I really hope it’s ok December. I’ve had lots of bleeding this pregnancy and baby has been fine on all my scans so far. If the scan is ok ask them to look at your cervix- I had an ectropion with my DD and it used to cause very dramatic bleeds.

CherryO88 · 05/06/2018 13:06

Hi ladies. Nice to see everyone is doing well and near the end of first trimester!
I had acupuncture yesterday to help with my nausea and vomiting. I was fully convinced it would cure me. Been sick 4 times today and the nausea is crippling me. Mentally I feel like I’ve broken today. This lasted the whole 9 months with DD and I just can’t do it again. DH is away with work until Friday night and DD has her first ever cough and is miserable. I just want to curl up and disappear Sad

Thinking of you @December2018 I hope bub is ok!! So scary!!! Let us know!! Xx

Gemsie1984 · 05/06/2018 14:46

Everything crossed for you @December2018 x

xLeanne128 · 05/06/2018 15:46

How are you @december2018? Been thinking of you xxx

December2018 · 05/06/2018 16:01

Hey girls! All good news bean was wiggling about being all cute on my scan... the midwife said sometimes at 12 weeks ish when the placenta takes over it can cause a bit of disruption and cause cramping and bleeding, just have to take it easy, drink lots of fluids and try not to stress..... phewwwwwwww! Sigh of relief!

xLeanne128 · 05/06/2018 16:02

Yay fantastic news xx

Gemsie1984 · 05/06/2018 16:10

Yay! @December2018 that's fantastic news! Same thing happened to me around that time, was told by the sonographer at my 12 week scan that the placenta taking over was the likely cause too. :)

MrsTeaPlease · 05/06/2018 17:32

Is anyone else suffering with dodgy guts (!) In this pregnancy?! Anything nice to eat, or slightly rich I can't as it ends up with awful stomach cramps and hanging out in the toilet!! (Sorry if Tmi!!) If it's not that then it's stomach pain from trapped wind! I never had this at all with my son, so I'm a bit like what the hell is going on in there?! Anyone else in the same boat, or is my body just being rubbish!?

MrsTeaPlease · 05/06/2018 17:33

Glad all is ok @december2018 I bet you are so relieved. Here's me moaning about my guts without even reading what a scary day you've had! Sorry!

Paranormalbouquet · 05/06/2018 17:37

@december2018 congratulations on the scan, what a relief!

@MrsTeaPlease my bowels are all over the place right now. Although probably more down to surgery and antibiotics! I had terrible diarrhoea when pregnant with DD though, seems common in place of vomiting for some people.

MrsTeaPlease · 05/06/2018 18:00

@paranormalbouquet Aw poor you, I hope it eases up soon :(
I still haven't vomited this pregnancy so maybe you are right and this is what I am getting instead! I'm 13 weeks now so hoped it would be easing off but it seems to be getting worse!

xLeanne128 · 05/06/2018 20:04

Anybody else bloated above the belly button?! I feel like my belly is bigger but all over not just a bump. Looks awful and is spongy to touch where as under belly button is hard. Very bizzare. Maybe I'm just putting on weight haha I'm a size 6/8 so it's not fat or anything.. x

0lgaDaPolga · 05/06/2018 20:05

Oh my gosh how scary @december2018 I’m so glad everything is ok. What a relief. I had a small amount of bleeding in my first pregnancy around the time the placenta was attaching and it was nerve wracking. Hope all goes smoothly for you from now on.

charlybs · 05/06/2018 20:19

Hi everyone! Joining a bit late as there was some confusion around my dates - due 28th Dec and having a planned section at 39 weeks so now firmly in the December crew :)

Had a scan the other week and bub even did a wiggle which was cute. Can't wait for it to look a bit less like a random blob.

Really suffering with exhaustion and hayfever but trying to stay active.

@ameliaclem I've started going swimming once a week as it seems to make me feel better - as does yoga for the aches! I told my class teacher I was preggo and she didn't mind me staying. Some are a little funny about joining before 12 weeks (just to be on the safe side) but a good time to start looking if you're interested. Preggo yoga was awesome, I went right up to the end.

MagicalCreatures · 06/06/2018 07:52

Great news @December2018 what a relief!! Baby giving you grief already!!! It's not even here yet!!

Scan day today!! Kind of excited since I found the heartbeat on the Doppler!! 4pm is waaaay too far away!!

DoAsDreamersDo · 06/06/2018 09:33

Ah December what a relief for you x

I'm feeling super dizzy today. Had to hang onto railings on my way into work! I think I read somewhere that it's due to an increase in blood or something like that, but it's pretty annoying.

December2018 · 06/06/2018 14:18

Ohhh good luck on scans today! It's so exiting!!!
I got this yesterday for my precious little bean scan....
... also the dizziness is awful! 😖😖

All safe and sound. With a little persuasion bub moved for us. It was genuinely the most amazing sight!! Best day of my life. Official due date is 17th December

Soooooo cute!!!!! 😍😍😍
It's so amazing seeing them wiggle & move isn't it, feels more real when you can see it and you have evidence 😊

Paranormalbouquet · 06/06/2018 14:53

Congratulations Cake! When I had my scan for harmony last week the baby was flying about, could hardly get a decent picture because of it! Fingers crossed it’s all good again on Friday.

I’m much better today, managed a gentle walk. Very pleased.

Mamababynumber2 · 06/06/2018 15:23

Gorgeous scan pics! My baby didn't want to move much when we had our scan. It was just chilling 😄

MagicalCreatures · 06/06/2018 16:03

December absolute perfection!!!!
@Cakelaur yours too. Just amazing. How perfect those little bubbas are.
Also Cakelaur why is your other thread saying ‘thread closed’ the Christmas babies one x
