Was sitting at home being lazy so thought I’d start a new thread for ya’ll.

Hi @facepainter26 I am also pregnant with my 1st 6 weeks today! I had my booking in this week and nothing really happened....told me not to eat soft cheese etc and to take it easy. Gave me a pack to fill in before proper first appointment at 10 weeks....asked if I had any health complications and weighed me! Its took less than 5 mins lol! Bit of an anti climaxing....will be quietly panicking with the next 4 to 6 weeks prior to scan!!!

@December2018 yup. Extra blood supply. Nose bleeds are common. Don't panic.

Ohh thank goodness for that I genuinely thought something terrible was wrong with me 😂😂

@firsttimemama84 that’s good to know, I’ll look forward to my private scan on Thursday then. At least then it will be a chance to see the baby’s heartbeat, fingers crossed everything is okay.

@facepainter26 Ooh your having a private scan how exciting do let us know how it goes. The other thing they say at the booking in appointment is to take folic acid.....so i got the pregnacare vitamins. Good luck

I've spent too much of today knicker checking as I'm now the same date as I was when I started spotting and went on to mc. So much so I've put myself into a grump as I know it's ridiculous.

@december2018 Im taking the same ones I have found them OK no nausea but I did read somewhere someone else had that experience and switched to just folic acid maybe something to check at your appointment x

I’m 6 weeks today with my second. Currently have a DD who is 2, 3 in August. So far I’ve been ok but knackered and nauseous. Been sick a couple of times.

I’ve got my booking in appointment at 10 weeks. I’m sure it was earlier with my first but who knows. I also had an amazing community midwife last time and it wasn’t her that left me a voicemail. Must keep an open mind but I’m quite gutted. Hopefully it’s the hormones doing that though. As it seems a bit of an over reaction

So glad to hear that pample!!!! @december18, I was the same until I started taking them in the morning right after breakfast and have no problems now 😊 just going on down the days next week til the private scan. Couldn't wait til booking in scan lol

Had my booking appointment today. Was longer than I thought- nearly an hour.
Apparently, because I had abnormal cells and CIN3 on my last smear, and needed the LLETZ treatment (tiny vegetable peeler the scrape the badness from my poor cervix), I'll need an extra scan to check my cervix length. It's possible that I'll need a stitch up there to hold the baby up. Sounds pleasant.

Still no symptoms so at 8+1, I'm hoping I've escaped morning sickness.
Other, terrible symptoms include boobs that are too tender for speed bumps, and absolutely terrible bum gas. Please tell me I'm not the only one with this issue?

Yessss I have terrible bum burps today... even the poor dog looks shocked .... bless him
I also feel massive today I've put on 6lbs...that's a LOT xx

@December2018 oh thank god! My husband is repelled by the smell of them! Yeah, I wrote "gas" but then felt that I should clarify where the gas is coming from, for some reason! They are definitely worse than my dog's. Is there any science to go along with this symptom? Is my digestion fucked for a few weeks? Will it last the whole pregnancy?

I've put on a lot of weight already too. A combination of ravenous hunger and consequential snacking, being off a medication that previously slightly suppressed appetite (so I only ate 3 meals a day with no snacking, and being too exhausted to exercise. I keep telling myself that I'll do that yoga DVD later, but I never do. Help me!

@December2018 he's so handsome! He looks like he'd love and respect you no matter how your bum smells. Aren't dogs the best?

I think it's got something to do with a slower digestive system or something... I have eaten quite a bit of fruit today tho so that's maybe the reason I stink to high heaven!! 😂

Got so uncomfortable in my bra (only got it last week) that I've whipped it off at the station toilets because it was hurting so much.

Feel so much better now 😁

@applesauce1 I’m glad you said about the speed bumps. Thought my boobs were going to fall off earlier they hurt so much in the car 😭

@Facepainter26 hi. I’m 6+1 today too. Due the 27th Dec. Got a private scan booked for Monday and booking in appt on Thursday.

I check my boobs every few hours too. I just give em a prod and then when I feel that they’re still tender, I regret poking them.
I just can’t stop burping (from the top end) I had a lemonade today and I swear the room shook when one came out.

@applesauce1 bum gas 😂 you digestion slows right down in pregnancy. Which produces more gas.

@Mamababynumber2 I stopped wearing bras the first time i got bfp in December!! Even when I lost the baby I still didn't put them back on! Wore one tonight (to go out for dinner on holiday) and it was horrendous!! Haha don't care who can see my now giant nips!! (Annoyingly one now bigger than the other!!) 😂

Luckily I'm not too gassy. But boy am I crampy and stretchy!! It doesn't hurt but I'd certainly like to hope that bub is growing nicely and making space!! So nervous about my second scan in one week!!!

My nausea had been increasing this week.. and with DD with chicken pox (she's 4) and the worry last week its been an interesting time! But I have some non-alcoholic gin so there's a positive :-)
