nice of you to drop in thenks for words of encouragement - we're needing them as we are all just a tad grumpy at the mo x

foxybrown · 17/05/2007 13:27

Yes, sorry Littlemisspositive, wasn't ignoring your lovely sentiments, just distracted by SFL! It was lovely of you.

God knows I'm going to need all the luck I can get!

mytwocents · 17/05/2007 13:32

SFL that sounds serious, hope ur getting enough info and care....my friend had the choleastis itchy thingy and was induced at 37 weeks - v quick labour though so fingers crossed for you.

Thanks little miss positive

I've decided only to listen to positive birth stories from now on, a colleague told me last week that giving birth to her son was like the best, most intense orgasm ever!!
.....something to look forward to!

derlor · 17/05/2007 13:33

obstetric cholitis

mytwocents · 17/05/2007 13:35

I think choleastis (spelling??) is a harmful liver condition, could poison your blood...?

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 13:35

Ouch SFL....that doesn't sound too good, but at least they've caught it and can do something about it. From what Nannyjo said they were monitoring her very carefully and would induce as soon as levels got to dangerous proportions, so you may have some time with us yet.

Thinking of you this afternoon

derlor · 17/05/2007 13:37

"the best, most intense orgasm ever!!" is she for real??????

mytwocents · 17/05/2007 13:38

Well done derlor!

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 13:38

And thanks Littlemisspositive for your cheery words.....we need some positivity around here this week as we're all slowly falling to bits (some of us quite literally) in one way or another!

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 13:39

If my orgasms were ever that painful I'd be having serious words with my GP....WTF?

derlor · 17/05/2007 13:40

why, is it your GP that gives you them???????????????

Twiga · 17/05/2007 13:40

SFL - sorry to hear about the OC - glad they caught it early though.

BZ - I think the shoes are lovely, like the colour!

mytwocents · 17/05/2007 13:40

Yes apparently so, she said she was enjoying the rush of the contractions and was distracted from the pain by how mind blowing the whole sensation/experience was...
Whe she held her baby her husband said to her 'that was the best orgasm ever was'nt it?'

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 13:42

PMSL Derlor......we're not that close, she and I

BZ...love the shoes...I had some similar to that when I was 14 though, except in grey.....but don't let that put you off!!

mytwocents · 17/05/2007 13:42

Perhaps she's really into pain...

BTW, I've not had any braxton hicky things yet....am I weird? Not due 'till 28th
