I have recently found out I am pregnant and I believe baby would be due 6th January 2019. I know it is such early days, but are there any other Mums-to-be out there who have just discovered they are pregnant and who will be due next year? Sounds crazy saying that!...

Hi all, congrats on all the bfp's. Mind if I join too. Got my bfp on Friday and been testing every morning since. I'll be due around the 20th January, so currently about 4 weeks. Not many symptoms yet so fingers crossed.

stegosauruslady · 14/05/2018 09:06

Yep! Bongo's Bingo is ace, I was there recently for a friend's birthday.

BabyBjan · 14/05/2018 09:53

Hello Jan mummies!

My third trial after 2 Miscarriages..excited and hopeful this time will be succesful. Our due date is 20jan.

I would really appreciate if any mummy can share with me apps that can help with pregnancy nutrition, like what to eat everyday, trackers etc. I've been researching all morning and so far found the Wholemea app, I set my profile to pregnant and they suggested oysters..

MrsH1990 · 14/05/2018 10:14

hello everyone, I am about 7 weeks and this is my first baby and was a total surprise! We are so happy, my due date is 29th December and all being well, our little one will be there at our wedding next May too! Love reading about everyone's symptoms and all the support it's so lovely. I am queasy most of the day every day and tired beyond all belief - as are most of us it seems! Looking forward to seeing everyone's updates. xxx

I love having this thread (although I’m more of a stalker on here lately than a poster) it can feel so lonely in these first few week I’ve found. I’m suffering terribly with genital herpes at the moment 😪 and feel like here is the only place I can talk about it.

Penelopepitstop2306 · 14/05/2018 16:22

@Frenchiemamax sorry to hear you're suffering. Have you had any help from the doctor?

I'm ok during the day with tiredness I just get to 8pm and am suddenly so tired. I'm not enjoy our mini heat wave at the moment. I'm a super clammy bloaty mess. I've had quite a lot of uncomfortable cramps today which I'm hoping is nothing sinister but am trying just to stay calm and positive and ride it out. No spotting so that must be a good sign.

@mrsgreen13 how exciting you found out on your wedding night. What a fab wedding present.

I'm so impatient for my first appointment it just feels like I'm ambling through no mans land at the moment.

Upsydasiy · 14/05/2018 17:23

Morning (or evening 😂) night shifts are killing my body clock 😂 checking in to see how everyone is getting on.

I’m really struggling with nights, exhaustion is killing me and I’m ready for bed so early dragging myself through the shift is hard work 😢 plus the nausea is hitting me in waves now 🤢

Got a private scan next week and it feels like forever away. Got my letter through for my dating scan and that literally is ages away. Don’t know how we are going to keep it secret for that long 😂

Hope everyone has had a lovely Monday.

jellyfish2210 · 14/05/2018 17:57

The tiredness is really hard work. And not having people other than DH to talk to about it is so hard going. I want to complain to my colleagues who would most definitely give me sympathy but I can't. I'm only 7 weeks. 12 week mark seems so far away!!

Ash1992 · 14/05/2018 18:00

Hi I'm 6 weeks pregnant with my first and have been getting cramps short but painful read it's normal and it's the stretching your body is doing

loopdeelou · 14/05/2018 18:06

@Ash1992 I've had period pain cramps on and off for ages now. I think it's supposed to be normal as long as it's not accompanied by bleeding. Fingers crossed 🤞

How far along are you ? Are we going to get this all the way through no one ever tells you about the aches and pains lol I've also had bad gas and diarea

loopdeelou · 14/05/2018 19:19

I'm 6+1 and yes I've had those symptoms too 😂

OP posts:
Ash1992 · 14/05/2018 19:23

Oh no are you taking anything for it . It's really uncomfortable isn't it. I'm trying to eat plain foods not spicy. Ate you having an early scan or waiting untill 8/12 weeks x

loopdeelou · 14/05/2018 19:56

Not taking anything no. It's uncomfortable but wouldn't say mine is painful. I think we are considering a private scan at 8 weeks. I'm really keen to check all is ok and tell everyone. I will be 12 weeks when my sister in law is due to give birth. It's the first grandchild in the family and everyone is making a fuss. I don't want to break the news that we are expecting as she is giving birth 😂 don't want to steal limelight off her or distract in anyway.

Ash1992 · 14/05/2018 20:26

I'm having a 7 week scan next week. Have you had any sickness yet.

loopdeelou · 14/05/2018 21:00

Haven't thrown up yet but was certainly on the verge of it several times today!

OP posts:
mrsgreen13 · 14/05/2018 21:08

I've had some sharp sensations but not painful - apparently can be the embryo burrowing in!! Feel so tired but that could just be from the wedding still. I'm blaming gas on the baby but DH isn't convinced!

I phoned the GP today and they booked me for an 8 week initial appointment with the midwife on 6th June - it feels forever away!! I've been using NaturalCycles to track my ovulation, which puts me at 4 weeks, but took a Clearblue test today (just to double check!) and it said 1-2 weeks does anyone know how reliable these are? I think I saw someone say they got 3 different readings in one week?

I read somewhere that they count from the date of the last period so one the day of conception you are already 2 weeks so maybe that adds up?

lotbyname · 14/05/2018 22:34

I am in bed. I can smell my husbands fish dinner from downstairs... i hoped it would fade... bleugh!!@!!! So over morning sickness

TheNewDelia · 14/05/2018 23:03

Welcome everyone! This is my first pregnancy and the nausea has really surprised me, it's low level (most of the time) but never really goes away. Really hoping it eases off after 12 weeks (which feels like ages away!)

Upsydasiy · 14/05/2018 23:23

The nausea is driving me up the wall tonight. Not vomited today though so fingers crossed!

Also I need to pee so much! 😂

Ash1992 · 15/05/2018 06:19

How many weeks are you and are you just feeling sick or vomiting as well

helloworld88 · 15/05/2018 06:39

Hey @mrsgreen13 the clear blue count from ovulation whereas the doctors etc go from the first day of your last period so looks like it's working out correct for you!
