Don't feel silly, it's important you get checked. I had an ectropion with DD and would bleed after a long day on my feet etc- I was still advised to go in each time.

Secondsop · 20/01/2018 21:15

Glad the cyclizine is working @LostMyBaubles - Ive had it during both pregnancies for general nausea without vomiting and it certainly took the edge off it.

I’ve had an average day. On Saturdays while my husband is away, since I found I was pregnant I like to have a really lazy day with my kids - we get a mcdonalds breakfast on ubereats and then mooch around and I potter gently getting stuff done while they play. But today my mum was over at 7.30am - she was meant to be popping over later (she lives not far away and is over a lot, and is generally very helpful with the children although at the cost of me having to actively take steps to make sure she doesn’t overrule the way I do things for them / undermine my wishes) as she was going somewhere from the station near me in the afternoon and leaving her car at my house, and I knew she was coming a bit earlier as her washing machine was broken so she wanted to use mine, but I was not expecting her at 7.30am and to then have her around all day. I really treasure that time with the boys - I don’t get a lot of time just me and them except for bedtimes when my husband is away - we just do whatever we feel like and that special time is one of the few positives we have found of my husband being away so much and it’s just not the same if someone else is there.

Thank you second
I feel less pregnant but obv that's the meds kicking in.

Nausea at low level is hanging around but I can cope with that.

Tonight I've managed to wash up, Hoover 2 rooms and stick some laundry on! (On top of getting 3 boys ready for bed)
Past week or so I've only been managing boys bed.

Scan is tomorrow morning

1 hand feeling hopeful other than i feel like I know it's finished but hopefully it's not.
Stupid anxiety.

Will be having very stern words with that gp on Monday!

LostMyBaubles · 20/01/2018 21:56

Damn i posted too soon!

Second hopefully will be a lot better next weekend when she won't be round.
It's hard as you can't tell them to leave either!

HannahJH · 20/01/2018 23:13

Lostmybaubles I’m so pleased for you with how well the meds are working! That’s what I’ve been prescribed and sounds promising xx

Nixen · 21/01/2018 06:56

I have my scan at 10.30 and I’ve been awake since 6 feeling sick with anxietySad

LostMyBaubles · 21/01/2018 08:08

Thank you Hannah

They said have 1 10 mins before getting out of bed! Mornings are the worst for me so that's the true test!

Nixen good luck! Mine is at 10.50 and haven't been able to sleep

HannahJH · 21/01/2018 08:24

Good luck with the scans today, hope it’s good news!

I don’t tend to feel sick from when I wake till about 10 and then it’s horrible till after lunch. I would be happy if it continued to just be a couple of hours but I won’t hold my breath!!

Secondsop · 21/01/2018 08:32

Good luck with the scans @nixen and @LostMyBaubles .

Good luck @LostMyBaubles and @Nixen with your scans today!

I'm 7 weeks today and still not really experiencing much nausea. I was like this with my dd though, I didn't feel pregnant half the time! I can't believe I've got to 7 weeks already though! I found out at 8dpo, so I genuinely thought this was going to drag but it's not! Midwife appt on Tuesday too already! Does anyone else feel like it's going faster than you'd expected?!

Paranormalbouquet · 21/01/2018 09:29

Good luck with scans today! Look forward to updates!

This morning the nausea is back full force, and boobs suddenly very very tender (having been almost normal for the past week). I have the most inconsistent symptoms! The only truly consistent things have been fatigue and copious cervical mucus.

intelligentPutty · 21/01/2018 09:41

Good luck with the scans today. X

CuppaSarah · 21/01/2018 09:51

Good luck with the scans today!! I really hope they go well for you all.

I still haven't heard from the midwife about my booking in appointment, I'm going to be 8 weeks on Thursday and really want my scan to get booked in. I don't want to have to have it late. Maybe I should go back and find her twitter again and dm her after all. She'll definitely love me then.

kirinm · 21/01/2018 10:07

Good luck with the scans.

I'm feeling so knackered and lazy. I wanted to get out and exercise this weekend but so far I've not even managed to leave the house!

Shook2018 · 21/01/2018 10:14

@CuppaSarah mines the same, I'm 8+3 and haven't heard a thing. Just want someone to poke my belly and do something official lol!

Secondsop · 21/01/2018 10:43

I self-referred to Kings on Wednesday and got a letter on Friday with an appointment at the blood pressure midwives clinic in a week’s time, which I was impressed with. They’ve got all my notes from last time so I’m glad they accepted the referral.

Paranormalbouquet · 21/01/2018 10:48

I self referred at the start of the month and received appt a few days later. They did call to see if I’d consider going to my local hospital instead (only a little closer) but as I need the preterm clinic this time I’d rather have all my care in one place. Also I think you’d have to pay me to spend time in the postnatal ward in my local hospital again (although I accept it could be as bad in the other).

kirinm · 21/01/2018 10:50

I'm at Kings @Secondsop I got my booking in appointment and scan date within about 5 working days after self referring.

kirinm · 21/01/2018 10:51

@Paranormalbouquet are you at Kings too?

Paranormalbouquet · 21/01/2018 10:51

I’m at UCLH. Kings has a great reputation though, it’s just a bit far for me.

Fab news @Nixen how many weeks are you now?

Paranormalbouquet · 21/01/2018 10:56

@Nixen congrats!

HannahJH · 21/01/2018 10:58

Nixen that’s absolutely amazing. It’s bought back all the memories of that from my daughter after my MC.
