Hush = gush

MeredithShepherd · 01/04/2018 17:35

@Magpie24 I have had bleeding a few times after a bowel movement. I’ve been for a scan since and everything is fine. Please don’t worry I’m sure everything is fine!

MiniMinions · 01/04/2018 18:45

@Magpie24 hope no more bleeding for you

All of you saying about bigger boobs mine haven't increased yet but nipples sore. Still got icky feeling in back of throat and becomes a bit like travel sickness feeling when passenger in DH car - but that might just be his driving!!

BadBadBeans · 01/04/2018 19:23

@Magpie24 Now apologies if this is a silly question (and also too personal!) but are you totally sure that the bright red blood wasn't actually from your bum? Just mentioning because obviously constipation is an early symptom, and constipation can lead to the odd bit of bum blood...

@Hanahmarie hope your ride went well! V impressive getting out training instead of eating all the choc!

I've been awfully hormonal this evening. Something set me off and I cried for about thirty minutes. Just could not stop snivelling! DH prescribed a bath and a book and I must say it did help. Lukewarm bath though cos I'm scared of cooking the bean...

@GiveMummytheWhizzer I have a major chocolate aversion. In fact all sweet stuff turns my stomach....

Had some champagne this weekend to keep my mum off my case. Can't wait to be ten or eleven weeks and able to share!

MiniMinions · 01/04/2018 19:53

Ok anyone use a Fitbit...haven't looked at my heart rate for a while properly as it was staying at 69/68 and noticed today that it dropped couple of days ago to 67 and today has dropped to 64....hoping that this is normal and not a sign of something happening!!

GiveMummyTheWhizzer · 01/04/2018 20:23

@hellotoyellow yep anything sweetish really. Actually just ANYTHING at the moment. Could only eat my beef from my roast dinner at mums as everything else turned my stomach.

@MiniMinions my Fitbit resting heartbeat has gone up since I've been pregnant by about 2 beats a minute. No idea what that means other than my body is working harder. Could it be blood pressure related? In which case maybe mention to midwife?

TheUbercornMum · 01/04/2018 20:25

Major chocolate aversion here too. Can't go near it. Very sickly today and I feel really sad. Hoping it passes soon as I'm fed up of not enjoying food and not being able to join in with my family. Ugh sorry I'm really fed up today so am a bit negative. Hope the rest of you have all had a lovely Easter Sunday.

Magpie hope you're OK and it's all stopped. It can be very normal. I've had it in both pregnancies now (this pregnancy and my DD) around 6 or 7 weeks and both times the early scan showed no signs of the reason why.

GiveMummyTheWhizzer · 01/04/2018 20:27

@TheUbercornMum know exactly how you feel; I could have written that today.

Had a breakdown last night because I couldn't chop the chicken for tea as it was making me feel proper ill!

MiniMinions · 01/04/2018 20:35

@GiveMummyTheWhizzer thanks, mine was usually around 57-60 then went up and stayed up from end of February until no when it has risen and then slight up/down but going down to 64 is lowest it's been for over a month. 8w+5 today.

I've only had a little choc bunny today and that felt too much!!

TheUbercornMum · 01/04/2018 21:14

@GiveMummyTheWhizzer in a strange way it feels reassuring it isn't just me, but I'm so sorry you're feeling like this too. It sucks. I'm totally off meat and have been for weeks so I totally understand. I have been on a vegetarian diet for weeks now. I've only just started to be able to cook basic things again at 10w. Last time it was loads longer than that and I couldn't even open the fridge so I guess that's a good thing. I just feel miserable and days like today it gets to me SadSadSadSad Hope you improve soon.

GiveMummyTheWhizzer · 01/04/2018 21:27

Me too @TheUbercornMum Thanks

Meat I've been fine with. It seems to be chocolate, greasy things and veg. And the raw chicken was not nice!

9 weeks today so hoping it eases off soon.

moomoo85 · 01/04/2018 21:31

I am not doing well, I have managed to keep fluids down enough that I can still see but not much else. Feeling very sorry for myself today.

Magpie24 · 01/04/2018 21:43

@BadBadBeans it's a good question! But I'm pretty sure it was vaginal bleeding. Not much since though so fx was just a one off.

I froze some orange juice in ice lolly moulds and they've really helped with the nausea today!

intelligentPutty · 01/04/2018 22:44

Hi all.
Tentatively joining the thread. Have been reading but scared to post.
@Kingy2910 @BunBunMum we seem to in same boat. My mc was 5th Feb and fell pregnant again straight away.

I had a scan 10 days ago and they found baby (more than last time!) and it had a hb. Measured at 5 weeks which seemed a little early but who's to know as of straight after mc.
Feeling hardly any symptoms. Have sore boobs but this went slightly today too. Next scan on Wednesday.

Saraswati · 02/04/2018 07:41

Welcome @intelligentputty what a rollercoaster for you, fingers crossed for next scan.

8 weeks here today and feeling horrific, very sick and have my whole family over today. I don't want to tell them yet but I think they might guess from the state of me. I'm finding it hard to look after dd I'm such a boring mummy at the moment. No idea what to do about work next week, I've got my booking in on weds so will ask mw about meds, I had some for hg last time with dd with helped a bit. It's not as bad but I'm scared of going to that place again.

I woke up at 5am after a really vivid dream about bleeding. I always dream about getting my period the night before it arrives so this has shaken me a bit, like it's a prophecy. I hope it's just my crazy hormone brain. I've got strong symptoms and no indications of miscarriage but 12 weeks seems so far away. Maybe I need to persuade dp to fork out for a scam before Confused

SakuraSunrise · 02/04/2018 09:13

@MiniMinions I actually took the heart rate off my fit bit ap display about a week ago. My HR had gone up and stayed up for a long while after my BFP but then started to drop a bit which I found was worrying me, so I decided to stop looking at it!

NoCatsHere · 02/04/2018 09:25

putty have you been offered a rescan because the first was at 5 weeks and they want to check progression at roughly 7 weeks? I’m seeing my doctor on Wednesday and I’ll be 6+2 and I want to ask for two scans, one about 7 weeks and one more at 10 weeks, the two points I’ve previously had miscarriages. I know I’ll probably be allowed one, but wondering if I’ll have a fight on my hands for two. I had a private scan last time at 9ish weeks and that’s when they discovered the mmc. I wasn’t with my OH, I was by myself and the scanner was male and it was an internal scan and it was literally the worst moment of my life. I just can’t bare to do it again privately, and I know I’ll never make it to 12 weeks without needing a scan for reassurance.

SkyLucy · 02/04/2018 09:29

Hi everyone, I rarely post but have been trying to keep up with the thread! I'm 10 weeks today, and dare I say it, feeling much less nauseous. I have quite a definite tummy now though, so can't wait to stop hiding under unusually baggy clothes and come clean! I've only told my parents and brother - the reaction so far has been "Lovely! Um, so soon though?!" (I have a 13 month old). It's not a tiny gap but I think they've seen me and DH struggling with chronic sleep deprivation and are wondering why we'd add to the madness! Anyone else with DC who've decided to stop sleeping?! As if the first trimester wasn't exhausting enough...zzzz...

Hope you all have lovely bank holidays, with minimal sickness and maximum rest!

intelligentPutty · 02/04/2018 10:11

Hi @NoCatsHere
This time she offered me a rescan 3 weeks later and I said '3 weeks!). So she changed it to 2 weeks.
Not sure if I'll get any after that.
In my previous experience they always offer one 2ish weeks later to check growth is as it should be. And if anything wiring one 9-14 days later to see if it's all ok (or not)

The waiting is sooo hard.

Kingy2910 · 02/04/2018 10:44

@intelligentputty was you on the September thread??? I seem to remember your name.

Did you have a private scan or at epu?

Shrimpi · 02/04/2018 11:23

Hi everyone. I am 8 weeks tomorrow and worked out my EDD to be 13th November.

I have been feeling quite tired, sick and refluxy. The smells of toothpaste and catfood are the worst for making me feel sick! Also I think I'm about 11 months pregnant with a baby composed entirely out of gas.

My booking appointment is in 2 days! I'm a paediatrician and work at the hospital where I'm booking - so it's going to be a bit weird as the midwife and I might recognise each other!

wejammin · 02/04/2018 11:37

God I feel like shit today! I'm supposed to be getting ready for a big day out at the museum with DCs and my sis and BIL. My clothes don't fit and I want to go back to bed. I've just thrown up my breakfast. The kids want zizzis for lunch and the thought of it is bleurgh. Dsis doesn't know yet so can't moan later. So sorry I'm moaning now to you all instead!

Tomorrow I have DCs by myself and no idea what I'll do with them.

TheImprobableGirl · 02/04/2018 11:42

Oh god I look about 7 months pregnant already Easter Blush
I am 9+2, today, really hoping that I make due date (even though I've never gone that far with dd1 and dd2) as I don't want another October Birthday!

My triggers for nausea are chips, sadly, and the smell of chips cooking in the oven - apparently that is all that DH wants to eat for the past two weeks, so i've been confined to the bedroom!

Sandwiches are still going down well, haven't found a variety I don't like yet Easter Grin

Bit concerned with all this Easter chocolate though, don't want to get GD, will have my screening in a couple of months for that. 25th April seems so long away for my next scan eek

TheImprobableGirl · 02/04/2018 11:44

This is my scan photo.... I was a bit Hmm at the fuzzy grey blob - but I think there was a miscommunication and i should have been sent to early pregnancy rather than the antenatal clinic!
