@Sals27 I'm 19+2 with an anterior placenta and I've felt nothing :( I did feel like 3 little prods yesterday and wondered if that might be the baby but haven't felt anything since. It's crap!

LLO7 · 12/04/2018 16:38

I didn't feel my first until over 20 weeks, 15+5 now and haven't felt anything that was obviously baby- just some bubbles that could be baby but could be gas BlushGrin

dingdongdigeridoo · 12/04/2018 17:17

I’m nearly 20 weeks and nothing yet. Honestly can’t remember when I felt movement with my first. I’m not too worried just yet.

LostMyBaubles · 12/04/2018 18:07

Bubbles could be baby!

Heard heartbeat today
Seems very fast compared to the lady who was in before me (small corridor so could hear everything lol)
Mw listened for less than 10secs after finding h.b and that was it.

Will do until next week lol

Super excited as we find out but also ive got around 7years of boy clothes accumulated at home! So if im blue then will need to sort out, wash and put away

If pink can chuck the lot out!

coastalchick · 13/04/2018 10:28

Finally got 20 week scan date - 2 May when will be 20+2. Just wanting it to bloody well hurry up!!

LLO7 · 13/04/2018 12:24

I know that feeling, my 20 week scan I will be 21+2 seems so long to go between scans doesn't it! At least the second half of pregnancy you can feel baby moving and kicking so know all is okay :)
I disappeared from the midwives system so didn't have my booking in appointment until 12 weeks and had my first scan at 14+5 so this whole pregnancy seems to be a little off track!

Birdie963 · 13/04/2018 12:26

Anyone having awful pregnancy constipation? I'm 16 weeks on Sunday and yesterday I ate too much bread and my stomach was not happy 😯 trying to stand up was agony and I was so crampy. I'm not worried as I had these type of pains when I was pregnant with my daughter, but god its painful. It's probably my own fault for eating too much bread though ha

dingdongdigeridoo · 13/04/2018 18:47

I’ve been blocked at times. Usually when I don’t have enough water! I’ve also had to start eating smaller, more regular meals as I’ve had the worst bloating and stomach pains some evenings after dinner. Ugh, so much fun.

Birdie963 · 13/04/2018 20:08

Actually I didn't drink as much water yesterday as I usually do so that's a good point!! I worry how bad it's gonna get when I get super big and there is a lot of weight on my bladder and bowels ha

LostMyBaubles · 14/04/2018 19:49

Yup been constipated a few times

When is everyone making start on hosp bags?
I like to slowly get things together

I will be taking a small-medium style carry on suitcase thing

Will start to empty it (been used as sons hosp bag for when hes been ill)
And slowly fill it up when I see things on offer

Jfw82 · 15/04/2018 18:04

Hospital bag from 34idh weeks I guess and drawing from experience on what I didn't use last time to reduce what I take!

dingdongdigeridoo · 15/04/2018 18:09

I’m hopefully home birthing, so will have an emergency hospital bag, but not as much stuff as before.

DS was born in under two hours so I had no use for all the cartons of juice, snacks, magazines and miscellaneous crap I’d packed. I barely had time to get my knickers off.

LostMyBaubles · 15/04/2018 19:10

I didn't take any snacks in as i kept in a while before having youngest. If i got hungry would grab a brew at hosp

Im in and out of hosp during pregnancy so like to have 1 packed in case

Ahh home birth sounds nice

LostMyBaubles · 18/04/2018 16:17

Hope everyone is ok

Hollymchollyface · 18/04/2018 21:14

Hi everyone, I posted a bit at the beginning but haven't been on for ages because I have been having a stressful time and needed a break from mn.
I'm officially due on Oct 5th now (dd was 28th Sept originally ) but my ds was early so I think I'll have a September baby. Who knows anyway, they come when they are ready !
I'm 16 weeks now and finally feeling better and less stressed. I think the hormones have really affected me this time around.
We found out on Saturday that we're having another boy which I am really happy about ! Hope everyone is doing well, I will read through and try and catch up now.
Smile

Thistles24 · 18/04/2018 23:37

I'm quite surprised at how well I'm feeling, this pregnancy has been much easier so far than my previous 2. Have been in contact with a few children who have slapped cheek virus though, so waiting for blood test results to see if I'm immune to it or not. Have been told I'll have an extra scan at 24 weeks to check all is ok because of it. 2 weeks to go till 20 week scan, can't wait to see the baby again! Have most people found out what they're having? We didn't with our first 2 DC, but hope to this time.
I've got together a very basic hospital bag, I had a couple of unexpected overnight stays in my first pregnancies so would rather be prepared and have decent pyjamas ready (and ironed!!) rather than whatever DH picks out the drawer! I work at the hospital I'll be giving birth at though,so feels a bit strange that colleagues will be seeing me in nightwear! Hope everyone else is keeping well.

Fia256 · 19/04/2018 04:07

All ok over here too! 20 weeks today, feeling constant movement but suffering with SPD already quite badly! Also wide awake at 4am currently as got a really tight belly that's very uncomfortable! Think it's down to all the cheese and crackers I had before bed though! (Normal cheese, not anything we can't eat)

Isn't your scan soon Lost? I'm excited for you to find out what your having lol!

And congrats on anyone else who's found out recently! There seems to finally be a few more boys being added to a very small team blue so far lol!

Roeslein · 19/04/2018 05:38

20 week scan is tomorrow! We already know we are having a boy as we did the Harmony test. A bit stressed and hope all will be well with him.

I really hope I won't have to do the GTT, as I need to walk 30 minutes to get there and am scared I will feel light-headed or faint if I have to skip breakfast. It got a lot warmer here and I was struggling standing on the bus to work yesterday. I was borderline underweight before pregnancy, weight is on track and no blood relation with diabetes that I know of - don't have any risk factor really so I hope it won't be needed!

ShutTheFridgeUp · 19/04/2018 07:16

Today is 20 week scan day for me! Feeling a bit anxious about it, but mostly just excited!

LostMyBaubles · 19/04/2018 09:43

Yuuuuup scan today 😁😁😁😁 3.40pm!

Very excited.
20 weeks here too today.
Half way through!

blondie1001 · 19/04/2018 10:39

Eek - exciting - hope all the scans go well!

I had a consultant appointment yesterday to see if I can give birth in the MLU instead of in hospital after I retained the placenta last time and they've given me the thumbs up so that's good - not that I really minded either way.

mumallgirls · 19/04/2018 16:21

I hope everyone is doing well.

All ok over here too. I haven't had any bleeding in the last two weeks, very happy about it. I am still getting tightening every now and then. I have my 20 weeks scan next Wednesday. I am having quite heavy discharge though, hoping it is nothing.

LostMyBaubles · 19/04/2018 18:01

Heavy clear discharge? Mum
Hopefully its nothing

Had my scan and im team 💙 😁

I'll have 4 lads 😍
We did think might get an girl but I wasnt too convinced lol have a name picked out for boy too.

I have an anterior placenta
Which is also low lying

dingdongdigeridoo · 19/04/2018 18:49

Blimey Lost, four boys! Congratulations. You should try to get them to start a band when they’re older like Kings of Leon.

Scan for me tomorrow too. Nervous as I’ve not had much movement yet. Plus DS is absolutely convinced it’s a girl so he might be disappointed.

Fia256 · 19/04/2018 19:06

Ahh Lost that's lovely news! 💙 glad all was well too!
