Yay @kirinm brilliant news and what a lovely little picture!

I've got half an hour to go till mine! Got here too early so sat waiting feeling sick with nerves!

What a gorgeous little cutie kirin they're a proper little baby now! The progression on the scans is amazing.

I'm so dizzy from this cold and the fact I can't eat anything but beige. Not looking forward to midwife. Somehow I worry about being told off for getting pregnant as if I'm a teenager living at home, not a married nearly 30 year old.

Funny you should say that @CuppaSarah , at every appointment I've had I've been asked "was it planned?" And despite being 39 and married it makes me bristle!!

My booking in was funny. When we register there is a box for how many pregnancies you've had - so I put 7 - but no option for live births, miscarriages etc. Midwife turned up on Monday expecting a housefull and was pleasantly surprised!

@CuppaSarah I know what you mean. I feel like a naughty teenager despite being married, nearly thirty and living with my husband and children.

I was an hysterical mess when I got to the EPU and they were just awesome. So kind. The doctor said as soon as he found the heartbeat he would turn the screen round and then do the measurements afterwards. A nurse held my hand as I was balling my eyes out. My last miscarriage was picked up about this time. I wasn't expecting to be allowed to take a picture. I think they were just being super nice.

All went really well thank god! Measuring bang on for dates, 9+5. She actually gave me some extra pictures as the scan was so clear! You can see the outline of baby's foot in this picture! So relieved!

@cuppasarah I haven't had early scans. I don't have any reason to be referred for one and I'm not paying for one.

Is anyone swelling yet??

My feet are already starting to swell. Well my ankles
My socks have left marks on them which have never have before and only had them on a few hours

The past few nights been getting headaches and eyesight has been going a bit blurry but not all the time

After finding out today that my booking appointment won’t be until 12-14 weeks and scan a week after that, I’m going to book another private scan at 10 weeks (2 weeks time). It’s only £40 and it’s worth it all day long to have reassurance before 14/15 weeks!! Xx

Been feeling quite rough the last couple of days. I'm not eating much and when I do it's junk.

All I'm looking forward to is tonight's dinner which will be a pizza with lots of salty olives on top

@LostMyBaubles I thought my left foot was slightly swollen the other day but it seems okay now. I'll mention it when I visit the EPAU next Wednesday.

All booked in, it was a surprisingly enjoyable experience. Not at all judgy, just nice and calm. I was even offered a home birth with my history! So looks like I should be able to go on the midwife led unit if all goes well.

Weirdly though I now have to wait a week for my referral to a surgery in the next town for my blood test and to finally get my scan date. Finally it's a little real. I even got given some free pregnacare in my bounty pack.

Uppity it was both feet, like my socks were tight. The ones that were ok the day before (only wear them to wear with my trainers to drive Lol and that's only for school runs)

lost even though it's winter have you been getting quite warm? Swelling isn't too much of a worry if you've been getting hot. But don't hesitate to seek medical advice. I got fobbed off a lot when I had pre eclampsia and I wouldn't want the same to happen to anyone else.

No, Not been getting too warm. Well this morning when it happened anyway. I had been to Drs, picked dc meds up and home. Hubby had heating on his side I turned mine off as it makes me feel sick lol

I will he keeping a close eye on it. Might try and find out who the local midwife is and contact them to see what they say

Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a while but had to come on to say awww to all these lush scan pictures! I'm holding out for my first one at 12 weeks...I majorly need a carrot on a stick to get me through this horrid m/s. Only four weeks to power through! Cries but it will be worth all the yuck to see the little bean! X

Anyone else feeling cold? I just can seem to get warm at the moment. Sat in front of open fire last night and everyone else was boiling and I had a blanket over me!!

Please do be cautious of those groupon scans, that's what I did, I guess they're cheap for a reason.
Had my booking app on wednesday so just waiting for my scan appointment.
I'm the same with food. I've just taken a bite out of everything we have and decided I want none of it! Just want kinder eggs and croissants.
