I have recently found out I am pregnant and I believe baby would be due 6th January 2019. I know it is such early days, but are there any other Mums-to-be out there who have just discovered they are pregnant and who will be due next year? Sounds crazy saying that!...

I’m 7+4 Ash 🙋🏻‍♀️

gemsparkle84 · 03/06/2018 20:18

@Ash1992 I'm 7 + 1

Kocerhan3 · 03/06/2018 20:21

I'm 6+3 (snap @polkadotjersey!!) and with basically no symptoms :S. My breasts are sore and I'm tired but I've not a touch of sickness, nothing. I feel a little cheated if I'm honest lol I don't feel pregnant, we booked in an early scan for the 13th where I'll be well in to my 7th week so hopefully that'll make it feel more "real"

Ash1992 · 03/06/2018 20:41

@Frenchiemamax aww your one day infront of me . I had a scan today and could see and hear the heartbeat it was amazing

Frenchiemamax · 03/06/2018 20:43

Ash1992 oh wow isn’t it amazing, makes all the sickness and sore boobs worth it! Lol xx

Ash1992 · 03/06/2018 21:01

@Frenchiemamax it really does I think it is really hard the first few weeks :(

WeeBump89 · 03/06/2018 21:17

I'm 6 weeks today and all I want to do is sleep :( by 5pm I got whiny and just wanted to cry from exhaustion.

For the cramping has anyone noticed it starting just after you have been to wee? Assuming it's because uterus has more room to stretch/grow with bladder out way?

Ash1992 · 03/06/2018 21:52

I feel sick constantly this last week:(

MrsS1984 · 03/06/2018 21:55

I'm 7+2! Have been feeling terribly sick the last week or so, it's like the worst hangover ever but without the fun bit first Grin It makes me concerned this might still last another two weeks or so! I'm going for an early scan on Thursday as have had two miscarriages in the last year, am trying to stay calm and see the nausea as a big positive as didn't have it at all with the other two. Such a nervous time for us all though!

FuckMyUterus · 03/06/2018 22:05

Evening ladies... Am 6+5 today and sickness has well and truly hit the last couple of nights. Didn't have proper sickness with any of my failed pregnancies so getting my hopes up quite a lot!
Also suffering from intensely painful nipples.
How is everyone else this evening?

kitcatdog · 03/06/2018 23:18

Hi, I'm 7+6 and today has been the worst for sickness. To top it off the only food I want is eggs and I'm vegan so there's no chance. The thought of anything else makes me want to throw. :/ Typical.

Ash1992 · 04/06/2018 07:27

Are you actually being sick or just feeling sick. I'm not vomiting

stegosauruslady · 04/06/2018 07:43

I'm 8 weeks now, sickness is super horrible, it has been getting worse for the last fortnight, but I've had it since about 4+3! I'm hoping that I wake up in four weeks time with it magically gone Grin

I also have grim hayfever, which is not making my giant to do list for today look any more appealing!

kitcatdog · 04/06/2018 08:31

I'm full vomiting now. I've had nausea since 5wks, dry heaving last week and now ive moved on to full vom 🤢.

loopdeelou · 04/06/2018 09:28

Sorry to see so many people are feeling awful. I'm 9+1 now and am so thankful that the worst part of the nausea seems to have passed. The last couple of days I've been feeling much better. Hope that gives some hope to those of you that are 7ish weeks as that's when I felt by far the worst.

I had my early scan yesterday at 9 weeks 😍. It was amazing to see the heartbeat and have confirmation that all is ok and the little bean is the right size. We told my family last night and my Mum is over the moon. Never seen her so happy! Was quite surprised!

@loopdeelou did you have vomiting or just nausea I'm 8 weeks on Thursday hopefully I'm feel the nausea ease off next week it's so horrible. Did you take anything for it Congratulations for you seeing heartbeat I had a scan yesterday and it was amazing. Not much to see on screen as so tiny but hearing was nice.

loopdeelou · 04/06/2018 12:16

@Ash1992 no I didn't actually throw up but the nausea was awful. I felt dizzy and lightheaded and struggled to function. I was almost willing myself to be sick in the hope I'd feel better. It was awful. Hopefully it'll start to improve for you soon.

My nausea has stepped up a notch today. I’m 8+4
Feeling so poorly. I’ve cried down the phone to my poor boss 😩
Back in bed hoping to sleep it off

stegosauruslady · 04/06/2018 12:18

Apparently, week 8/9 is the peak of pregnancy hormones so hopefully we will all be feeling better soon! I'm dragging myself through my to do list at the moment, spacing it out with breaks for MN and de-caff coffee.

I'm thinking about getting a private scan at about 25 weeks so I can take the DDs (we have three!) as they are super mega excited about their new sibling. They really want a brother!

LG93 · 04/06/2018 12:36

Had to call in sick today and vomiting so much yesterday and this morning. Have just managed to keep a bag of monster munch down so hopefully that's a good sign. Got doctors tomorrow to start referral etc so will see if they can do anything else about the sickness as my tablets run out tonight anyway

TheNewDelia · 04/06/2018 13:30

Like @loopdelou I'm 9 + 1 and do feel like the nausea has gone down a notch (although it's still there all day!). I was exhausted all weekend.

I took a couple of days off last week and slept the whole time, I have to say I've been really surprised how terrible I've felt, I clearly haven't spoken to enough pregnant people to find out the truth before! I hope you are all coping ok and looking forward to an easier few months.

Pyxie · 04/06/2018 13:38

Hope you're all feeling better soon. I'm 9+4 and starting to feel a bit better. Still got insomnia though which seems especially unfair when combined with the exhaustion!

Nice to see a fellow vegan @kitcatdog!

isambardo · 04/06/2018 14:17

I’m hoping the nausea subsides soon, I’m 8+5 now and I recall with dc1 it vanished around week 9. It’s much worse this time though, I’ve felt really incapacitated the last few weeks! I barely managed to eat yesterday.

I’ve got my booking appointment on Friday and I can’t wait to get my scan date, been itching to pay for a scan but I’ve resisted so far.

WeeBump89 · 04/06/2018 14:29

Last night was definitely worst by far for sleeping. Up to pee all the friggen time! First too hot so took PJs off and then woke up freezing and had to wrap back up :( today I'm just exhausted again.

Kate0706 · 04/06/2018 16:21

Hi everyone :)
I am 9+1 with my first due 6/1/19.
Unplanned baby but nevertheless we are over the moon. I am feeling incredibly emotional and really quite scared at the moment. I’ve also been feeling really sick but the last two days the sickness has disappeared so I’m really hoping it doesn’t return!
