@LostMyBaubles glad I'm not the only one. I'd kill for a buttons Easter egg. Any idea where they're selling the Cadbury's ones now?

Shook2018 · 08/02/2018 22:40

Lovely scan news Mona and good luck for tomorrow Kirin!

I haven't had one either, impatiently waiting for my 12 week in two weeks time!

My diet is abysmal and I don't care TBH just eating what stays down!

dingdongdigeridoo · 08/02/2018 23:22

My diet is awful too. Ovia is telling me to eat 8 portions of fruit and veg a day. Hahahaha. I’m too knackered to cook properly at the moment.

CuppaSarah · 09/02/2018 06:37

My diet is bad too. I've gone off everything but crisps and McDonald's

Zoey36 · 09/02/2018 07:23

I'm getting a dull pain when walking but as soon as I stop, the pain does?! It's on my front just about an inch below my knicker line. Does anyone else have this?!

CuppaSarah · 09/02/2018 07:49

Like on your pubic bone? I get that too I think. Not sure what causes it though.

This bloat is getting I normally have a basically flat tummy. But look at it!! Fortunately it's not bump looking, just oh dear hasn't she gained a lot of weight lately looking.

Fia256 · 09/02/2018 08:02

@CuppaSarah I'm the same! Am I right in thinking this is your 3rd or have I got that mixed up with someone else? I'm on number 3 (kind of number 4) and I'm so much more bloated this time around! Also, when I've found the heartbeat, a lot of the time unless my bladder is completely empty, I've found it way above the pubic bone. So I do think your body makes way much earlier when you've done it a few times already which makes the bloating worse if the baby is already higher than normal. If that makes any sense at all Grin

Zoey36 · 09/02/2018 08:03

Yes on the bone. Glad I'm not alone!

Namechangedtoscream · 09/02/2018 08:26

Good news those who've had scans and good luck those who have them today. I wish I didn't need so many scans it would make life so much easier!

I told my boss yesterday and she was furious. So I guess my contract won't be being extended after mat leave then!

I had a horrible night last night woke up panicking about being heavily pregnant in the height of summer and seriously considered an abortion. I hope my anxiety doesn't kick off I would like to enjoy this pregnancy eventually!

Namechangedtoscream · 09/02/2018 08:27

Oh and I'm WFH today but again no energy or motivation to do anything. Might be to do with the fact technically I've not eaten in weeks given that everything keeps coming back up

blondie1001 · 09/02/2018 08:38

Hope today's scans bring good news xxx

MoDip · 09/02/2018 08:48

Furious!?! what a horrible reaction, that’s totally awful for you! Don’t let your boss get you down, obviously an idiot! X

Fia256 · 09/02/2018 09:01

Namechanged what a bitch!!! She has no right to feel furious or at least let you know that that's how she's feeling! I'd be furious with her reaction!

CuppaSarah · 09/02/2018 09:03

Fia yup this one is my third, what happens with fourth or fifth babies?! Do you get a bump before the pee stick dries?

NameChanged what a nasty boss, as scary as the position it puts you in is, you're better off long term going to an actually supportive workplace. Your boss has shown her true colours. This baby is so much more important than any job. Don't let her steal any of your joy, once you're able to relax more.

LostMyBaubles · 09/02/2018 09:28

Mona I've seen diff ones at Tesco- KitKat, rolo, Smarties for 75p atm I've not seen buttons yet but I haven't really looked

I've defo getting more and more bump like every day. It's my 4th and like fia said everything moves up quicker etc eith the last one I had proper bump by around 12ish weeks and I started feeling baby move earlier than that. Not full on big movements but more tiny little thumps lol

Namechange that's disgusting is there anyone above her that you could report her to?

Good luck to all those with scans today

Fia256 · 09/02/2018 09:44

Haha cuppa! I don't plan on finding out that's for sure Grin

I feel really nervous for my scan. Which is probably silly as found the heartbeat super clear yesterday! Struggled this morning but then it had moved over towards the other side but now my anxiety is doubting if that even was the baby (rational me knows it was but I just feel like of course today will go wrong)! Not till midday either so I'm hoping times goes fast!

LostMyBaubles · 09/02/2018 09:50

Fia hope the time passes quickly for you! And fx scan goes smoothly

MonaTheMoaner · 09/02/2018 10:29

@Zoey36 I get that dull pain too, especially after getting up from a seated or laying down position to walk. How many weeks are you?

@Namechangedtoscream what a dickhead. Is this legal? Is there HR or a union you can speak to?

@Fia256 good luck! I'll be checking back about half past to see how you got on!

@CuppaSarah Third baby here too (but I'm a big lady at a size 18-20) and the bottom of my tummy is definitely bigger. My tights don't go up over it anymore and I need to use the hair tie method on my jeans. Thank god for leggings and stretchy waist skirts right now.

LostMyBaubles · 09/02/2018 10:51

Mona I'm similar size to you. Have they been having a hard time scanning you? Apart from the tilted uterus. I remember from scans in last pregnancy they adding notes about maternal hibitis or what ever it was lol

Namechangedtoscream · 09/02/2018 11:05

I'm not going to get upset by it I only started the job in December and I don't think I will be going back after mat leave. I'm burned out and want to enjoy my family before my eldest gets too big/leaves for uni in 5 years.

Namechangedtoscream · 09/02/2018 11:06

This will be #2 for me and my belly has already gone pop. Probably because I've lost so much weight

kirinm · 09/02/2018 11:30

Good news here. Baby measuring 2 days ahead with a strong heartbeat of 179bpm. Even got a picture

September 2018: #3! Early scans and booking in... it's all getting very real!
Namechangedtoscream · 09/02/2018 11:32

Great news! That's another girl in here then if the old wives tales are to be believed!

dingdongdigeridoo · 09/02/2018 11:34

My jeans started to feel tight at about 5 weeks, and belly is pretty much popped out now! I don't think it's just weight gain, as it starts under my boobs, so it's a round shape. I'm wearing a lot of stretchy jeans, and hanging around in maternity leggings at home. So comfy.

Oh wow kirinm, that's really cool. You're lucky to get a picture.

blondie1001 · 09/02/2018 11:50

Yay @kirinm - fantastic news!
