I have recently found out I am pregnant and I believe baby would be due 6th January 2019. I know it is such early days, but are there any other Mums-to-be out there who have just discovered they are pregnant and who will be due next year? Sounds crazy saying that!...

@Frenchiemamax ouch... hope the sudocreme helps.

@Upsydasiy here's hoping the spotting clears up quickly.

ld1234 · 10/05/2018 13:15

Hi January 19' bloomers! I found out I was pregnant on Monday, today I'm 5 weeks preggo with my first.
Due 10th January 2019!!
Symptoms: mega sore boobs, cramps, tiredness and lots of toilet breaks!!

loopdeelou · 10/05/2018 13:30

@Frenchiemamax I think I read that can happen. Probably best to go get something from the chemist though. Hope you're ok

Hello! Still Envy central here, I made the mistake of taking the bins out this morning while I was putting the washing on the line...yuck. I was pale and shaky afterwards!

@Upsydaisy I hope it turns out to be nothing.

We are off out for cocktails (I found a place that has a lush sounding range of non-alcoholic ones for me!) and dinner tonight with some friends, but I'm tired already! I have saved my caffiene allowance for a coffee based one to keep me awake!

laurs2309 · 10/05/2018 13:47

It was just a random cat, none of our neighbours have cats so I don't know where it came from!

The anti nausea tablets the doctor gave me are helping so if anyone else is suffering really badly it's definitely worth a chat with the doc. I still feel sick but they have taken the edge off enough for me to function and eat a bit more and be able to talk without heaving.

LG93 · 10/05/2018 15:00

Glad I'm not the only one getting twinges after sex - neither of us are hugely fussed about it at the minute but feel we should make the most of not having a child to worry about 😂

I hope the spotting turns out to be nothing @upsydaisy - how many weeks are you?

Had lunch with my 2 best work friends today and seeing my best 2 non work friends one evening next week - it's so hard not to say anything!

I've got a gp appointment booked for 5th June - it was already booked to start my referral for fertility clinic so really looking forward to telling my lovely gp the good news - I'll be nearly 8 weeks then but can't get an appointment sooner, and the midwife won't even take your details until 6 weeks here let alone see you so I don't think it'll matter too much. Gp wants to send me to obstetrics/consultant led anyway as I'm likely to be high risk so couldn't self refer even if I wanted to!

Pearcrumble · 10/05/2018 15:39

How early did you all feel symptoms of this pregnancy? I know it's a classic and much documented question but still interested...

I came off the pill April 1st and have had a loss of appetite, fatigue, queasy and sore boobs since around the middle of April if not before...I assumed those were just post-pill feels but now I am wondering if I'm a bit further on than I thought. Still getting quite faint test lines though. And quite obviously still fretting too much about something I can't control! Haha.

Frenchiemamax · 10/05/2018 15:48

@pearcrumble except what I think is thrush, absolutely no symptoms at all (kind of wish I did have a hint of sickness to make it feel more real)

jellyfish2210 · 10/05/2018 16:07

Today I am tired and have sore boobs but otherwise feeling fine. Was nauseous for a bit this morning but hasn't come to anything. Had a little bit of mild cramping at the 5 week mark but that has eased off. Just really bloated by the end of the day.

When is AF actually due for you?

Jebbs · 10/05/2018 16:12

@Pearcrumble For pregnancy signs I had sore boobs about a week before and needing the loo crazy amounts about 4 days before missed period.

Upsydasiy · 10/05/2018 16:28

Hi all thank you for the support.
The spotting has stopped thankful so fingers crossed 🤞 it’s nothing and I have a sticky bean. So stressed

LeeCee · 10/05/2018 16:52

@Upsydasiy glad to hear that! Fingers crossed for us all. These already days are so scary!

Welcome @ld1234 & congrats on the BFP!

I went for my GP appointment earlier and it made it all seem very real! Talking about mother and baby and it took me a second to process that's me! And this hopefully sticky bean!

LeeCee · 10/05/2018 16:52

*early not already

Pearcrumble · 10/05/2018 17:19

Thanks for sharing yours @frenchiemamax @jellyfish2210 @jebbs, makes me think maybe all my symptoms began as post-pill side effects and then maybe more recently have continued into pregnancy ones. Must be unlikely to have the full shebang (except the peeing all the time, still not got that)as early as 2 weeks off pill.

I haven't had a period in four years Shock because Cerazette completely stopped mine and I didn't get one before getting a bfp 5 May. Feel quite unsettled that I've got no idea how far I am, could be as far as 7 weeks if I ov'd just a few days after stopping it, or could be as little as 4. More likely something in the middle. Did a CB Digi on Sunday which said 1-2 week which would make me 4/5 weeks I guess. Plus a frer and 2 test strips, all with fairly faint lines.

Sorry such a ramble, it's ok for me to while away hours of speculation but less kind to inflict it on you guys! Grin I never thought I would be this obsessed. Must find a way to chill esp if I am only just 4 weeks, so early to be so invested .

LeeCee · 10/05/2018 17:32

Hi @Pearcrumble I felt bloated from just when my period was due until pretty much now! 5+3 bloat has started to ease but still can't sleep on my stomach at night (no won't for the next 9 months I guess!)

Sore boobs from around the same time.

Only one evenings nausea so far

And that's pretty much it! Wishing more symptoms on myself so I "felt" more pregnant but just trying to relax and take each day as it comes

loopdeelou · 10/05/2018 18:31

@Pearcrumble I feel like I got quite early symptoms. I definitely felt pregnant before I took a test and my DH thought I was crazy. My cervix felt like it was twinging which was a weird sensation and the sides of my boobs were really sore. The most obvious sign for me though was cm as I had been tracking that and position of the cervix. I was pretty sure by how high my cervix was.

When I came off the pill last year though my body was definitely all of the place and I had a lot of weird symptoms. So I would have found it difficult to tell that apart from pregnancy symptoms.

OP posts:
Jebbs · 10/05/2018 18:58

@Pearcrumble sudden thought that might help: nausea, sore boobs etc can be a sign of ovulation. I had that after coming off the pill too and had wondered if it was pregnancy. If ovation it puts you around where you originally thought you were and in line with your tests, if I've understood this correctly Smile

Jebbs · 10/05/2018 18:59

Yeah, so that ovation in my previous post should have been ovulation, sorry!

Pyxie · 10/05/2018 19:05

My only symptoms were sore boobs for a couple of days and sheer exhaustion! I feel like I could sleep for days!

Penelopepitstop2306 · 10/05/2018 19:19

@Pearcrumble I had no symptoms really. I got what i thought was the start of my period on Friday because of brownish CM but it didn't materialise into anything on Saturday i ignored it on Sunday thinking it's just an odd cycle them Monday decided to do a test because I was fed up of AF not arriving by then. I have some bloating and sore boobs in the evening but no sickness yet. Just want everything to be ok.

Have changed my GP appointment to see the midwife so that's on 6th June. Feels so long away!

Penelopepitstop2306 · 10/05/2018 19:22

@Upsydasiy glad your spotting has stopped. I think it's quite common in early pregnancy but am sure it's very scary when it happens.

@laurs2309 It was such a plot twist to find out it wasn't your cat! What a surprise!

Pearcrumble · 10/05/2018 20:23

@jebbs that makes a lot of sense and is reassuring, thank you! It fits with what I think was fertile cm around then.
@loopdeelou I read so many things saying 'don't get carried away thinking you're pregnant, it's just your hormones getting over the pill' that three weeks of sore boobs and all the rest didn't register!
@leecee I feel the same with wishing more symptoms on myself, it feels reassuring to feel 'different', but I'd be the first to moan if I did start vomiting all the time
@pyxie with you on them

Sore boobs seem to have got everybody! I find it really amazing that breasts change so early to prepare for feeding a baby in nine months time. I went to M&S and bought a bigger nonwired, soft one today, seemed embarrassingly early but so comfy now!

loopdeelou · 10/05/2018 20:28

@Pearcrumble I'm already in new non-wired bras. My boobs have been killing!! I thought it was way too early but just happy I'm comfier now!

OP posts:
LG93 · 10/05/2018 20:45

How big are your non wired bras ladies? I've been looking at them but would need a DD/E already and I'm worried they won't be supportive enough!

helloworld88 · 10/05/2018 20:53

Joining this one as well as the jan 19 one on the pregnancy board!

First baby, due 17th January, currently 4 weeks
