Feeling a bit happier today. DH and I ahd a chat this morning before he headed off to work. I've been really tearful and miserable lately so didn't want to come on here just to moan!

Think I will probably go for the section. As DH said this morning, when I am feeling calm and level-headed I want the section to make sure that I don't have the same bonding problems I had with DD. Took me ages to get over the birth trauma and I don't want to feel like I can't be around this baby the way that I did with DD for so long.

I might ask for a scan on friday though as I can't help but think that if I actually went into labour prior to the section date there is a chance I might be willing to go for it. At least if I know this baby is the right way there is no need to worry about breech etc...

Morning all!

Read your posts Red Fraggle, and I think anyone would be feeling the same. But as BZ said, do come on and share! We are all very up and down at the moment.

I had a friend who had an c-section on Monday and is coming home today! She had a 50/50 chance of a successful vbac after to c-sections, but as teh consultant said, she'd know when it would happen and he would do the section, no emergency, no general anethestic, she'd be awake and have some control in that way. I think psychologically she got her head round it beforehand, she took photos of her children in to focus on while it went ahead and all in all sounds like a very positive experience. She was prepared with homeopathic rememdies and exercises for recovery, as well as being able to provide consistent care for her children. So all in all, it was a positive thing. I hope that helps you.

As far a the housemove goes, you'll probably have to take a back seat. Do you have friends who will rally round and help? If your nesting instinct kicks in you might be ahead of the game already! I know I've thrown out most of DPs stuff already.

Hope everyone is OK today. Am a bit at your big sleep Holly! My DD is a bit unwell (hand, foot and mouth I think - nice!) and now I need to change her stink.

Goddamit! Peppa Pig is on and they've just mentioned Custard Donuts. Doh!

Til later, ladies

Did you know you can get this for your Phil and Teds (if this link doesn't work, it is under accessories, called Hip Bag and Belt) - it's not particularly stylish but sits on top of the sun cover and is good storage.

Hope everyone's aches are ok - childminder is here so am off for a rest... Now, noone is to have a baby while I'm gone
