September 2018: #3! Early scans and booking in... it's all getting very real!

For those of us with September 2018 due dates

Aaaaargh 12 week scan today and I'm crapping myself. I haven't had an early scan so I have literally no idea what's in there. It's not until 3pm - I don't think I'm going to get much work done this morning.

Oooh so exciting Blondie! I'm 12 weeks tomorrow but my scan isn't for another week feels like foreeeeever!

I know they say immune system is low when you're pregnant but I seem to get everything going right now, which is so unlike usual me! But I feel so ill and tired all the time it's hard to know what's actual illness and what's just pregnancy!

Anyone else have an aversion to the shower? Everytime I have one I throw up straight after. Jellybean prefers a bath!

All good - EDD was brought forward to 25 August (bank holiday weekend as she helpfully pointed out). It was amazing to see it kicking about!

Wow! She / he looks like a proper baby now! So you're an August mama! Did you have the nuchal translucency testing or not bother?

Yeah I was a bit surprised because I thought I knew when I ovulated. I went for all the screenings!

Are you officially in the second trimester now then? God I'm jealous of that!! Congratulations. Glad everything went well.

just remembered you had a loss around the same time as me on the October board. Remembering that and seeing you've made it to the second trimester with a healthy little baby has made me cry.

I have a real living baby inside me 😮😮 so was shocked haha! Measuring 12+2 despite being 100% on ovulation and even implantation date! Guess it's just big?! so due date is 28/08/18. It's staying in until September though 😂. So happy. Baby wasn't cooperating to get a good pic but the sonographer was lovely and he asked me to go for a wee and come back to try and get a better one. It's the best we could do!

Lovely scan pics! And how crazy that you've both been moved to August dates. Im jealous that you've gained a week. Congratulations on the healthy happy babies! Can't wait to see more scan pics over the next few weeks, love them.

Contacted my midwife earlier and I'm not even on the bloody system yet for a twelve week scan. She said she'd chase it up and get back to me but nothing so far. I want the screening tests so don't want to let it go too far.

Ahhh congrats on the scans both! I literally cannot believe we've all got to this stage already! It felt like 12 weeks would take 12 months when I first got my bfp, and now here we all are, start of the 12 week scans!

Is anyone else finding their anxiety is almost doubling the closer they are getting to their scans? I'm relieved I've got this far but the thought of the scan scares the life out of me!
