I have recently found out I am pregnant and I believe baby would be due 6th January 2019. I know it is such early days, but are there any other Mums-to-be out there who have just discovered they are pregnant and who will be due next year? Sounds crazy saying that!...

sorry to hear that @babybjan - sending lots of hope and love and hope you can find some answers soon.

Very envious of the symptomless. I have had to take another day off today, just exhausted and so sick. First born decided to be a pickle and was up at 2am crying for who knows why for ages despite cuddles and then the cat was yowling to be let out at 5! Give me strength haha.

Husband is back for the weekend tonight so looking forward to some respite. We have a wedding to go to Monday so hoping that will be a fun day.

TwittleBee · 18/05/2018 21:16

Well looks like I'm out too... 2nd cycle in a row this has happened. Sad can't imagine this much blood is a good sign. Least it's only a CP this early on I guess Sad

sexnotgender · 18/05/2018 21:50

So sorry twittlebee.

BabyBjan · 18/05/2018 22:08

Sorry to hear @TwittleBee Sad sending love and hugs to you

What do you mean by CP?

I am suspecting my uterus lining is too thin.

Frenchiemamax · 18/05/2018 22:42

So sorry twittlebee ❤️

TwittleBee · 19/05/2018 05:31

stegosauruslady · 19/05/2018 09:32

babybjan and twittlebee I'm so sorry to hear your news.

How is everyone feeling today?

LG93 · 19/05/2018 10:22

@babybjan @twittlebee sorry to hear your sad news Flowers

Was sick again last night. Really worrying about the fact I'm eating so badly - surely it can't be good for the baby to live off of carbs?!

lotbyname · 19/05/2018 10:39

@babybjan @twittlebee I'm so sorry lovely ones! I have no notion how it must feel. I hope you don't need to fight for answers. Glad you've got the mystial place of the multiple miscarrige unit Babybjan xxx

I'm feeling very very sorry of myself atm. My ms is nowhere near as bad as it was last time. I'm afraid it means I might miscarry. As well we found out this week that my elder son as a genetic sight disorder (he's doing so well) I'm seriously doubtful that I would want to pass that on again if we lost this baby. Bleugh. I've booked an early scan for 8th June which is for ever and ever away.

Upsydasiy · 19/05/2018 13:33

I’m struggling today. Feeling so so nauseous today struggling not to heave my guts. At work as well 🤢😩

charlybs · 20/05/2018 09:59

@lg93 eat whatever you can in the first trimester. The baby will take whatever it needs so you're likely to suffer way before the bub does lol. Just try not to eat tonnes. Eating for 2 is a myth, unfortunately. Didn't stop me during my first pregnancy though haha

sexnotgender · 20/05/2018 11:45

Apparently you don't need any extra calories in the first 6 months and only an extra 300 calories a day for the last 3 months.

I'm feeling better today. Just had some grilled halloumi with leftover taco mince, guacamole and sour cream.

TheNewDelia · 20/05/2018 12:30

@sexnotgender grilled halloumi sounds amazing! Great that you are feeling a bit better.

I'm really utterly dreadful, no idea how I am going to manage work tomorrow, nothing seems to help apart from toast! I've also got work to finish off that I couldn't manage last week due to sickness... this isn't going to be a run few weeks.

sexnotgender · 20/05/2018 13:09

Thanks thenewdelia I absolutely love halloumi!
Sorry you’re struggling, hope it lifts soon.

Ash1992 · 20/05/2018 15:52

Anyone had a 6 week scan but it showed nothing

Emz1989 · 20/05/2018 18:44

Hello everyone, just got a bfp this morning!
Last period was 19.4.18 so I think that gives me an edd of 25.1.19...
Very early days obviously and took 17 cycles so much, much, much longed for sibling for dd1 (3 in a few weeks)
Lovely to have people to chat to and come along with the ride x

MrsS1984 · 20/05/2018 19:26

Hi all. I also got a bfp this morning, edd of 21.01. Mixed emotions to be honest as had two miscarriages last year, not sure I can take another and was very apprehensive about trying again but here we are! From reading the last few pages it looks like there's a few of us in the same boat which is nice (not nice but you know what I mean!).

polkadotjersey · 20/05/2018 20:32

Hello everyone. Checking in with a BFP yesterday at 4w+2 and an estimated due date from Natural Cycles of 25th January so same as you @Emz1989!

I started to suspect I might be pregnant on Monday because my temperature was continuing to rise and I'd started to feel really queasy on and off. Also had the early morning insomnia and general tiredness other people have mentioned. AF was due on Thursday but waited till yesterday and got a strong positive!

I've only told my DH and one close friend who's a midwife so far. We're still deliberating over when to tell our parents. We're moving this week so will book in with the midwife once we're in.

trukevoli · 20/05/2018 21:19

I didnt know if i should write but i see a few of you have.

Last saturday i started to have light bleeding and i knew...come sunday i go to the out of hours who confirm no infection and i need to go to the early pregnancy unit. Wednesday i finally get an appointment (useless GP) still very very light bleeding. I have an internal scan and blood test and it sets off the bleeding. Friday i was due to have a second blood test but had a D&V bug (thanks toddler) so had it today and miscarriage confirmed but still some hormones so need to take a pregnancy test in 2 weeks to confirm not ectopic.

I am doing fine and seeing it as just one of those things.

I wish all you lovely ladies the most amazing future and pregnancy.

Birth wise the best advice i can give is take a high level sugary drink with straws and a tens machine. Dont plan too much as chances are it will change.

Ash1992 · 20/05/2018 21:28

@trukevoli so sorry to hear. Are the internal scans painful .

trukevoli · 20/05/2018 21:40

Ash1992 i had one with my first born and it wasnt at all. This one wasnt when it was straight or looking at the right side of me but the left was. I wasnt quite expecting it. Definitely not unbearable though.

GruffaloPants · 20/05/2018 22:05

Hello everyone.

Just found out I am expecting DC3 with a due date of 23rd January. A little nervous especially as I'm 40 and I didn't get a positive til 2 days after my period was due (and even then it was v faint). However, I'm also a little excited! All going according to plan I will have the baby late December/early January as I am induced early due to medical issues. Feels weird to think that at Christmas I'll either be the size of a house, or have a newborn!

GruffaloPants · 20/05/2018 22:07

Sorry about your news trukevoli, and thanks for your kind words to all here.

Babit5485 · 20/05/2018 22:49

Hi all, been lurking for a while so thought I should say hello. Very new to all this so is great to hear your views, fears, progress! V. Early days for me but think my EDD would be 21st Jan. How is everyone feeling about a Jan birthday? I wasn't too bummed but when I spoke to GP to book in appt she said 'mmm ah never mind' as if it was a real shame! Feeling a tad irritated!
