@Usernamechecksout yeh that’s right. I get that too. If I’ve been sitting for a while and I stand up quickly, my god it hurts. I did think thats definitely gotta be ligaments.

I still have no date for my scan. Booking appt 31st and I will be 12+4 for that. The letter did say there would be no scan at the appointment and another appointment sent for scan. So far nothing.

0lgaDaPolga · 20/05/2018 10:48

I have the slight pain when sneezing too. It’s quite alarming when it first happens isn’t it?! I’ve got my scan on Wednesday. I went 2 weeks ago as my dates are weird due to long cycles but the baby was too small to do the nuchal translucency test. Can’t wait to see it again and finally be able to tell people. Has anyone else not told friends or family yet?

balalalala · 20/05/2018 13:09

We've told all close friends and family this time as I'm so big already we couldn't hide it! My boss knows but no one else at work does yet.

December2018 · 20/05/2018 15:27

All my close friends & family know I just couldn't hold it in I just had to tell everybody haha x
My mum has even been telling all the neighbours 😂
I feel better too because I know I've got the support if anything goes wrong

Happysbno4 · 20/05/2018 17:51

Hi all,
my private scan at today 9 weeks wasn't as we hoped for. No heartbeat.

Guess I knew deep down something was up. Now waiting for EPU to call me.
But I know it is unlikely to have a different outcome.

In all likelihood My little bean wasn't ment to be and stoped growing last week.

Please don't let this stress or give you anxiety I knew I had been too well during this pregnancy...sometimes we have to accept things are not right. I'm trying not to question too much not blame myself.

We will try again but never forget our Christmas bean.... love blessongs and best wishes to you all Xxx

December2018 · 20/05/2018 18:22

happysbno4 I'm so sorry to hear your sad news 💐💐
Big hugs xx

Happy32 · 20/05/2018 18:31

I'm so sorry! There aren't any words that can make you feel better. I'm sending you love an wishes. Xxx

I'm not feeling hopeful myself just now. After having that bleed the other day, my boobs don't feel tender and having a decrease in discharge so I don't know what any of it means. I'll know what's happening at scan tomorrow. I hope the rest of you ladies are feeling ok!!!!!!

Kit17 · 20/05/2018 18:53

@Cakelaur omg, I hadn't thought of it like that! I am too!! Shock

@Happysbno4 so sorry..

5UNG · 21/05/2018 07:27

Morning girls, just discovered this thread.

Happysbno4 I’m sorry to hear of your MMC, I experienced one in December so I know how you must be feeling Sad sending lots of love and remember it’s not your fault.. xx

I’m 11 weeks 2 days and feel like my symptoms have disappeared for the past few days and need some reassurance!! Confused. Had a stomach bug for 7 weeks which I seem to be finally recovering from but I’m paranoid this is going to be another MMC?! Scans not for another 11 days!! X

Paranormalbouquet · 21/05/2018 08:00

@Happysbno4 I’m sorry to hear that. I hope things happen as fast as possible for you.

@5UNG I remember with DD all my symptoms started disappearing around 11 weeks, think it’s the placenta starting to take over.

I’ve had a rough few days with waves of nausea and dizziness. I have a few good hours and then I’m suddenly hit by it again. Anyone else having dizzy spells?

5UNG · 21/05/2018 08:03

@Paranormalbouquet thanks for the reassurance hopefully it is and all runs smoothly with this pregnancy! Can’t help but worry regardless of whether you’ve had a loss or not and Google is most certainly your enemy when trying to settle nerves! Strange isn’t it we complain about symptoms when present but wish they were back when they’re gone!

I’ve had a couple of short dizzy spells but just find it when I’ve stood up too quick. Xx

ND348 · 21/05/2018 08:12

@Happysbno4 so sorry for your loss. Look after yourself xxx

applesauce1 · 21/05/2018 08:14

@Happysbno4 I'm so sorry and sad to read your post. I hope you have lots of love and support around you

I'm feeling quite low today. Yesterday, I was at my parents' house, and my mum persuaded me to weigh myself. I don't have scales at home because I used to have an eating disorder triggered by and centred around numbers. I know that usually I am between 9st 7 and 9st 10. I got on the scales and I'm 10st 6. How can I have put on nearly a stone and only be 10+4?! I knew I'd gained weight because I look fatter and my clothes are tight. I know I shouldn't gain any weight until at least 12 weeks.
I know I need to get used to looking bigger as that is inevitable, and I will love having a baby bump, but this is just fat. Because I'm eating more.
I need to join a gym I think.

Paranormalbouquet · 21/05/2018 08:44

@applesauce1 I’m a good bit heavier to start with than you are but I will say with DD I gained 5kg in first trimester due to constant hunger, 3kg in second and nothing in 3rd. Not everyone follows a typical pattern. Try not to worry.

This time I’m a good bit heavier than usual after a lot of miserable comfort eating through 3 miscarriages but trying my best to eat well and hoping I have same pattern as before with less weight gain later on.

Stephisaur · 21/05/2018 08:53

@applesauce1 I think a lot of smaller people gain weight in the first tri. It sounds like you're usually quite light, so I wouldn't worry unless your midwife seems concerned.

If you're bloated/constipated/both then some of the weight gain will be from that.

My SIL went up a whole dress size by the time she was 10 weeks (from a 10 to a 12) which caused her a great deal of dismay.

Gemsie1984 · 21/05/2018 09:12

As hard as it is, try not to worry. I'm sure your BMI is perfectly healthy still. I have a high BMI, although I've lost a lot so far in this pregnancy, it's STILL way higher than it should be. I'm trying to eat sensibly and walk more etc in the hope I can keep weight gain to a minimum. Pregnancy will be a trigger for you due to the body changes, but the end reward is amazing. Also there's tonnes of PN health classes new mums can join when the time comes if you're still feeling a bit low. Be kind to yourself Mummy.. you're growing a tiny person! Thanks

Mamababynumber2 · 21/05/2018 11:15

applesauce don't worry about gaining weight. I reckon my boobs currently weigh abour a stone each!!
I've gained weight this trimester and I'm 10+4. My boobs are massive and my belly has turned into a small bump and I'm blaming it on growing a human and you should too :D

GoldilocksTheGraceless · 21/05/2018 11:32

Hey @applesauce1 🙂 firstly congratulations on overcoming your eating disorder and getting to this stage. I appreciate that it might not always feel like it but it's bloody impressive. Secondly, scales in one house are always different than scales in another house so the accuracy is always just a little bit questionable. Thirdly, your clothes will be feeling different because of fluid storage which is building up now around your middle, all meant to protect baby.
Your body is doing the good and healthy thing and you are becoming the most perfect little home for this tiny wriggling baby!
Keep on speaking up about your concerns as they come up - we're all here to support you, and suffering in silence doesn't have to happen 🤗

In other news - does anyone else have bleeding gums? Bit gross but kind of alarming this morning!!! We get free dental on the nhs now so I'm going to book in as soon as I hit the second trimester (I don't think I can sit long enough without nausea taking over right now).

Paranormalbouquet · 21/05/2018 12:15

Not had bleeding gums but have wisdom tooth which keeps threatening to cause issues. Had bad infection just after mmc in March- ended up with swollen face and unable to open mouth. At around 5 weeks it started throbbing a bit but managed to avert issues with copious amounts of corsodyl mouthwash. 9weeks now and brushing is hard enough; definitely don’t think I could cope with corsodyl!
