Mine are just stupid. Can't seem to leave the house with their keys.
And rude.
If you got a heavily pregnant woman up to let you in (even if you don't live there and are the boyf of the silly tart who does) you'd at least say "thanks" or "sorry to have bothered you".
Arseholes.

hollyandalice · 11/05/2007 22:21

Mine parked outside their house the other day and put traffic cones outside ours! I called the police!! Hehe!

foxybrown · 11/05/2007 22:21

why did they put traffic cones outside yours?

foxybrown · 11/05/2007 22:22

shit, only 4 nappies left and I was meant to do an online shop tonight. oops!
so much for me not spending all evening on here!

BadZelda · 11/05/2007 22:24

Yeah - I would never raise my hand to anyone in anger...only in self-defence (and have, when someone tried to mug me). It really hurt quite a lot as I did everything I could to help her, including giving her all my baby equipment, mat clothes, taking her and baby to one o'clock clubs, etc etc. Then suddenly she's standing up in court and coming out with all this stuff. People are strange aren't they?
It's a right pain about all the baby equipment,
Luckily I've been able to borrow a lot of stuff from friends and haven't had to buy all of it again...but it's all more stuff to organise, and a pain in the arse...anyway sorry to vent but you lot are such good listeners...

hollyandalice · 11/05/2007 22:25

They were expecting a delivery! They didn't even have the manners to knock on the door and tell us, they just did it! When dp got home he ran the cones over so he could park outside. They got really shitty and asked us to move the car from outside our own house! Twunts!

BadZelda · 11/05/2007 22:27

Feel v. lucky to have great neighbours, who will even watch DD for us so we can go to the pub on the odd occasion...bargain in exchange for looking after their very friendly cat when they're away

hollyandalice · 11/05/2007 22:27

What a horrible woman bz! Did she and your bro have a bad break up? Maybe she is taking her frustrations about him on you. To slag you off though when you've helped her so much is just cruel!

hollyandalice · 11/05/2007 22:29

Foxy my dd has gone to bed with an ill fitting kushies nappy on because I ran out earlier! I know she is going to wake up in the early hours soaking wet and cranky!

foxybrown · 11/05/2007 22:29

That's such a pain in the arse BZ! I'm trying to get my stuff back off someone I thought understood I'd need it back, but she's not been at all forthcoming (infact I think she passed it on again!)

Neighbours are a pain in the arse. Mind you, I don't have to listen to me screaming at 7.30 am every morning! That would drive me mad.

NattyThomasandEllen · 11/05/2007 22:30

cant sleep
i have dreadful neighbors.. they have been converting basement into a flat.. hammering and drilling. starting as early as 7.30 and often not finishing till 9

foxybrown · 11/05/2007 22:31

We used to have the best neighbours - we'd have an open door, our boys would run up there and they looked after them in the early hours when DD was born. They've all moved out now and have been replaced by rude, sullen twenty-somethings who leave fag ends around.

hollyandalice · 11/05/2007 22:31

Welcome back natty! Make yourself a warm milky drink and take it to bed with a good book!

BadZelda · 11/05/2007 22:32

for all your neighbours. Had a terrible neighbour in the last place we lived - it was a great relief to be shot of her.

foxybrown · 11/05/2007 22:33

I'm off to bed with my milky drink!

night all, sleep well xx

BadZelda · 11/05/2007 22:34

oh there goes the laptop battery...bedtime for me I think. Hope all you lovely ladies get a good night's sleep, zx

hollyandalice · 11/05/2007 22:34

Me too! Horlicks I think! I have finally got my toast, so I'm going to finish it and watch Jonathan Ross in bed!

Night all xxx

foxybrown · 11/05/2007 22:39

Phil and Fern are on. Might have to stay up now! Saddo that I am!

NattyThomasandEllen · 11/05/2007 22:43

okay got my horlicks... and am in bed on laptop watching JRoss too.. we can be saddos together lmao

hollyandalice · 11/05/2007 22:52

Oh, I'm up too! I love Phillip and Fern! I had to have some more toast! I am looking for dd's birthday present online, so I am doing something constructive as well!

BadZelda · 12/05/2007 07:17

Of course no one else is dumb enough to be up at this hour on a Saturday are they? Painting with DD. My mum is taking her to the aquarium today with her cousin..which could be brilliant or terrifying (my mum doesn't really do kids). We shall see!

sneeple · 12/05/2007 07:37

Hi Bad Zelda,

I am up! I get too hungry for lie ins at the moment ;) I've only just started reading mumsnet again (after joining in February) as FINALLY on proper maternity leave and have a bit of time

have enjoyed catching up with June mums to be ;D I'm due on 31st May according to NHS but 4th June according to me....

Cats seem to have sprayed all over the house overnight so thinking about waddling around with cat smell remover at some point soon... fun ;)

Jo

foxybrown · 12/05/2007 07:47

Hello Sneeple, welcome back and hurrah for your maternity leave!

Am very, very impressed at you painting with DD at this hour. Mine are colouring in on their own (the benefits of 3!) and I am doing my weekly shop online. Well, I should be but I appear to be on here again...

Swimming and barbeque today, so shouldn't be on here until much later. That't the theory anyway!

My good news is that I had an uninterrupted nights sleep! Yea! 11 pm to 6.30 am straight through!

Have a good day everyone!

sneeple · 12/05/2007 08:10

Hi Foxy

wow swimming and a bbq! sounds tiring hope you have a good day

jo

foxybrown · 12/05/2007 08:35

But I am only 33 weeks feeling like I still have forever to go!
