Thanks @Goldilocks I appreciate it x

Pampl3m0usse · 09/05/2018 10:50

@orangekitkat13 I'm so sorry; I hope you can manage a gentle few days and, in time, will have the strength to try again. xxx

News here is that I'm still bleeding. Alot. Since I already had a significant amount of bleeding when I had my scans last week, and they were attributing that to cervical erosion, all should be OK but it is still very disheartening. The consultant at the hospital has said that (assuming it is cervical erosion) there's nothing that they can do to stop it but that they'll give me weekly reassurance scans. I'm oscillating wildly between being a complete nervous wreck (i.e. if it's all over I'd like it over and done with so I can try again not ten days of solid bleeding) and being sort of OK. Being totally unreasonable towards DH and insisted he cancel the School trip he was due on this evening as I didn't want to be sat bleeding on my own with our three small children (now feel very guilty). Anyway tomorrow I have the "joy" of an anxiety inducing scan on my birthday. Sorry that all sounds very me, me, me :( I've no-one in RL I can really talk to.

@balalala I saw your lovely scan picture, it must have been such a relief. I hope you're able to start enjoying your pregnancy (as much as that's ever possible!)>

@Roomarmoset I'd second the advice to just log everything.

xxx

Roomarmoset · 09/05/2018 10:55

I'm sorry @Pampl3m0usse at least you have us ladies to sound off to, I find it really helps!
I'm glad the hospital are keeping an eye on you, I know weekly scans are nerve wracking but at least you have some reassurance.
I think we're allowed to be unreasonable with DH's at the moment, they'll understand! xx

@eggoisnowpreggo yes the fb group is active now and there are around 40 of us on there! Pm me a link to your fb if you would like me to add you.

So sorry to hear your news orangekat Flowers

Pamplemousse - how worrying for you. Sounds like the hospital are doing a good job of keeping an eye on you though. Hope the bleeding stops soon

natashaarr · 09/05/2018 12:19

@december2018 I know it is law, I said that and she said it’s her last week at her job and she can’t take anytime off in her last week and doesn’t have anyone to have the little girl (I’m a nanny). That’s good about aqua-natal classes, I didn’t know that was included I just thought you were only allowed appointments like scans and midwifes off work!

@roomarmoset oh my goodness that is so rude!!!! I definitely agree with everyone else you work with, I’d be reporting someone like that it’s disgusting behaviour :(

Maggi85 · 09/05/2018 15:08

This is off the UK Gov Website:

Pregnant employees' rights

Pregnant employees have 4 main legal rights:
•paid time off for antenatal care
•maternity leave
•maternity pay or maternity allowance
•protection against unfair treatment, discrimination or dismissal

‘Antenatal care’ isn’t just medical appointments - it can also include antenatal or parenting classes if they’ve been recommended by a doctor or midwife.

Employers can’t change a pregnant employee’s contract terms and conditions without agreement - if they do they are in breach of contract.

Employers must give pregnant employees time off for antenatal care and pay their normal rate for this time off. The father or pregnant woman’s partner has the right to unpaid time off work to go to 2 antenatal appointments.

@Roomarmoset happy to throw pee sticks at your boss if you think that'll help ;)

Cleozeta · 09/05/2018 15:10

Hi all, I'm freaking out and just wondered if anyone else has experienced this - I'm 10 weeks today and just had some pink spotting followed closely by ewcm. Have called the midwife and waiting for a call back but just wondered if anyone else has had this? Never had anything like it in previous pregnancies so really worried

yellowmellw · 09/05/2018 15:24

@Cleozeta I'm the same at the minute I have my dating scan tomorrow but I've had spotting this weeks and red blood when wiping cm. I'm waiting till my scan tomorrow anyways because there's nothing they can do if something is wrong so hopefully tomorrow goes ok. But google says spotting is normal

Cleozeta · 09/05/2018 15:36

Thanks yellow, hope all goes well tomorrow. I have a scan next Friday when I get my harmony test, but it's a long wait! I have just noticed that my boobs don't seem sore any more either.

Mamababynumber2 · 09/05/2018 18:05

Have u had sex recently? I had pink spotting after sex and that is what my gp and midwife put it down to. I had some red spotting yesterday and I'm wondering if it could be from having ex the day before but have a scan tomorrow to check

Cleozeta · 09/05/2018 18:10

No not had sex, been avoiding that until 2nd trimester. So no idea what caused it.
Good luck with your scan

emwithme · 09/05/2018 20:41

My bean has turned into a baby! By my dates I'm 9+6, measured this evening at 10+2. It has arms and legs and a nose and - most importantly - a lovely strong heartbeat. The pic is a bit blurry because it just wouldn't keep still (got ants in its pants just like mummy!) but I'm thrilled and relieved. This is the most pregnant I've ever successfully been before

GoldilocksTheGraceless · 09/05/2018 20:57

Gorgeous!!!!! Congratulations @emwithme xxx

Yukka · 09/05/2018 22:28

@cleozeta I'm 9w4d and just had the same this evening, very light brown followed by more than normal ecwm. Nothing when I wipe. But I'm feeling some tugging weird pain, hard to call it pain really and not like period pain or previous mc's so I think it's just growth x

Cleozeta · 09/05/2018 22:48

Interesting yukka, glad I am not alone with this! Hopefully it is just normal things going on at this stage. I'll let you know what midwife says tomorrow

December2018 · 10/05/2018 07:23

I'm 9w today and I had some pink spotting last night and a horrible pressure when I'm having a wee... is this normal?
Mainly only in the morning I get that strange pressure feeling

Cleozeta · 10/05/2018 09:23

I spoke to the midwife this morning and she said to not worry unless it is red with cramps. Just after I put the phone down, I went to the loo and had more spotting, brown this time with brown ewcm. I think it might be game over for me Sad

Paranormalbouquet · 10/05/2018 09:29

Had some red bleeding yesterday. Was too anxious and stressed to post here! My GP referred me to a different EPU as I had such a horrible experience in the last one. They’ve been amazing, scanned me just before 9am. Had basically accepted it was another miscarriage but there’s a healthy little heartbeat, measuring bang on dates from last scan. Subchorionic haematoma so will probably continue to bleed which is going to continue to stress me out but happy for now.

EDD 25/12/2018. (Although I suspect my elcs will not be booked for Xmas day!).

Paranormalbouquet · 10/05/2018 09:30

@Cleozeta I’ve had brown spotting since 5 weeks. And some red. It’s not always bad news. I really hope all is ol.

Cleozeta · 10/05/2018 10:18

Thanks paranormal.
I've just spoken to epu who were not very helpful. Just told me to monitor it and take paracetamol if I get cramps.

Paranormalbouquet · 10/05/2018 10:25

I’m sorry they weren’t more helpful. I gather brown bleeding is really common when placenta forms so it could be that? Early pregnancy is horrible isn’t it- between nausea, fatigue and constant anxiety. I have such envy for people who don’t find out until they are 16 weeks etc. Imagine skipping the whole first trimester!

Cleozeta · 10/05/2018 10:48

That would be amazing. This first section really is awful. I love 2nd & 3rd, but this 1st part truly is the worst. I thought I was almost through it when I got to 10 weeks too.

yellowmellw · 10/05/2018 10:57

Just went for my dating scan and the baby had stopped growing at 8+4 feel so guilty for some reason

Paranormalbouquet · 10/05/2018 11:13

Oh yellowmellw I’m so sorry, missed miscarriages are horrible. It’s so cruel, especially after a previous good scan. You have no reason to feel guilty, although I had similar with mine so totally understand.
