I know what you mean bumper....I've been using excuses for my behaviour for over two years now....the coeliac disease, the wedding/job hunt/house move, then my poor dad died then 2 mcs then pg with scary fucking hormones all over the place....during all of which I've been a cranky crotchety shouty nightmare....or is this just the real me ?

Lord, I'm off before I bring everyone down......

BadZelda · 15/05/2007 10:03

Think you're scary Daisy? You sound perfectly reasonable most of the time to me. You have been through a lot after all!

NattyThomasandEllen · 15/05/2007 10:04

morning all! been up most of night as DH has been rolling over and squish ellen every 5 seconds.. thats and my poor tummy has been playing up. hope this isnt the pre labour clearout as im not ready and need to be in my house
am having to sell my single pushchair on ebay in order to raise funds for van hire, am going to by cheap one to replace it as will be using a double more than likely all the time. already on £20 and few days to go! yay!
i think the pains were caused by diareeh, u can get killer cramps when tummy bad cant you? thats what they feel like cramps more than contractions.
thanks for worrying about me tho guys! im only 28+1 so didnt think that was it for me

Wouldn't worry daisy, think I'm down there already (without such good reasons either).

I AM SO PISSED OFF TODAY!!!!

BadZelda · 15/05/2007 10:05

(says BZ who has shouted at DH AND DD this morning, mainly because trying to get head around complicated code at this stage of preg is just NOT working and have to have it finished before I can stop work!) Think my DH deserves a medal for putting up with me most of the time, tbh.

Twiga · 15/05/2007 10:06

No early arrivals yet then .

My parcel just arrived - Thanks to the sender, it's lovely . I got some chocolate, sanctury stuff (dd is delighted with the mini massage thingy - she thinks it's a big hairbrush and is sat doing her and her dolls hair as I type), some booties and a very cute cotton blanket with ducks on which will be great in the pram with the warmer weather.

TALLULAHBELLE · 15/05/2007 10:06

Yesss - my new glider chair has just arrived -with footstool. Mmmmm, now just to figure out how to put the damn thing tohether- DH no DIY skills whatsoever- and then where to put it.

BadZelda · 15/05/2007 10:06

What can I do to cheer you all up? Jokes?

Actually my jokes are so bad they might be responsible for self-harming!

BadZelda · 15/05/2007 10:08

Natty - I haven't got a car - but only in Brixton, so if I can help in any way with the move (looking after thomas, or something like that) happy to. That's not much use is it?

NattyThomasandEllen · 15/05/2007 10:09

ooo a glider chair! ive always wanted one of them very

TALLULAHBELLE · 15/05/2007 10:11

got it from kiddicare website - much cheaper than mothercare one. Will see if its as good once its assembled.

daisybump · 15/05/2007 10:11

See HERE

Had been wondering where Nannyjo had got to....she had OC and her last post was sometime in April.

Aaaargh its all going to kick off for us soon......

NattyThomasandEllen · 15/05/2007 10:12

lol thanks for offer but will have tom wih me. DH has said wether i have had baby or not i have to go to my mums and wait for him and the other "men" to deal with move as its not good for me all the stress, and i could hurt baby / myself esp if just had her i shouldnt be lifting things (as chances are i will end up with c-section)
so thank u anyway but seems im banned from said area and have to twiddle thumbs @ my mums.. will be good if baby born, mum can drool over her if not i can rest my (by that stage) very big bump while mum runs around after tom

Ok really have to go or will never get to the Lakes. Catch up when i get back on Fri - tho is good chance will never find u all again the threads move on so quickly.

BadZelda · 15/05/2007 10:18

Ah - glad you have Mum around to support you - wasn't sure if your family was near or not.

My mum on the other hand is NEVER relaxing - still expects me to wait hand and foot on her, even at this stage. Took DD out for an outing on Sat for first time EVER (she is 2.5yrs) and sent her back with the same nappy she left in (but full of poo and wee) and with extra diarrhoea as she fed her maccy d's for lunch (DD has never eaten this before...can only assume that's what upset her tummy). Anyway - enough complaining about my Mum - have already told her she's banned from birthing room this time as she spent whole of first labour complaining about my smelly breath... (had foolishly eaten garlic tomato sauce) and then came round next day and complained that we hadn't made any lunch for her!

daisybump · 15/05/2007 10:18

OMG 1st june baby! That's scary! I was wondering if she'd had her baby yet. Hope sputnik and catsuitgirl are ok, they haven't posted in the past few days.

Daisy you are fab and you have been through a lot. You are allowed to be a bit cranky if you want to be! (((HUGS)))

Fab photos bumper! Love the wedding one, your dh looks really young!

Seansgirl · 15/05/2007 10:42

Yikes! The first Juner! OMG! What a great weight though for an early baby!

daisybump · 15/05/2007 10:42

So...are we starting a June Birth Stats thread? Who's volunteering to be our PA?

I'm definately off to pack my hospital bag feeling very odd still and a bit crampy....my only problem is I don't know what to take in for the baby......will a couple of vests, a couple of sleepsuits and the "coming home" outfit be enough????

riabutterflew · 15/05/2007 10:42

Wish I was going to the Lakes. Chances are I wouldn't come back!

So far - have dried up half of yesterdays dishes and spent 25 minutes on phone to my sister. Neither job is on the list. Think I might go back to bed...

Baby not moving much today - do you think it's getting ready for the big journey?

hollyandalice · 15/05/2007 10:43

Me, me, me I'll be PA!!
