dingdongdigeridoo · 04/04/2018 16:52

Try not to worry too much about feeling lots of movement. I’ve barely felt any yet. It’s early days.

I hope you get some reassurance soon. It must be so scary.

LostMyBaubles · 04/04/2018 18:33

Feels like period/ early labour pain.
My sis in law said this is how she started in prem labour
Wouldnt mind if i was over 24weeks 😔

Fia256 · 04/04/2018 18:53

@LostMyBaubles I've had pains a lot of today! To the point i worried and nearly phoned the midwife but the tailed off eventually! It is so horrible when you start to have worries like this at this stage

LostMyBaubles · 04/04/2018 19:14

Mine arent tailing off for long. Keep comimg back but I can feel baby (well feels like baby ad im typimg this)

LostMyBaubles · 04/04/2018 19:15

Fia glad they tailed off for you.
Fx it stays that way.
Past week has been horrendous.
My dad had a stroke and its been very stressful

kirinm · 04/04/2018 19:38

Sorry to hear about your dad Lost. I've had horrible pains today. Really uncomfortable and have had to breathe through them.

Thankfully the hospital called and I've got an appointment with a gynaecologist tomorrow. Fingers crossed that this is the start of them being able to solve the problem. And also keeping fingers tightly crossed it's not cancerous cells. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

LostMyBaubles · 05/04/2018 07:26

Kirin my mum had some 'changes to cells'

She had a blood test which was slightly raised and was sent to fast track cancer clinic. The consultant who saw her didnt think it was anything major but still examined her. So internal scan. Upon the scan they found some changes to cells on the cervix. I was with her. They burnt it all away and took samples so if it was pre cancer cells they had got rid of them.

A few hours later she drove me and my eldest to his hosp appt around 4/5 hour round trip!

Thankfully the results came back clear.

Fx its similiar for you. Just changes rathet than pre cancer cells

LostMyBaubles · 05/04/2018 13:19

Been to have bloods done.
The mw didnt really have time to do a hb check but have felt baby move all night and some today

I asked her if its too early for Braxton hicks she looked a little puzzled and said if it continues to ring triage and epu up

LiitleAce · 06/04/2018 10:59

Can I join please?

Due September 18th, first timer.

UppityStitch · 07/04/2018 11:36

Hi everyone,

Been AWOL for a while due to too much going on. My Dad lives overseas (9-10 hour flight) and has had a suspected mini stroke, but he's refusing to go for follow up appointments/tests. His wife has now had a mini stroke of her own last week. DS has been in A&E with breathing problems due to tonsillitis complications and I've been generally rough in general. I'm also not sleeping due to worry and being super bunged up.

I'm glad to hear everyone else is doing okay and there's lots of bumps and kicks etc.

Frantically trying to catch up with everything I've missed

LostMyBaubles · 08/04/2018 12:13

Uppity, im really sorry you've been through all that.
Hope your fam are better now.
My dad had a stroke. Absolutely devastating

Im still getting pain.
Lots of tightenings
Period back pain

Katsanddogs · 08/04/2018 15:21

lost hope you're feeling better. It's not too early for braxton hicks. I've had lots of cramping on and off and when my midwife friend repeated my scan to get a decent picture at 13 weeks she said she could see a braxton hick. I know it's hard but try to relax, the more you worry the worse it'll be.

Anyone else still vomiting daily?? Trying not to rely on cyclizine all the time but at over 16 weeks I'm starting to feel pretty rough. My blood pressure is getting lower every appointment too.
Think I'm starting to feel some little movements though which is lovely

LostMyBaubles · 08/04/2018 15:31

Ive just been resting really as when I start doing anything it starts up again.
The crampy period feeling is almost constant and has been for a few days now.

Will be heading to hosp to get checked out as this is how i started with youngest. Prem labour 33weeks due to infection (once treated managed to hold everything off bit ended up in delivery room 2x)

Im not vomiting thankfully!

UppityStitch · 08/04/2018 20:15

Thank you @LostMyBaubles
My dad's wife is now out of hospital but my Dad is still doing that 'I'm fine (man thing)' and hasn't had himself checked over. I don't really fancy a 9-10 hour flight at just under 20 weeks with blood pressure issues.

I'm getting lots of period style cramps too and only what I can describe as a twingy cervix. I've got my 16 week consultant appointment on Wednesday so I'll ask then. My biggest issues are indigestion coupled with nausea plus being super bunged up at nighttime.

LostMyBaubles · 08/04/2018 22:39

My dad is the same but once he saw the facial droop he changed his tune
Now its been about 10 days he thinks hes bloody superman again

LostMyBaubles · 09/04/2018 09:58

Sat in epu
Baby hb is 162
Just waiting on mw to come back in

kirinm · 09/04/2018 10:10

Why are you in the EPU lost?

LostMyBaubles · 09/04/2018 12:41

All the pain, bleeding etc over the past week
Thankfully baby ok. Nice strong hb at 162
Cervix closed
They can see a medium to large area of cervical erosion which is where the bleed has been coming from

Swabs and urine sent off for testing

LostMyBaubles · 09/04/2018 12:41

After next thurs no longer need to go epu. Striaght to triage

kirinm · 09/04/2018 13:16

Good news that you've heard the heartbeat. Can they treat the erosion?

LostMyBaubles · 09/04/2018 13:39

They didn't mention being able to treat it?

Just said this is why and sent me off.
Can they treat it?

How are you getting on

kirinm · 09/04/2018 13:45

I've no idea if it can be treated I'm afraid. It's not what my issue has been. I'm okay thanks. I think I'm one week without a huge bleed which is good. I'm still paranoid but trying to get on with things as best as I can.

MrsCaecilius · 09/04/2018 16:57

Non-issue here, but is anyone else finding that their nipples are constantly erect? I'm having to wear scarves at work to cover them as that are rather obvious!!

UppityStitch · 09/04/2018 17:13

I really hope they can do something for you @LostMyBaubles and it's great you got to hear the heartbeat again.

I hope this is the last of the bleeding for you @kirinm. How many weeks are you now?
