Anyone else having a nightmare concentrating at work? I spend all day Googling random baby-related stuff, panicking about my scan and trying not to fall asleep!

@blondie1001 I spent half my time thinking 'bloody hell, am I actually pregnant??!'

Which isn't helping my productivity...

Waiting for my booking in and there’s a guy in the waiting room who has a cold and keeps snorting. Constantly. How has his wife not killed him? I want to scream ‘blow your bloody nose!’ at him.

Not twee at all I'm a photographer and shoot those kind of sessions

Namechange I'm also getting very out of breath.
Went to loo and then got into bed and I was panting like a dog as I was so out of breath 😒 not very sexy lol.
Thankfully feeling loads better still taking all the meds religiously as I don't want to get bad again. I still get that sickly feeling but thankfully not being sick..

even managed a very good session last night which left me worrying in the morning if it was too much

I'm afraid I'm out ladies. Had some bleeding this morning and been to EPU and no heartbeat. Was nearly 9 weeks so thought I was nearly there..... hasn't really sunk in yet. Have to go back tomorrow for procedure. Best of luck to all of you and desperately hope no more of you have to go through it xxxxx

Thanks ladies. This thread shows the great side of MN. Thankfully DH has been with me throughout and am now cuddled up on the sofa with ddog whilst DH brings me endless tea and chocolate. DM is coming up tomorrow to look after DS whilst we go to hospital and is a great support. Am lucky to have them and a fab little boy as well so trying to count my blessings rather than dwelling on what may have been. Not easy though! Thanks again for all your kind messages xx

Oh Maxi I'm so sorry to read your news. It is devastating especially when you start to get to the stage where you think you're in the clear. I found the surgery very straightforward and my physical recovery time was very quick. Emotionally it took me longer but it sounds like you've got some good support around you. Wishing you lots of love x

I've been out of the loop for a bit. I feel like I've barely been hanging on by my fingernails most days. If I'm not sleeping I'm trying not to vomit. I now regret wishing to be sick at 6 weeks. On a brighter note I had my second EPAU scan today. Tiny heartbeat flickering away and they've moved my due date up a day so now I'm 8+5. They also found a cyst. The radiographer kept asking me over and over if I've been in pain. Her insistence did worry me a little. Hopefully it shrinks.

@UppityStitch I've got a large one and someone else on here also has one which is even bigger so don't worry you aren't alone xx it's good if you haven't had much pain!

@Fia256 I've had back pain from around 5/6 weeks but that appeared to be caused by my UTI. I still have twinges on my left side even though the antibiotics are finished. They checked again today and there's no infection so who knows. Exactly 4 weeks to my 12 week scan so I'll find out what's happened to it.

I've had my scan appointment through, its 3 weeks today so I'll be 12+4. Can't wait to see how its hopefully grown.

So sorry Maxi. Really difficult news.

@Brownbear84 They did an external/abdominal scan. We saw the head and arms as well as a heart beat. I was surprised by how much we could see.

I started course of anti-biotics today for strep throat. Feel completely drained. Off on midterm and whole house is on anti-bs. Got tested for uti also.

@jubbablub I had a scan today and saw loads! It's little heart flickering on the screen,arms and legs the lot! Measuring 8+5 really enjoyed seeing it and feel lot better now. Had my booking appt too,12 week scan is 13th march. Couldn't get my bloods though tried both arms so back to hospital next week xx

Maxi I’m so sorry t hear that sad news. I think you start to allow yourself to believe it around now don’t you and so it’s even more heartbreaking :(

Brown bear I had a scan yesterday too and measured 8+2 and could see lots more than at 6+5. I had spotting yesterday for the first time so was so relieved that I had a scan booked and it was ok!! Xx

mamaiFifi Hope you feel better soon. Everyone but toddler ds is sick in our house too. It's miserable. DD has her birthday party here on Saturday, dreading it, just praying she's well enough as she'll be devastated if we have to cancel. Need to be well enough tomorrow to do a party food shop.
