I have recently found out I am pregnant and I believe baby would be due 6th January 2019. I know it is such early days, but are there any other Mums-to-be out there who have just discovered they are pregnant and who will be due next year? Sounds crazy saying that!...

Is anyone looking weight in first trimester I seem to be losing it I'm not eating much due to feeling sick but am still eating all my meals just in a smaller portion so maybe this is why.

I am Ash1992 although I was losing weight before I found out I was pregnant. It's not coming off as quick as before but in still looking weight now

My weight was just completely stable for the first few weeks. I seem to have gained 1kg in the past week, though Hmm

I feel like I have lost weight and the midwife mentioned something about having more regular growth scans if my bmi is low

Urgh making hubby's toast this morning the smell of the brown bread Confused toasting Confused plus the smell of the coffee Confused plus the thought of it now Confused urgh not feeling good this morning...

@gemssparkle84 I know how you feel I can barely keep much down hoping to see midwife next week so maybe she could give me something. It also doesn't help when there is damp and water rising in the cellar at work making me feel even more sick!!! My boss doesn't do anything about it other than a candle to put on to reduce the smell. I'm sure this is health and safety in the workplace right

Hello all.

Checking in after a crappy 48 hours. Ended up been admitted for hydration as my sickness got so bad I couldn’t keep fluids down didn’t realise how grim I actually felt till I was rehydrated. Even managed a few bites of some supper! Got a new medication regime so we shall see how I get on 😊

Yeh that's no good @Ash1992 no wonder you feel sick plus the smell of the candle won't probably help!

@gemsparkle84 yes your right the smell of the candle is making the damp smell worse. Got a busy day today too I work in a hairdressers gets really hot in there . And have to run up and down lots of stairs everyday too:-( not told any work colegues yet

I also have a scan today. 9 weeks. I've had consistent on/off pain since week 5. They initially thought it was my bladder but as my urine samples keep coming back clear they are scanning just to check everything okay.

I'm so nervous! It's at 11. Thinking of everyone else having scans today too. Xx

gemsparkle i'm 7 weeks today, had a little bit of bleeding and some mild shooting pains in my lower stomach so absolutely terrified at the moment. Sad

Just got back from the hospital, thankfully everything is ok, baby is measuring 6+5 (i'm 7 wks so close enough) and saw the heartbeat which was amazing. Really hoping everyone else having a scan has the same outcome xx

Jellyfish it was absolutely amazing, would defo recommend booking an early scan if you can, theres nothing like seeing the little heart flickering away on the screen. Thank you for your kind words xx
