@usernamechecksout we’re they ok doing the nuchal fold at 10+6? I have my scan tomorrow & i know I’m only 10+5 not 11+4 as my LMP suggests. Everywhere I’ve looked online says the Nuchal scan cannot be measured before 11 weeks.

PopTheRainbowdrops · 10/05/2018 20:52

Sorry for everyone with bad news 😪

My nausea is mostly gone, but my appetite hasn't returned yet. I am now getting issues hiding my bump at work, I feel huge 😂

0lgaDaPolga · 10/05/2018 20:58

I’m so sorry to hear your news pamplemousse and yellow. Take care of yourselves Flowers

I had my scan today and all was fine. Measured 10+4 which is what I expected. Too small for nuchal measurements so going back in 2 weeks

Usernamechecksout · 10/05/2018 22:15

@Bora8 I’m not sure! I thought it was quite early as well. I guess if I wasn’t doing the harmony test they would have referred me to the midwife anyway and waited for the 12 week scan measurements.

Paranormalbouquet · 10/05/2018 22:36

@Bora8 if you are too early they’ll arrange for you to come back and have it repeated.

Paranormalbouquet · 10/05/2018 22:37

Nausea set in again this evening. Really really bad. Have been lying down for hours but can’t sleep. Just sipping cold water to try and settle it. It vanishes for days and then hits in again for a short while. Very strange.

Buenavista · 11/05/2018 07:33

Had a load more pink spotting last night, and still there tiny bit this morning, and feel crampy, though I have the whole time, it’s just it feels bad now. The fear has hugely set in. Some of you have had this and then had good scans right?

Paranormalbouquet · 11/05/2018 07:36

@Buenavista I’ve had constant spotting interspersed with red bleeding at times. Scan yesterday showed strong heartbeat and subchorionic haematoma which is probably the source of the bleeding.

Can you call your GP/EPU?

Cakelaur · 11/05/2018 07:45

Scan at 9.30am!! Never been so scared in my life!!! Never made it past this point!!! 🤢

Roomarmoset · 11/05/2018 08:06

Good luck @cakelaur

I had an early scan 6+6 yesterday, I was absolutely petrified but everything was fine, saw a flicker of the heartbeat and got a picture of a nice little blob Smile

I'm sure everything will be fine, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you xx

MamaBerg · 11/05/2018 08:34

fingers crossed @Cakelaur

balalalala · 11/05/2018 09:03

@buenavista I had red blood a few weeks ago, but scan showed all fine. Fingers crossed all is OK for you too.

@cakelaur what a wondeful photo and such a lovely post.....my symptoms (nausea and diohrhea) seem to have eased a bit the last few days although have been replaced by a continuous feeling of hunger which is somewhat reassuring.....its so scary though I needed some positive news. For financial reasons im waiting it out until 12 week scan unless Im very very worried....would appreciate hearing from anyone else whos symptoms have fluctuated and changed early in first trimester....Im just at 7 weeks today x

balalalala · 11/05/2018 10:46

@cakelaur horray! So so pleased for you! What a lovely thing to see just before the weekend!

Mamababynumber2 · 11/05/2018 10:56

Awwww lovely scan photo @cakelaur . Very happy news:)

December2018 · 11/05/2018 11:13

Yayyy!! Beautiful little bean!! It's just amazing isn't it xx
I have to wait until my 12 week scan on the 1st.. 3 weeks today I'm so exited/terrified all at the same time

Cakelaur · 11/05/2018 11:19

Thanks ladies!!! Relieved is an understatement! Still sinking in!

@Firsttimemama84 my symptoms were on and off at 7 weeks. Then at 8 weeks on the dot I was throwing up all day every day! Nausea has eased a little today, but the smell of my puppy still makes me 🤢 so that's comforting! (Poor puppy) haha.

@December2018 I have to get to 12 weeks now! I'm gonna really try and not book a 10 weeks scan. But who knows. EPU is happy and doesn't need to see me again unless there's an issue.

Firsttimemama84 · 11/05/2018 11:22

Thats really reassuring thanks cakelaur.....I dont even have my 12 week scan date yet....but then Im not 12 weeks until 15th!!! It feels like so long doesnt it!!

MamaBerg · 11/05/2018 11:43

So after having an appointment booked through the midwives for Reflexology to help my SPD which was then cancelled because its too early Sad I have now spoken to the specialist midwife that does it and she doesn't treat women before week 24, definitely not before the anomaly scan, because of risks to baby Shock. I've seen lots of private people will do it after the 1st trimester and some say at 'any stage' of pregnancy so I'm gutted I can't have it sooner NHS. I'm in pain. She said I will just have to go to the GP for painkillers until then. Its bloody August til my appointments Sad
I've got BUPA cover so I'm going to see if I can see maybe an osteopath or acupuncturist in the mean time Confused

MagicalCreatures · 11/05/2018 12:14

@Cakelaur YES!!!! That’s fantastic news. And it’s looks like a proper little human. You must be so relieved x x x

@Firsttimemama84 15th May?? I'd call them. Cos they have to do the nuchal scan before 13+6. So I'd call them.

Cakelaur · 11/05/2018 12:49

@MagicalCreatures it's the best day of my life!! 🌈 relieved is an understatement! I'm mind blown!
