I've been offline a bit.. to those ladies who've suffered recent losses.. I'm so so sorry. Be kind to yourselves Flowers and to those that have had better news, congratulations..

I went for my rescan yesterday.. two weeks ago I was measuring behind at 6+4, when I should've been 7+6.. well it's GOOD news! Baby still has a heartbeat and has, in fact caught up on dates by 3 days. I'm now 9+2 with a wiggly baby who likes to be upside down.. symptoms have eased considerably..

balalalala · 11/05/2018 13:55

That's fantastic news @gemsie1984 you must be so relieved!

Gemsie1984 · 11/05/2018 14:34

Thanks @balalalala - saw lots of women getting bad news yesterday so I went in expecting the worst, especially when the sonographer was quiet for a while.. but no baby was there wiggling their arms and legs about..

Cleozeta · 11/05/2018 14:51

Congrats on the good scans!
Unfortunately I have had a missed miscarriage. Baby stopped growing just after I saw heartbeat at 6+4
Just waiting to properly miscarry now.
Good luck with all the lovely December babies x

Gemsie1984 · 11/05/2018 15:17

@Cleozeta sorry for your loss, the waiting must be very hard. Be kind to yourself Thanks

Yukka · 11/05/2018 17:34

So sorry @cleozeta it's so traumatic, wish it was easier. Try to Focus on recovery xx

Have passed a small clot this afternoon with on/off pain. I don't think it's good news for me either but I'll have to wait for scan on Monday, or a proper bleed this weekend on our first wedding anniversary ....whichever comes first. A glass of wine wouldn't go amiss right now! Xx

Buenavista · 11/05/2018 18:04

I’m so sorry Cleozeta, that’s really hard especially after seeing a heartbeat. Yukka it sucks doesn’t it, I’m similarly waiting to see but fearing the worst.

Paranormalbouquet · 11/05/2018 18:14

@Cleozeta I’m so sorry, it’s so hard and so unfair. I hope things happen quickly, waiting is very hard.

@Yukka and @Buenavista I hope things work out for you.

Nausea has been bad here. Had a few hours respite around lunchtime and was starving. Note to everyone beetroot in reverse is not good! Feel I’m constantly nibbling on crackers etc, will be the size of a house in no time.

Cleozeta · 11/05/2018 18:43

Yukka and buenavista - good luck with your scans, fingers crossed for good outcomes. It's so scary, especially when you have had bleeding.

Yukka I agree with the wine comment! Could so use a glass right now.

Am still waiting for things to kick off, I had some bleeding with clots and a bit of cramping this morning so I thought it was starting, but it's all stopped now. I just want it done.

shewolfmum · 11/05/2018 22:53

Awwww....sending sticky vibes mummas. Sorry to hear about the wait to bleed for some. Google spleen 6. It is a wonderful acu point for downward motion and will help bring this on for you (other ladies don't touch it!!) Wishing you all the best.

MagicalCreatures · 11/05/2018 23:19

@Cleozeta I am so so sorry Hun. There really are no words anymore.
The amount of women that have suffered through this is getting unreal. Life is so cruel.
I hope you all find some peace and have loved ones to look after you.
You are not going through this alone.
To all those with scan soon, all I can say is I’m keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you ❤️

@Cleozeta I'm so so so sorry!! Sending massive hugs! Hopefully the process of miscarrying is short and over quickly so you can start to heal.

Cakelaur · 12/05/2018 07:34

@Gemsie1984 congrats babe!! Mine did this same. Naughty little beans!! Scaring their mamas already!!!

Yukka · 12/05/2018 09:25

Morning ladies, has anyone suffered from really really bad trapped wind yet? I was in agony last night with really bad pain the was coming and going. Has I'm having a bleed I thought 'ok, this really is the beginning of the end'. After a bit I could feel movement in my abdomen and here air sounds so I had peppermint extract in water, 2 paracetamol and low and behold it went. Hasn't come back. Is it possible for to cause such bad pain?

I'm still having a little bleed but so far it's not getting worse.
Xx

Bora8 · 12/05/2018 09:56

@yukka I’ve had trapped wind since week 5 & im 11 weeks now. Some nights I’ve been doubled over & crying in absolute agony! The only thing that eliviates mine is peppermint tea, I have 2 cups throughout the day & that seems to keep it at bay. If I forget to have one then by early evening I can’t even stand or move for the pain. My midwife said it’s only likely to get worse as well, great!

MrsStealthgoat · 12/05/2018 11:05

Hi all,
Pretty sure I’m due December, think I’m about 10 or 11 weeks but as I’ve not had a period since stopping depo injection last June, it’s hard to guess! Going on symptoms I’m 10 weeks 😉 Just waiting to hear from midwife and get a dating scan done ASAP, it’ll feel more real to me once I have a date and a picture!
Only problems so far are boobs that feel like been used as punch bags, and period type pains as well as round ligament pain. Coping though, when nearly 3 year old allows rest anyway lol

Happy32 · 12/05/2018 14:38

9 weeks! Due 15th December. I'm so sorry to all the ladies who are going through a really hard time expected or not. Hoping you find comfort in loved ones and strength in being strong and amazing ladies. 💕💕

Thanks @bora8 that's helpful...sent dh to shop for peppermint tea :) x

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 12/05/2018 15:50

@Yukka, my trapped wind has been awful since week 4, now 6+4. I was doubled over in pain with wind I couldn't shift. Hubs did some research and apparently now pregnant, I can't digest pasta or cheese :( although initially sad to have to cut it out of my diet, I no longer have awful pain which is amazing. Clever hubs! :)

Cally80 · 12/05/2018 17:13

Hello all
Sorry I’ve not been on for ages and it’s really sad that so many have suffered losses or have had bleeds and are waiting for answers.
I’m 9+4 and it’s such a scary time.

Along with the exhaustion and nausea I too have had bleeds.
I had brown spotting from 3-5 weeks but an early scan at 6 weeks showed a tiny heartbeat.
Then on Thursday this week I had a large bright red bleed. Terrified.
It’s such a terrifying thing to happen and I feel for everyone whose had the same issues.
I rang the EPU but they can’t do I scan until early next week - so I managed to get a private scan yesterday, it shows a subchorionic haematoma. Amazingly and much to my surprise the baby is happy and measuring a bit bigger than my dates.
The sonography said that the haematoma won’t affect the baby but I could continue to bleed.
I still find this terrifying. Whilst I’m glad baby is happy and they have found a source for the bleed - I’d rather not have the haematoma.
It scares me that I could bleed again.
Has anyone else had this?
Did it get worse? Did you rest up or continue as normal? And more importantly did the pregnancy have a successful outcome?

Paranormalbouquet · 12/05/2018 17:21

@Cally80 I’ve had the same. Spotting on and off, red bleeding last Wednesday. Scan on Thursday showed healthy heartbeat and a large subchorionic haematoma. Having had 3 miscarriages in a row before this pregnancy I’m a nervous wreck with all this! I’m a bit behind you, 7+5, and just really hoping it’s 4th time lucky.

Gemsie1984 · 12/05/2018 17:44

@Cally80 I had a haematoma during my second pregnancy.. started bleeding heavily at 6 weeks. I was in South America at the time and couldn't get a scan until just gone 7 weeks. Assumed a MC would be confirmed however the baby was fine with a strong heartbeat. There was still evidence of a haematoma and I was advised that I had a 'threatened miscarriage' as the haematoma was very large and I might continue to bleed. I was given progesterone suppositories to try and maintain the pregnancy. I came back to the UK at 9 weeks, bled again at 10 weeks, again bright red blood! I was worried but hoped it was the haematoma and indeed it was and another scan confirmed baby was okay. Luckily by my 13 week scan the haematoma had reabsorbed and my son was born healthy and fine, 6 days late!

Cally80 · 12/05/2018 20:41

Glad to hear others have had similar experiences- although it would be better if we didn’t have to deal with these things.
I’m frightened to look every time I go to the loo incase there’s blood staring back at me Sad
Good luck to everyone else xxx it’s such a nervous time - fingers crossed we all get through it!

MagicalCreatures · 12/05/2018 21:45

Hey girls.
So, for the first time so far in this pregnancy, I’m suffering with a bit of constipation.
I know It sounds ridiculous but I’m scared to push too hard for obvious reasons.
So can anyone recommend some natural remedies or safe medications or even some fibre bars that don’t taste like shite that can help me x

I have the same Magical, which is odd as I usually have the opposite problem when pregnant. It makes the nausea worse too I think, I certainly feel better when it improves.

I’ve just been drinking more water and eating oranges which seems to help.
