@Kingy2910 yes I was on sept thread. I remember you.
It was at epu. Had an ectopic which means all pg I have to have an early scan now. I thought I was 6 weeks so was. Little surprised. Have u had a scan yet to try and date it ?

Kingy2910 · 02/04/2018 12:02

@intelligentputty no scan yet I'm going to have a private one done in about 2 weeks by then i should be just over 8 weeks I think (when I lost last one). Bus dating me from mc at the minute!!!!

Mayah · 02/04/2018 13:49

Hello everyone, joining from the October thread. @Magpie24 just like you, I had bright red bleeding and cramps last friday and went to EPU after work. You should do the same if you haven't already, and best of luck Flowers They gave me a scan for this morning which showed a very energetic little bean and no cause for the bleeding. She also dated me at 8+5wks, not the 10+2 I thought I was.

So here I am, November 7th is my new date, 1st child.

Magpie24 · 02/04/2018 14:00

@Mayah you have the same due date as me Smile

I had an early scan at 5+6 due to some earlier brown bleeding and I have another tomorrow. Fingers crossed all goes well!

Mayah · 02/04/2018 14:15

@Magpie24 oh hello due date twin! I really hope tomorrow goes well for you. Hopefully, little one is just keeping you on your toes. I've got a private scan on the 11th, thought I'd be 11wks but I'll have to give them a ring as now I'll only be 9+7.

I'm currently living with morning sickness and all day nausea which is a killer. Yet to figure out what foods actually work for me, because I have a lonnng list of what doesn't.

Fidgety31 · 02/04/2018 15:11

I’m 8 weeks and have had some brown spotting since yesterday - I’ve never had bleeding in previous pregnancies so rang the epu and they will phone me back tomorrow
Has anyone else had this ?

HanahMarie · 02/04/2018 16:40

@Magpie24 I like your frozen OJ lolly idea 😉👍🏻

Feeling some discomfort today - just sort of like when you have a period - not pain though and no blood or anything - just feel sluggish...so far I've not put on any weight or got any sleep fun of a bump - hope it stays that way for a bit - at least until we're ready to share as it will be so obvious - I'm a pole dance instructor so when you're m teaching it will be hard to hide any tummy growth 🙈

HanahMarie · 02/04/2018 17:18

*any sign of (silly auto correct)

mrsmistergav · 02/04/2018 17:18

Oh my god! I just got some maternity bras delivered and they have to be the most comfortable bra I have ever worn! Shame it was £50 for 2, even then that is at a sale price (but I'm used to that cost as have big boobs!!) Hope you are all feeling alright and have had a good Easter x

Magpie24 · 02/04/2018 17:40

@HanahMarie enjoy! I've had two today.

@Fidgety31 yes, me. It's unnerving isn't it. You should go to your early pregnant unit for an early scan to see what's going on. I saw an out of hours Gp who referred me for a scan at 5+6 and I have another tomorrow (at 8+6). The sonographer and midwives there were so not worried at all about it though. It's really really common.

NoCatsHere · 02/04/2018 20:23

wejammin not sure how old your dc’s are but could you do cinema with them? I’m taking my 3&7 year olds on Thursday and looking forward to the popcorn and my feet up!

wejammin · 02/04/2018 22:29

@NoCatsHere they're 3 and 6. Cinema would be great but my 3 year old hates it! She says it's too loud.

I've found a small egg hunt and craft activity thing on at a local historic house so we might do that in the afternoon if it stops raining. Lazy morning on the tablet/Lego hopefully!

TinyPawz · 03/04/2018 00:05

@mrsmistergav May I ask where you ordered the bras from. Being big of Noel myself I'm trying to avoid seriously scary bravissimo prices for bras that'll need upgraded every couple of weeks. I dreading it. Himself is delighted. Git 😤

TinyPawz · 03/04/2018 00:29

*norks ffs

mrsmistergav · 03/04/2018 06:10

@tinypawz I get my bras from brastop.com online so not scary bravissimo prices but still expensive. They had some others in the sale but not to my JJ size currently. My DH says he hasn't noticed them get bigger....... what a load of rubbish! Hope you find something!

sarahhh1984 · 03/04/2018 07:59

Have been away over Easter so just catching up on the thread now.

Welcome to all of the newbies! Sorry to hear some of you are having scares with spotting/bleeding. Hope you're all OK.

Lovely to see scan photos - congratulations! Fingers crossed yours goes well today, @Magpie24! My private scan is this Friday.

Full of cold today. DD brought it home from nursery last week and clearly wanted to share. 🤧

Picklesandpies · 03/04/2018 09:18

I have just been to the loo and have had some bleeding after a bowel movement. Feel really sick with worry now. It was browny red. Seemed to be a fair amount but has stopped now. Scan tomorrow. Wish it was today.

toasterstrudle · 03/04/2018 09:39

@Picklesandpies I'm sorry to hear that, fingers crossed everything is fine. I had bleeding in my last pregnancy a few times and all was well. When I lost a pregnancy it was really heavy bleeding for 3 days, to the extent I needed pads. If it's just a wee bit it's probably all fine. Still worrying for you always though.

wejammin · 03/04/2018 09:39

@Picklesandpies maybe tmi but I had some spotting after a big poop, I think it's quite common.

I've also had some spotting today after having sex last night. Dr Google says it's normal so I'm just trying to stay calm. 13 days til my scan, it's going sooooo slowly.

Picklesandpies · 03/04/2018 09:52

Thanks @wejammin and @toasterstrudle

I'm going to see whether I can get my scan this evening as they are open until 9pm. If not, at least it's tomorrow morning.

You are absolutely right about it being common in early pregnancy and especially after anything that may have 'disturbed' things. I had bleeds with my dd1 and she was fine so fingers crossed. Just need to stay positive. It just doesn't help that I don't feel remotely pregnant at 7+3! I also had some period like cramps the other night so hoping it's not to do with that.

I'll update later. Thanks for the support and sane words Smile

Picklesandpies · 03/04/2018 09:59

@toasterstrudle sorry for your previous loss by the way Flowers

Picklesandpies · 03/04/2018 10:00

Have appointment for 8.30pm tonight so that's good.

toasterstrudle · 03/04/2018 10:06

Thank you :) Brilliant news on the earlier scan, that'll help the day go quicker at least. And yes definitely a bleed after anything that increases the pressure down below or disturbs things seems fairly normal.

Picklesandpies · 03/04/2018 10:22

@wejammin hope your spotting settles down. X

NoCatsHere · 03/04/2018 10:40

pickles i think it's easier to give out helpful advice and sane words, I rarely take my own sensible advice!! good luck for your scan later. how many weeks will you be?
