Daisy I think I took in 6 vests and 6 sleepsuits last time and I used most of them and I was only in for one night! Dd kept puking mucous over herself and I had to keep changing her!

daisybump · 15/05/2007 10:56

Well volunteered that woman....Nannyjo wasn't actually on the due date stats, but she can take pride of place at the top of the Birth Stats

LOL at the six vests and sleepsuits. I suppose DH can always bring more in if I need it. DS spent his forst afternoon and night in a nappy and blanket only. He was very sleepy and it seemed a shame to wake him just to put clothes on him!

hollyandalice · 15/05/2007 10:58

Right I shall start the stats thread. I need to get everyone paired up with text buddies as well. I'll do that this evening when there are more people around.

Seansgirl · 15/05/2007 11:08

Well volunteered Holly!

Ria, its a possibility, you never know - oh! you could be no2

NattyThomasandEllen · 15/05/2007 11:09

OP posts:
Seansgirl · 15/05/2007 11:14

Not sure how the text thingy works - but I could pair up with Daisy (looks over to Daisy - is that alright with you?) we already have each others mobile nos?

NattyThomasandEllen · 15/05/2007 11:18

dont mind giving mine out... its only a pay as u go chip, contract been cut off

hollyandalice · 15/05/2007 11:19

Right the stats thread is done!

Natty if we all have text buddies then if anything happens you (or your dp/dh) can text or phone your buddy and your buddy can update everyone on the thread! It will save us worrying if someone suddenly becomes absent!

I think the best thing to do in terms of text buddies is for everyone to email me with their email addresses and I can pair people up and you can email each other your mobile numbers. That way only one person need have your number and it is much more secure. I know daisy and bumper have each other's numbers so I can cross you chicks off!!

NattyThomasandEllen · 15/05/2007 11:21

ok. [email protected]

hollyandalice · 15/05/2007 11:21

Daisy you are seriously popular, you have everyone's numbers!!!

daisybump · 15/05/2007 11:22

SG and I also have each other's after my shopping for curtain track for her yesterday!! DH will be primed to let both of them know!!

hollyandalice · 15/05/2007 11:22

Shit, I spose I'd best tell you my email address! It's my MN name at hotmail.co.uk.

daisybump · 15/05/2007 11:24

Not popular...just a mad old hairy trucker with a penchant for pregnant ladies

I'm only kidding.....honest!

hollyandalice · 15/05/2007 11:26

The postman just came with an unexpected parcel and it was a 'postpartum' gift set from my fave organic mum and baby place. Bless my lovely Mum - She sent it!!
She says it is the start of my labour bag kit!! How very lovely. I feel all warm all glowy - will waft the lovely vibes to you all. (especially you BZ after hearing your Mum story! )

hollyandalice · 15/05/2007 11:31

OP posts:
fatcatkin · 15/05/2007 11:35

I know - she's fab!!

My awful sister is now rofl at the thought of needing 'bottom' spray after the birth. (although she is fairly at the fact that I got a pressie and she didn't!)

hollyandalice · 15/05/2007 11:35

Wow!! The emails are coming thick and fast! I have a special folder in my hotmail for all my mn messages and contacts! I've never been this organised before!

BadZelda · 15/05/2007 11:35

fatcatkin - I am so pathetic, that just made me cry...
She does care really, and can be wonderfully kind to people...when she's not acting like a spoilt child. Right: am going to spend 10 mins thinking up 10 positive things about my mum to make me feel like less of a bitch now!

fatcatkin · 15/05/2007 11:36

You're not a bitch! (I'm sorry I made you cry )
