@applesauce1 I'm due on 13th Dec too! Snap!

December2018 · 04/05/2018 21:32

Me too 😘😁

balalalala · 04/05/2018 21:37

@pample such good news! So pleased for you

raysan1 · 04/05/2018 23:34

Who has had their booking in appointment with midwives? It's just the mama, right, no daddy required? Mine said it will take 1.5 hours but am used to that after so many fertility appointments!

balalalala · 05/05/2018 06:03

No daddy needed, but my dh wanted to come as he wants to be as involved and supportive as possible! My appointment took about an hour but we had lots of debate around which hospital this time due to my experience last time!

December2018 · 05/05/2018 06:21

Yeah I've got mine on Tuesday... a bit nervous
I know exactly how you feel about the fertility appointments we were going for 7 years and got told we needed IVF.... obviously wrong!
Cancelling my appointment 2 weeks ago was the best feeling ever 😁

Paranormalbouquet · 05/05/2018 07:43

I’m on a serious panic. All my symptoms have disappeared and my heart rate on my Fitbit is dropping. Even through I know symptoms mean very little the heart rate dropping is scaring me, given my history.

Rachie1986 · 05/05/2018 08:05

Hi paranormal, I don't know your history but I think symptoms can come and go as your body adjusts to the hormones before they rise again. Also depending what's developing in the pregnancy - how many weeks are you?

GoldilocksTheGraceless · 05/05/2018 08:39

Morning all 🤗

@Paranormalbouquet that would make me nervous too but I'm sure it's all absolutely fine. Is there any chance at all that you're feeling a bit calmer hence BP going down?!

For anyone who is struggling with morning sickness, I've just discovered (after a full week of horrific nausea) that cold grapes or cold watermelon will soothe my nausea and give me just a bit of solids rather than just sipping water all day. Might be worth a try for some of you? X

Stephisaur · 05/05/2018 09:20

Currently sat in Starbucks having scoffed a cinnamon swirl and a pain au chocolat. Guess my appetite is back this morning 😂 absolutely shattered though, so think I’ll have to indulge in a nap later 😂

Paranormalbouquet · 05/05/2018 09:23

I’ve had 3 miscarriages since last summer (5 weeks, 5 weeks, mmc at 9 weeks). Should be 7 weeks Monday I think. Had a scan last weekend after some bleeding and everything looked tiny but fine. But now I’m obviously panicking again. Don’t think I’ll relax even after a scan tbh.

applesauce1 · 05/05/2018 09:39

I appear to have developed hay fever for the first time in my life. Anyone know if I can take antihistamines?

JustCallMeTheOven · 05/05/2018 09:50

@Pampl3m0usse so pleased for you I had the same with DD and she's a healthy 5 yo now!

@December2018 the nosebleeds are normal and I'm also a bit pumpy haha

I had my booking apt yesterday, took ages and it's all online now, so no need to carry paper notes around any more I felt well old hearing that haha. She gave me access to my notes too, all very modern!

My nose is completely blocked just now, like the kind of blocked that I'd get the Otrivine out for, I hate this stuffy ness as it gives me
Headaches too! Guess I'll be getting the olbas oil tissues out x

DoAsDreamersDo · 05/05/2018 10:04

Paranormal I’d been tracking my rhr on my Fitbit too and noticed it shooting up when I was first pregnant (it was one of my first signs because it always dropped right before AF). A couple of weeks ago it started to drop and I panicked a little bit, but then I figured that maybe it was my body just getting used to it. It’s gone up again a bit since (and down again too) so I don’t worry about it anymore. I also noticed my other symptoms coming and going but this can be normal too. I can totally understand why you are worried though due to your previous experience but just thought I’d share what happened to me x

emwithme · 05/05/2018 10:28

Can someone hand me a grip.

Obviously the reason I'm not throwing my guts up today is because the medication the doctor has prescribed is working, not because everything has Gone Wrong. And logically, I know that. Emotionally...nah. Just nah. Does. Not. Compute.

balalalala · 05/05/2018 11:13

Had my scan this morning! 9+6! It actually looks like a baby!

orangekitkat13 · 05/05/2018 11:17

@balalalala 😍 that's wonderful to see, it does look like a baby!

@emwithme perfectly understandable but as you asked for it..... get a grip 😜

applesauce1 · 05/05/2018 11:20

@balalalala oh my goodness what a beautiful scan! Well done for growing such a beautiful baby, clever mummy.

Cakelaur · 05/05/2018 11:26

@emwithme here's a grip.... and breathe!! Defo the meds working!!!
@balalalala that is the most perfect little teeny tiny baby I've ever seen!! And after all that worry it's given you!!! So pleased for you!

GoldilocksTheGraceless · 05/05/2018 11:34

@emwithme I hope there's some sun where you are - see if heading outside to enjoy the weather without wanting to hurl is enough to distract you from the worry. Like you say, rationally you know it's fine, emotionally you will do well with some sunshine and fresh air! Thinking of you x

@balalalala way to make a woman cry! Absolutely stunning scan, congratulations x

@Cakelaur glad to see you up and posting while on holiday! Hope it's amazing!! X

balalalala · 05/05/2018 11:42

Aw thanks guys! I really thought it was all over 2 weeks ago!

December2018 · 05/05/2018 11:55

Such a beautiful tiny human 💙💜 xxx

Eggoisnowpreggo · 05/05/2018 12:00

Is anyone else just feeling rubbish today? I’m now 5+5 weeks and morning sickness has hit. I’m not being sick yet but everything is making me feel worse. I think DP is struggling to understand as there’s nothing visible from the outside 😞

0lgaDaPolga · 05/05/2018 12:30

@pamplemousse I am so happy for you that all is ok!

I’m not feeling so sick today which I’m taking as a positive. My husband has taken my son out for the day too so I can get on with stuff around the house.

I’ve got my scan on Thursday at 10+3. NHS have me down as about 13 weeks at that point as my dates are weird (long cycles after coming off pill) anyone else have theirs soon?

If anyone that hasn’t joined the Facebook group and wants to just drop me a pm with a link to your page and I will add you. It’s a secret group so no one will see you are in it or what you post unless they are a member too

0lgaDaPolga · 05/05/2018 12:31

Ahhh lovely scan photo @balalala
