derlor · 14/05/2007 21:58

Natty - i can still get my normal jeans on too and i've gone from wearing size 12 - 10 - 8 maternity clothes. baby will feed off you and i just find at the mo i can only eat little and often. i've put on a stone in actual weight but have definately lost body fat - my midwife not worried about me though as baby bump size seems normal - check with your MW if you are worried though

daisybump · 14/05/2007 22:01

Smokin' Derlor....Smokin'

Holly....you do not look 40! You're young and healthy and all of this will go away after you've had the baby, and you'll get back to your slim lovely self with two LOs to run around after....

You should try this malarky when you are nearly 40 FFS

derlor · 14/05/2007 22:01

Yes Natty - baby will literally suck you dry of whatever it needs and you just have to suffer!!!!!! - beetroot beetroot beetroot
oh dear i think i've lost the plot!!!!!!!

Holly - if DP is there get him to rub your leg downwards from ankle to knee to encourage blood flow

I've put on about 16 lbs which is much less than with DS at this stage. I've also dropped from 14-16 normal clothes to 12-14 maternity. I also bought some size 14 non maternity joggies for after the birth and they fit me just fine at the moment so will be hanging off when I lose my 45" waist, and I've definately lost fat from my upper arms and face (but strangely I've put it on above my knees)

Can't wait to see what size I'll be when this is over!!

NattyThomasandEllen · 14/05/2007 22:07

dont think he would fit in ur hospital bag, unless they have him in travel size

Right...I'm off to take my fat wobbly bits off up to bed....after a lovely day, I've been feeling really flat this evening....these hormones are just bitching.

DS has been a monster this evening (he saves it up for when DH is away through the week) and I'm wondering again how the fark I'm going to cope with him and a baby, when I can't even cope with him on his own.......

....top tip for sleepless nights though. I've been taking a flsk of water and a mug and some herbal tea bags up to bed with me on a night, so when I wake up at 3:30 I don't have to haul my bulk downstairs for a hot drink. Feel really pleased with myself for thinking of that one

hollyandalice · 14/05/2007 22:19

Night daisy! Enjoy your herbal tea xx

derlor · 14/05/2007 22:20

Night Daisy - good thinking re the tea sleep well

derlor · 14/05/2007 22:21
