Bugger...just checked my vertbaudet order and my shorts won't be despatched till 14th May FFS.....what's the f'ing point of that.....

Bunch of cocksuckers!!!!!

hollyandalice · 25/04/2007 20:25

That's poor daisy! You can cancel your order, just ring them up. Though I'd wait til the morning. If you ring at this time they take ages to answer and it goes to an Indian call centre. During the day they answer quicker and can understand what you say!

Personally, as someone who is ashamed to feed my child in public, i shall be knitting myself several of said capes in outfit co-ordiating shades (or maybe all in orange nylon)

Bring on the same law they have in Scotland where it's illegal to stop women BF in public and there'd be no need to suffocate your child to save Mrs Miggins at the next table's embarrassment.

Mine'll be out and I'll be proud!!

Waddling off now to park my fat arse on't sofa and have a cup of herbal tea since no-one's talking

OP posts:
fatcatkin · 25/04/2007 20:47

I am here!! It's taken me so long to catch up that I need to have a wee and a cuppa before continuing!

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 25/04/2007 20:51

Daisy - That too is a very nobbish thread!?

I have been watching the footie with DH, I pretend I don't like it - otherwise he'll have footie on 24/7, but I am quite into it (sssshh don't tell him!).
2nd half just started, will be back later...

fatcatkin · 25/04/2007 20:55

BOLLOCKS!!!
My fecking sister was here today when I was at work and i've just gone to make a cup of tea and she's used ALL the milk!!

I am so cross. I could cry. I know that's totally unreasonable but i'm feeling particularly stressed and hormonal at the minute. GRRRRR!

I'm going to bed in a big fat huff now. xx

Daisybump · 25/04/2007 20:58

Have some herbal, love...and take deep breaths......KWYM though....it's the little things like that that get me going at the mo...

hollyandalice · 25/04/2007 21:02

Another sly tip for first timers...when you run out of milk for your tea you may think that baby milk will do the job...it won't...it's disgusting!!

hollyandalice · 25/04/2007 21:05

Derlor, have the feckers removed your bag too?? I just looked to see how much it was up to and couldn't find it!

BadZelda · 25/04/2007 21:07

This is probably TMI - but I did once sneakily make a cup of tea with breastmilk for dh when he got home from work. He didn't actually notice the difference, but my guilt/glee was too strong to keep silent about it. I'm not proud.

annobal · 25/04/2007 21:09

Have had to slink off to bed as DH is now watching Chelsea - and he's a Man-u supporter!!! I suppose I have to forgive him as he bathed the kids, put them in bed, made me dinner and then a cup of tea and took out the rubbish. This way I also get to watch The Apprentice without anyone knowing

hollyandalice · 25/04/2007 21:09

I did that too BZ! He noticed!

annobal · 25/04/2007 21:09

LOL BZ - am going to store that one for future use...

TALLULAHBELLE · 25/04/2007 21:16

LOL on the breast milk - did once hear of a HV who very much enjoyed a freshly baked scone when visiting a new mum. Wasn't so keen when found out the special ingredient that had made them so light and fluffy -

annobal · 25/04/2007 21:17

Puts a whole new slant on spitting in the food doesn't it

annobal · 25/04/2007 21:31

Anyone else watching The Apprentice? WHERE do they find these people??? Who watches this crap

riabutterflew · 25/04/2007 21:35

phew, have caught up at last. Like the title - better than I would have suggested. Am not funny today, just irrational.

Thanks for the reassurance derlor, I got into quite a panic earlier and DH was PHSL at me and then he sloped off for a long bath before he went back to work so I have started angrily rearranging the kitchen cupboards so he can't find anything (very childish I know. If he pisses me off tonight I'll do the surfaces tomorrow so he can't find the kettle... he has used all the hot water so he'd better be nice)

doggus - where up north are you?

Am for your bags holly, it is annoying when ebay do that. But there seems to be lots of people out there who want one (not me, I have a green shopping bag my DM brought me from Woolworths in NZ, but mostly use a carrier bag!)

riabutterflew · 25/04/2007 21:37

I seem to get really wound up to the point where I want to burst into tears, but I can't so I just get more uptight and grumpy.

Am almost calm now, but have to clear up the toys the DS2 has kindly distributed over the settee and arm chairs so there is nowhere to sit.

derlor · 25/04/2007 22:01
