Feeling mega fed up - posted a couple of weeks back my partner ended our relationship, we were engaged and baby planned - he is now with some one else - i am being as understanding as I can as he is an amazing dad to his son and will be supportive of me and baby and want to try and be friends - I am just really hurting today -
Will be 3 weeks on tues xx

TheUbercornMum · 06/05/2018 23:18

@marchblossom I've messaged you, no problem!

@singlemommabear that sounds so very tough. FWIW I'd be feeling just the same as you. Do you have support from friends and family? Can you let them take care of you for a bit? Big hugs.

LastNightsMakeUp · 07/05/2018 05:53

@Singlemommabear You are doing so well and it's totally ok and very very normal to be hurting. Such a massive shock and change for you. I don't think I could even consider trying to be friends with him in your shoes, especially so soon after he's made such a U turn on all that you'd planned together. Just try to put yourself first, if he's going to be a good dad that's great but you and your baby are number one and don't put his feelings and needs before your own xx

@TheUbercornMum can you send me the fb group info too please?

TheUbercornMum · 07/05/2018 08:57

@LastNightsMakeUp np, I sent you a message.

MeredithShepherd · 07/05/2018 11:03

I felt baby move last night properly for the first time! It’s only been flutters so far, but I was laid on my stomach in bed last night and I felt it roll! It was weird but amazing! Not felt it since though!

Saraswati · 07/05/2018 12:33

@singlemommabear I'm so sorry tgat is really tough, please allow yourself to be sad and angry it's perfectly natural! I know how you feel and I wanted to murder him in various ways (Still do Grin)

More brown gunk for me but just taking it easy and keeping an eye on It, no pain and no red so trying not to panic. Still feeling flutters so think this baby is just trying to terrify me.

We told dp parents yesterday, his mum cried they were so Happy! This is their first grandchild and they were so surprised it was lovely.

CVB1990 · 07/05/2018 12:58

Saraswati · 07/05/2018 15:16

Can I join the group on fb too?

TinyPawz · 07/05/2018 16:14

I have managed to get through the last 11 weeks with relatively little sickness but I feel funky as hell today. 🤮🤢

Magpie24 · 07/05/2018 16:19

Feeling good at 13+6 except for on and off headaches and big appetite.

Went for a swim this morning, first proper exercise for six weeks or so!

Anyone else suffering from headaches? Think they're hormonal but could also be the heat. Am trying to avoid medication but am using 4head which is a kind of menthol-like topical treatment, plus a cold flannel, but it's not hitting the spot.

MeredithShepherd · 07/05/2018 17:25

@Magpie24 yes I have a headache nearly everyday. I tend to leave them for an hour or so and if it doesn’t pass I take paracetamol. I suffer from migraines so if I don’t catch it and take paracetamol in time it just gets worse for me. I figure paracetamol is safe in pregnancy so it won’t harm baby.

Can I join the fb group too?

Melaniesunflower · 07/05/2018 19:08

I'd like to join the fb group too.....

LastNightsMakeUp · 07/05/2018 19:27

@Magpie24 @MeredithShepherd I have migraines too and in this pregnancy have found that heat rather than cold helps. I've had to go to bed with a very hot, hot water bottle on my head a few times but seems to help and actually manage some sleep. Worth a try x

Amarettoplease · 07/05/2018 20:08

Please can I join the FB group too?

intelligentPutty · 07/05/2018 20:51

Stopped using fb about 3 months ago. Will there be anyone left on here?
Struggled to tell any family over the weekend. So didn't!
We are 12 weeks now. And people scan is this coming Friday.

Anyone else just feeling really fat rather than pregnant. It's our second but I didn't think it would show quite this quick!!

TinyPawz · 07/05/2018 23:16

I'm still here. Might end up being only a few of us here

dontquit · 07/05/2018 23:21

I'm still here too. 15 weeks tomorrow! Getting a few headaches especially on the days I haven't drank enough. Trying to up my intake of water and avoid taking anything. Wore 1st maternity top today. Just look frumpy in my normal clothes now.

sarahhh1984 · 08/05/2018 06:13

I'm still here too. Not used FB for about four years so will be remaining on Mumsnet.

CatSneeze · 08/05/2018 06:37

I’m still here, I have a fb account but don’t use it.

I’ve been getting headaches too. I drink and drink water all day and then i’m up all night weeing and wake up with a dry mouth and a headache. It finally feels as though the sickness is beginning to subside at 13+3 so that’s fantastic.

Hengine · 08/05/2018 08:41

Hello,
I’m new to the thread, been lurking for a bit!
I’ve got my booking app this week then scan next week.
I was wondering what medical history questions they ask about?
My husband isn’t coming so I need to find out the relavent info before I go.
Can anyone help?

Laurisi · 08/05/2018 09:12

I’m still here aswell.
Welcome @Hengine they will ask medical history stuff for you both and immediate family it’s like heat disease, bp, mental health, diabetes it’s almost like the type of questions you get on a life insurance declaration. Smile

olderthanyouthink · 08/05/2018 09:16

Thanks so much :) that’s ace

GiveMummyTheWhizzer · 08/05/2018 10:28

@intelligentPutty - me!!! I feel like a big giant fat blob that ate too much cake. Wouldn't mind I haven't even eaten any cake because of the nausea!

I don't like this stage. It's like people are looking at me thinking "is it cake or a baby...." Confused

My skin is still awful too. Particularly my chin and my chest. Never had skin like this and it's really depressing. Absolute credit to anyone that suffers and deals with bad skin as this is horrid.
