Yes, foxy I have the waitrose ice cream as well. Not very minty or chocolatey! The sainburys one is delish and the after eight one is even better! I have just eaten a whole pack of that chewy rennie and feel better now!

Glad you are ok derlor, lansinoh cream rocks!!!

Foxy if you're still around I've just emailed you.

riabutterflew · 12/05/2007 16:02

I have tesco mint choc chip. It's ok.

DHs ISA went missing about 18months ago when he transferred it to the current account. The banking ombudsman is still trying to find it. He does get lost interest and compensation when they do find it, but it's about time they did! (This kind of thing happens to us a lot, I'm sure it's not normal practice so don't worry).

It does feel good to cross jobs off the list, though it's quite random what I do and when. Wish I could get some more done but get bored so easily...

derlor · 12/05/2007 16:21

oh sorry i got lost trying to look for a drawer to fit under the cot/bed. - Holly like the mamas&papas one but can't find it any cheeper than £45 - help (except on ebay but it is pick up only so no use to me)

I think the After 8 ice cream must simply be superior because you just can't beat After 8's for chocolatey mintiness in my book (although minty matchmakers are a close second).

Hmmm, After 8 ice cream garnished with mint Matchmakes - what a shame I am in my pj's and going to get some would involve putting three small children in the car. Bugger. Wish I'd thought of it earlier!

BadZelda · 12/05/2007 16:53

MMm Icecream. I think my fave is Mackays? The honeycomb one is amazing. Hard to find though...

foxybrown · 12/05/2007 16:57

Not heard of that one ... will be looking out for it now. Where sells it?

notsolilKel · 12/05/2007 17:48

ok now we really need a new thread title...

foxybrown · 12/05/2007 17:51

Due in June, just too tired to come up with a thread title...

Due in June, when's the full moon?

Due in June, when May stops we'll all pop

you can tell I'd rather not be paying my children any attention right now...

oh well, better go and scream at them!

notsolilKel · 12/05/2007 18:28

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

foxybrown · 12/05/2007 18:55

hollyandalice · 12/05/2007 19:07

Due in June- Oral prostaglandins? Oooo imagine the heartburn!

God I'm feeling rough! All I want to do is lie down in the dark and quiet! I'll have a look for the drawer for you derlor. I did see one the other day, but I can't remember where. I shall have a think.

Not long to go lilkel and it'll be over! Think positive thoughts !

foxybrown · 12/05/2007 19:18

Love it Holly! Wonder how many people will get it?

NattyThomasandEllen · 12/05/2007 19:49

due in june - and my ass is a big as the moon
due in june - and cleaning like a loon

daisybump · 12/05/2007 19:50

Helloooo..been off being hormonal all afternoon...big blubs and lots of cuddles from DH, who has built up the nursery furniture and done all the hoovering upstairs (and I'm resisting the urge to check under the beds). Been out to wacky warehouse and then nasty pub next door for tea which was pretty rank...complained and got a refund...never mess with pg women or ask them if eveything is OK

Yes Lilkel, I had an emergency c-section with DS. I never fully dilated (got to 9.5 with a remaining rim of tissue), and inspite of them telling me that I could push through it, after nearly 5 hours of pushing and various drugs drips epidurals and spinals they finally wheeled me into theatre. They can't guarantee it won't happen again as they're not sure whether it was because I started pushing too quickly and this caused the rim of remaining tissue to get swollen and hard, or whether it is something mechanically wrong with my cervix. So, I could go through all the effort of dilating, only to find they take me straight to theatre at that point anyway. I did think I'd like to give it a go, but as it gets closer I'm less and less sure about it. Starting to like the idea of having a nice epidural and being handed my baby 25 minutes later then home after a few days reasonably fresh and rested......but I'm sure I'll have changed my mind and back again and then back again, between now and Wednesday

decisions decisions decisions

New thread title....Due in June, we'll be holding babies soon. surely no-one can find anything to say about that, other than "awww, cute"

NattyThomasandEllen · 12/05/2007 19:50

i have news guys.... interested?

daisybump · 12/05/2007 19:51

Like the last one there natty......except I'm not....but I should be....

daisybump · 12/05/2007 19:51

what sort of news? silly question, of course we're interested....

NattyThomasandEllen · 12/05/2007 19:52

i have a HOUSE!

daisybump · 12/05/2007 19:53

obviously when I said I'm not, I was referring to the cleaning like a loon thread title and not that I'm not interested in your news....oooh I just hate cross posting!!

NattyThomasandEllen · 12/05/2007 19:54

we were rather half assley browsing the papers today, and spotted a 2 bed house, round the corner, for 100 more a month than we pay..
so we viewed it and said we'd take it, however we have to get there 9am monday with the holding deposit as theres a bloke already coming in to pay his deposit as he wants it too... oooo the excitement!

daisybump · 12/05/2007 19:54

Wooo....great news . Is that like a proper house with a garden and not three flights of stairs and eveything?

Do tell all!!

daisybump · 12/05/2007 19:55

That sounds great, I hope you get it. I'd get there at 8:00 and camp out with the deck chair and flask of tea just to make sure.

NattyThomasandEllen · 12/05/2007 19:56

yeah has a front AND back garden.. and NO STAIRS!
its a total wreck and needs serious redecorating, however the bare bones are great for the money.. ooo and im moving 23rd hopefully... eeek a week and a half away

foxybrown · 12/05/2007 19:59

NATTY - HOW FANTASTIC!!!!

You'd better get a waddle on early Monday morning and pay up! Ah, they're probably making it up about the other bloke anyway.

I am so pleased for you. Now we don't have to stage a sit-in at the Housing Office! Yeaaaaa!

Will be waiting here for you 9.10 am Monday!

foxybrown · 12/05/2007 20:01

Hello Daisy - you've done well staying off here today. Hope you are OK
