Sorry to everyone who is experiencing stress and anxiety at the moment! And so sorry for your loss @pumpkin.
I was very stressed out earlier in the week, Dr did a blood test and said HCG was as expected for 7 weeks and he wasn’t worried so I feel better for now. Going to have a private scan next Saturday.

Sals27 · 03/02/2018 12:30

Another with good news. Also bang on with dates and we have a flickery heart beat. Feels so much more real now!

HannahJH · 03/02/2018 12:41

Good news here too. Couple of days out but good strong HB.

Massive sympathies to those struggling. I’ve been there before and it’s all consuming :’( xx

UppityStitch · 03/02/2018 13:23

Sorry to hear about all you you cramping and/or spotting.

I hope it's not too bad @Namechangedtoscream

My back pain is unbearable today so I've given 111 a call. They've referred me to the out of hours service so I'm heading there in 2 hours. The guy on the phone advised me to take ibuprofen, straight after after asking me if I take blood thinners (which is a yes) 😳

MonaTheMoaner · 03/02/2018 13:27

So happy for you all with good news!

Praying the cramping is normal Namechangedtoscream. Do you still have bleeding?

DH told MIL and FIL I'm pregnant today. They said they want nothing to do with this baby just like our other children. Disgusted, hurt but not surprised.

Namechangedtoscream · 03/02/2018 13:50

No bleeding no sickness normal boobs. Preparing for the worst on monday.

Sals27 · 03/02/2018 14:09

Heres my little bean.

Apparently I have a backwards tilted uterus, she said its nothing to worry about. I don't really know much about that so going to do some googling!

Sals27 · 03/02/2018 14:18

Mona i missed your last post. I'm so sorry your ILs reacted like that. They sound like really awful people.

CuppaSarah · 03/02/2018 14:27

Yay for good scans! Really pleased they've gone so well today. Sals27 it's already a tiny proper baby!

Mona fuck them, your children are lucky not to have such vile people in their lives. I really feel for your dh though, so unfair on him. But he's lucky to have 3(maybe even 4) lovely ladies looking out for him. Your pils can go in the naughty twat corner for now.

Sals27 · 03/02/2018 14:51

CuppaSarah I know, its surreal. I keep looking at the photo amazed that its growing inside of me. It looks like it has two heads in the photo but I was assured its one head and a yolk sac 😂

MonaTheMoaner · 03/02/2018 15:06

Love that scan Sals. I have s tilted uterus too and apparently according to the doctor the only difference is blurrier scans this early as it's harder to see and more back pain.

blondie1001 · 03/02/2018 16:32

Congratulations to all the scans - lovely news!

My heart goes out to those of you that are wondering what’s going on this weekend - really hope you get some good news soon.

Mona they sound truly awful - why are they being like that? Hope you’re ok xx

UppityStitch · 03/02/2018 16:58

Back from the out of hours doc. They think I've got some sort of sciatica plus a nasty UTI (the test results weren't clear but I've got cloudy urine). I'm a bit concerned that I'm only 7 weeks today and have already had flu, a throat infection, sciatica, now a UTI and I'm on my second dose of antibiotics. I just feel it's a lot in such a short time.

Mrsssmith11 · 03/02/2018 17:05

Sorry for all those not having a happy time.

I'm exhausted today. Absolutely can hardly function exhausted. I was in bed super early, but up early to take dd to gymnastics for 9.

Nixen · 03/02/2018 17:24

My scan went well too! Still dating 3 days behind though, exactly as I was at my last scan! So I’m 9w 5d instead of 10w... so baby was 1mm too small to do the harmony test today! I’ve got to go back on Friday. So today was a bonus scan! Heard the heart beat at a lovely 176bmp and saw the wee one moving about and wiggling their arms! Amazing to seeGrin

CuppaSarah · 03/02/2018 18:42

Uppity you've been through so much in the last few weeks, I'm sure baby is fine, you must be exhausted after all this though.

Congratulations Nixen thrilled your scan went well! Is this at Royal Berkshire? If you've dealt with them yet, how do you find them?

I currently have a cold sore looking rash from where I'm drooling in my sleep and my upper lip hair has darkened considerably. Grin I'm a right picture.

Nixen · 03/02/2018 18:49

Hi Cuppa, no this was at the FMC in London, we are paying for the Harmony privately. My only experience at the Royal Berks was during my miscarriage last summer, and that was at the EPU. I have my first midwife appt on Wednesday but it’s at a local children’s centre so not sure when I’ll first be at the Royal Berks tbh!

RedRobin7 · 03/02/2018 19:30

@Nixen and @CuppaSarah You must be local to me... I'll be Royal Berks too, hopefully! Fingers crossed!

Nixen · 03/02/2018 19:33

Where are you RedRobin? I’m in RDG and Cuppa is in Wokingham. Maybe we could all meet up when the wee ones are here. Would be nice to know some local mums.

RedRobin7 · 03/02/2018 19:40

@Nixen I'm right between the two of you in Winnersh! Yes that would be lovely Smile I'm due 29th Sept. Still waiting for my first midwife appointment in Wokingham.

CuppaSarah · 03/02/2018 20:00

Oh how exciting! We must meet up! RedRobin getting in to see the midwife is a nightmare here, if your referral takes.longer than two weeks let me know, I'll give you the number I used to get hold of the midwifery team in the end. Although I think I'm giving birth in Frimley Park again, I'm curious about Royal Berkshire.

How perfect, there's a few of us, who needs nct!

RedRobin7 · 03/02/2018 20:12

@CuppaSarah Oh dear, I thought when it said it can take 7 days for them to come back to me that it was a long time.. sounds like I could be waiting longer! My surgery gave me two numbers but they both just have voicemails to leave a message. Hopefully I will hear something this week.

Sorry if you have already responded to this... I forget which of the two threads I've posted in and who responded to me Blush Did you have a flu jab? My surgery said they're not offering them. I think it's very odd we aren't prioritised. I was unwell the whole of January with 3 different things so my immune system is definitely very low. Going to go to Sainsbury's to see if they're still doing them. Just waiting for the last of my cold to clear up first!

CuppaSarah · 03/02/2018 20:18

I haven't had it personally. I react quite badly to them and decided to avoid it while in early pregnancy. But then I haven't had morning sickness anything like I did the last two pregnancies, so I might get it in the next week or two. Probably try and book it while I do the shopping, let me know if Sainsburys are doing them still!

MonaTheMoaner · 03/02/2018 20:51

Pretty much symptomless again at 9+2. Painful nipples when poked but other than that, it's all fine. I should be pleased but I'm worried! Had a scan last Monday so I'm assured everything was fine at 8+4 but I guarantee I'll be booking in for another scan at 10 weeks to assure myself some more.

Please don't let me complain about being skint. This baby with my anxiety is pretty awful for my bank balance.

Is anyone else suffering from mood swings? I get upset easily and then find myself getting really mad and irritable
