Pop that's precisely how I'm feeling too.

Pampl3m0usse · 03/05/2018 05:46

more and heavier bleeding here last night. so disheartening and epu / gynea told me they won't see me again unless I have "clots the size of my fist" :(. they were pretty slapdash yesterday morning I think (I'd waited overthree hours and it was very much "heartbeat there, job done".

PopTheRainbowdrops · 03/05/2018 05:59

pample sending massive hugs and sticky wished for you xx

Paranormalbouquet · 03/05/2018 06:59

@Pampl3m0usse did they find a cause for the bleeding?

orangekitkat13 · 03/05/2018 08:51

@Pampl3m0usse hang in there, a heart beat is a really good sign.

GoldilocksTheGraceless · 03/05/2018 09:43

Oh gosh @Pampl3m0usse that's so scary! The prize for tact certainly doesn't go to whoever said that to you 🙊 great that you heart a heartbeat though so hold on in there!

I just got my booking in for 25th May when I'll be 9+5. Feels so late to be seeing someone for the first time but hey ho. Good old waiting game for me now!

MamaBerg · 03/05/2018 10:26

That's crap what she said to you, could have been a bit more tactful!!

@goldilocks, Found my maternity notes from my first pg last night and apparently my booking was at 9+1. If I wasn't on holiday this time and managed to get them to give me an earlier 'emergency' appointment booking was booked for 10+1!!

GoldilocksTheGraceless · 03/05/2018 10:46

Thanks so much @MamaBerg that does make me feel better! I mostly hear of people booking it at 8w so was a bit worried before!

Wanttomakemincepies · 03/05/2018 11:04

My booking is 31st May and I will be 11+4. No date yet for my dating scan yet though.

MamaBerg · 03/05/2018 11:04

As long as they see you in time to get your dating scan in before 13+6 so they can do the nuchal fold measurement its fine!

Its easy to stress out especially in a first pregnancy but really that's not going to do you or baby any good so just relax!

MrsTeaPlease · 03/05/2018 14:46

Hi all, I'm struggling with the nausea a lot this week and being super tired. I have to stay over in London for a few nights next week for work and I'm so worried that I'm just going to be on the verge of vomming the whole time. Could be embarrassing! I had my booking appointment on Monday and got my scan date through this week too for the 31st May. Feels like ages away still though! Keeping my fingers crossed for all those having trouble and bleeding.
What week has everyone found to be the worst for sickness? I'm 8+4 today and this week has definately been worse, hoping it doesn't keep getting worse!

MagicalCreatures · 03/05/2018 16:15

Can anyone put my mind at rest.
I’ve been having some light brown discharge for a few days and today there were some small stringy light brown bits.
If I remember correctly, I had the same with my last pregnancy which resulted in miscarriage.
And now, typically, I’ve just fallen down the stairs at my sisters. She doesn’t know I’m pregnant so I can’t even worry about it.
I didn’t tumble, my foot slipped and I continued to fall down about 3 stairs.
I fell back, though not onto my bum, and caught myself by holding onto the bannisters on both sides of the stairs.
I’ve totally pulled my arms and my chest and I’m worried I’ve stained my abdomen and pelvis area from where I was trying to stop myself from falling completely.

@MagicalCreatures babe go get yourself checked. I'm sure it's fine and you're just a bit bruised. I've have brown spotting up until a couple days ago. But never stringy bits. Best to be safe than sorry!

MagicalCreatures · 03/05/2018 16:35

@Cakelaur I’ve got a private scan booked for Monday. Do I just wait til then. X

lrwe · 03/05/2018 17:08

@MagicalCreatures I've had the same browny stuff for the past few days - and from memory had the same with my first two pregnancies (who are now sleeping next to each other having a "sleepover")

I have a scan booked on Saturday so I'm holding out til then but I'm holding my breath every time I go the loo.

Not much help but big hugs. If you're worried can you go get checked?

Mamababynumber2 · 03/05/2018 17:34

Give your gp a ring before they close and ask to be referred for a scan xx

Stephisaur · 03/05/2018 17:49

@magicalcreatures I got my maternity pack from the MW today and it says ANY bleeding/unusual discharge before 17 weeks and you should trot off to A&E. I know different trusts do things different ways, but I’ve been to A&E for less before now! Best to get seen to rather than wait it out I think xx

Happy32 · 03/05/2018 18:05

Reading through all the comments! Hope everyone is feeling ok and not too bad. @poptherainbowdrops, I have absolutely nothing so booked in for private scan next week. I think from talking to previous pregnant friends that we can bleed and spot a little during our first trimester. Could it be something to do with the fact we're not having periods and some things still need to be shed? I'm definitely not an expert and I haven't a clue what I'm doing or what to expect either lol

Cakelaur · 03/05/2018 19:06

I would call Epu and see what they say. If you can't get in to them. If it were me I'd probably head to a&e. Otherwise the weekend is gonna drag!! But if the spotting has stopped that will calm you anyway.

Pampl3m0usse · 03/05/2018 19:18

so today was the pits. heavy bleeding and clotting on the day I buried my gran and my mums ashes (she committed suicide on December ) so looks like I've lost the baby that was due on her anniversary. good luck ladies.

Happy32 · 03/05/2018 19:30

I'm so so sorry to hear that. Sending you love and prayers.

Stephisaur · 03/05/2018 19:32

@pampl3m0usse I’m so sorry 💐

December2018 · 03/05/2018 19:33

That's so sad hunni sending you all my love xxx

PopTheRainbowdrops · 03/05/2018 20:13

I'm so sorry sweet xxx

Rachie1986 · 03/05/2018 20:13

I'm so sorry pample. It might not be the worst.. will epu see you again if it's worse?

I'm 9w, had a scan and a worry at 8w but things seemed ok, another reassurance scan at 11w plus 12w scan after that.
Some nausea, not been sick yet. Was occasionally sick with 1st pregnancy 5y ago.

Hope everyone is ok x
