September 2018: #3! Early scans and booking in... it's all getting very real!

For those of us with September 2018 due dates

Glad your spotting has stopped and you have a scan today Pumpkin I've got everything crossed for you.

Mona is there anything you can take or do for your pain? Or are you expected to just suck it up? Whcih seems incredibly cruel if you are.

Lost hows your ds getting on today? Hope he's a lot better and you've caught up with some sleep.

The variety in peoples early care is pretty interesting! I know we all get the same, yet somehow the way each trust achieves it is entirely seperate. Bit weird, but has anyone else noticed their leg hair has started growing at a crazy rate? I also have gone from slightly wavy non frizzy hair(on my head I mean) to frizzy, curly, volumous stuff. Everyone thinks I've had my hair treated. It gets greasy super quick too. My greasy, yet still dry, frizzy, giant hair. I am not glowing.

His temp when he woke up was 37.2 and the last time he had paracetamol was before he went to sleep so the antibiotics are working thankfully.

Was so worried a few days ago about mmc as my sickness had gone away (while having max dose of cyclizine) so 1 day I missed 2 doses.
Fml sickness came back very quickly

I was sick so forcefully yesterday it felt like it was going to come out of my eyes!

@cuppasarah glowing I am most certainly not! I can't wait for the energetic pretty bump stage! Currently just a spotty, hairy, spewy, belchy, moaning bundle of wobble poor DH!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one not exactly glowing I've had a breakout of teenage spots, my hair has been needing washing every day because it looks so greasy. And I swear I have a huge bump already. I'm on the plumper side anyway and this is baby number 2 so I've been told that your bump develops a lot quicker to start with.

And what is with the cravings!!!! I got off lightly with dd. About 11 last night I really wanted kfc hot wings. I don't usually like spicy food, but they were all I could think about! I was seriously considering waking DH to go and get some but I googled and ours shuts at 10:30, not that he could have gone anyway because he was on call for work and kfc is too far away. I'm going to see my mum later and will get some do lunch, im really looking forward to them!

I love the weird cravings cuz when you get the food you want it’s so good!!!!!

Nope not glowing here either! 7 weeks and I'm so bloated and constipated I feel like a bloody whale!! Trousers are already getting tight but think it's the bloat rather than bump. Luckily no sickness (didn't have any last tome either thankfully) but off food generally as everything tastes salty: even tea! Can't wait for the glowing stage!!

Hi! I just found out yesterday for sure that I am expecting baby number 3! According to dates..due 26/09/18 approx! 😊😊😊
Just wondering if anyone else experiences this..I have never in any of my pregnancies experienced morning sickness..but I could bet my bottom dollar that from 7-10pm I will be as sick as a pig! 😭

I’ve had KFC cravings too! I really want some boneless dippers and gravy. It doesn’t help that I keep seeing KFC adverts all the time and I’m constantly hungry. I wish I was craving a nice salad or fruit.

My first pregnancy, I commuted via tube everyday, and at my station there was a massive ad for McDonald’s nuggets. Used to make my stomach rumble every single time.

Lol at the KFC and McDonalds cravings - I'm having them bad but here's the thing - I'm a vegetarian! I gave up meat so easily it has never bothered me but now I'm drooling over steak!

Shook2018 im not veggie but can take or leave meat, in fact I’d much rather leave it. When I’m pregnant I want ALL THE MEAT!!

Has anyone else got a permanently horrible taste in their mouth? Grim.

CuppaSarah Paracetamol and at a very big push cocodamol at this stage. The midwife basically said to suck it up which is great.

Hoping for scan post soon. Nothing today but hopefully next week! Only had my booking in appointment Wednesday so I'm here expecting miracles when obviously it won't be through yet.

Still exhausted. A greasy, bloated, exhausted and knackered mess with sore nipples and a tendency to bite when provoked. I'm a joy. At least the sickness has gone. 9+1 and waiting very impatiently for scans and the next month to be over so we can get into the second trimester relatively unscathed.

DH told everyone in work last night we were expecting. Wasn't expecting him to tell so soon to be honest as he was a bit tentative about baby #3.

Ooh I went off meat with my first pregnancy 🤔 still not got my chorizo addiction back! Don't fancy much meat this time either so wonder if it's another girl!

I just wanted to say thank you for everyone's support. It was lovely to read your messages this morning. Sadly, the scan and blood test have confirmed it is not good news. We have had a miscarriage and are heartbroken.
