Seansgirl · 25/04/2007 22:54

Rias right - best not to read all that stuff. I bought a prg mag before xmas and scared myself half to death with it! We just know too much these days. Better go DH will be moaning otherwise!

Daisybump · 25/04/2007 22:57

Cheers ladies....she says as she heads for the drinks cabinet ...only kidding.

DKMA I've bumped your post to keep it in the public eye.....can't help as I've never broken anything..but ouch..sounds painful....surely if its all healed well there shouldn't be a problem??

OP posts:
Seansgirl · 25/04/2007 22:57

DKMA - I can't help you there I'm afraid. Perhaps nobody has answered as not many people have experience. As you know you become more flexible, and your pelvis moves to let the baby out anyway. Sure you'll be fine too.

Daisybump · 25/04/2007 22:57

right off to bed....I'll bump your post tomorrow again DKMA if no-one has responded by then....

Night All.

doggus · 25/04/2007 23:13

Hi daisy - on the booze thing, I am not drinking at all ONLY because I am on strong painkillers throughout pg so it's one risk factor too many. A good friend has been pg twice and she had a 'large' glass of wine every other night. No problems.

DKMAFME - ouch re pelvis. Hope someone can help.

Night night all.

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 25/04/2007 23:35

Thanks everyone!
And thanks for the 'bumping' thingie?
Night everyone!

hollyandalice · 26/04/2007 00:15

Am I being unreasonable...to want to rip my dp's head off and shit down his neck?!! If this snoring doesn't stop soon I'm going to kill him. Can't sleep in spare room any more as the though of the wee in the beds makes me want to puke and can't sleep on sofa as I can still hear him snoring through the ceiling! The only place I can sleep is on sofa cushions on dd's floor, highly uncomfortable! Sorry gonna stop my mad ranting now and go and sleep on the floor. Prob be back on here at 4.30 as normal xx

hollyandalice · 26/04/2007 06:33

Wow, sorry for my insane outburst last night! I was a bit pissed off and tired! Hope everyone slept well xx

annobal · 26/04/2007 07:08

You poor thing - hope you got some sleep...

DS2 was up at 5.30 - he goes back to sleep but I can't

Seansgirl · 26/04/2007 08:06

Holly, hope you managed to get some sleep in the end. No, I didn't think you were unreasonable being that annoyed I would be if DHs snoring was keeping me awake! Can you get DP to turn over the matresses? or is the wee on both sides? Just remebered got DDs matress protector from Matalan and was very cheap (and not noisy at all) it also tumble dries. Thinking of getting one for my bed soon too.

Does anyone have any ocado codes? fancy giving them a go as can't be arsed to shop and hate Tescos fruit and veg on the internet shop. I swear they have a different stock of fruit and veg that they can't sell in the shop and send it out on the internet shop.

Seansgirl · 26/04/2007 08:07

If I go to Matalan will report backprices for anyone who wants to get a protector as would highly recommend

annobal · 26/04/2007 08:13

If you register with Ocado, they often send you a special introductory offer thing - I will have a look and see if I have any...

Oooh - i just found this one...

Seansgirl · 26/04/2007 08:22

Cheers Annobal for that A shoppping we will go, a shopping we will go...... have fun at Covent garden. Don't forget your posh sunnies to hang around in looking super cool..... am off to swimming lesson with DD this morning and to DDs mates for tea, chat, playing in garden for kids and my friend is giving them tea too so no cooking! hooray!

derlor · 26/04/2007 09:16

morning all, Holly hope you are away back to sleep...
i had my usual 0350 internal wake up alarm again this morning, lay for a while, nearly got up but must have drifted back off - then DH got up at 0530 for work and i had the best 3 hours sleep i've had in ages - unfortunately DS was nearly late for school as we never woke up till 0830 -oops! poor wee mite has never moved so fast think he still half asleep as he walked out the door
it is a lovely day here today shame i have so much housework to do - i'm at the psychotic stage of realising that if i don't do some housework the WHOLE world will infact explode - you know????
DKMAFME - hope you get some answers re your pelvis...

sputnik · 26/04/2007 09:16

Shit you guys had a busy night last night.

I am of all of you actually going out and doing stuff. I am so bored with being in bed all the time and can report that there is a limit to how much MNing and pretend internet shopping a person can do.

Plus I keep reading that bedrest has not actually been proven to be effecive. Think I might be breaking some rules soon.

derlor · 26/04/2007 09:20

hey DKMAFME - i just checked to see how your thread was coming on what a nice person yesireallycan is - hope she can help you further.

derlor · 26/04/2007 09:27

morning sputnik, i'm sorry you are so bored bet you happy you're not doing my housework though!!!!!
bed rest is really shit i've been there before - the idea sems great but the novelty soon wears off huh!!
maybe you could design a website or something?!?!?!?!?! (always wondered how to do that )
Or you could write a book!
Oh - or we could all give you a list of things we need and you could be our personal internet shopper - hunting out the best bargins??
am i being at all helpful or just annoying???

Daisybump · 26/04/2007 09:29

Hey Sputnik...hows it going? when will they let you up and about again? My yterus has calmed itself somewhat, but still getting the odd painful one....too scared to call the hospital incase they take me in...think i'll just rest up as much as possible for another few weeks than start doing mad things...then I'll get to be first

DKMA...posted something that may or may not be helpful on your pelvis thread....

Holly...hope you manage to get some sleep today..is there anyone who can take DD for a couple of hours?

I'm sleeping mostly through the night and managing to get back to sleep if I wake up, but in the morning don't feel as though I've slept at all? Must be pretty restless.

HV coming today so better do a bit of tidying....

OP posts:
Daisybump · 26/04/2007 09:32

Great ideas Derlor...a book of Mumsnet anecdotes.....lots and lots of material to sift through to keep you busy Sputnik....think you might need permission from the contributors though....so some of the more feisty MNers might not agree!!

OP posts:
derlor · 26/04/2007 09:32

Daisy what exactly is your "yterus"?????
hope you're HV is nice -

Daisybump · 26/04/2007 09:33

Maybe it should be a WHYterus...as in WHY the fuck am I doing this again?.....
