Night girls DH has made hot milk and is complaining about being on his own

hollyandalice · 29/04/2007 21:49

I think it's coz they're the only sweet things in the cupboard!

My dp is sleeping on the sofa and he is going away tomorrow for 3 days and hasn't packed or ironed anything. He has to be in Bristol before 9, so has to leave at 6.30. I keep trying to get him up, but he just moans at me for nagging! Grrr...men are so bloody annoying!

hollyandalice · 29/04/2007 21:49

Night sg! Enjoy your milk!

foxybrown · 29/04/2007 21:51

really holly, I hadn't noticed

Seansgirl · 29/04/2007 21:52

Sorry Foxy x posted. Am not entirely sure have just looked at the Freeway in pistachio on kiddicare and the 3D Pram system on John Lewis and have decided that I better get off my fat ass and go and have a look at some . I really want one that will be like an old fashioned pram for LO to sleep in during the summer outside and then to convert to a stroller/pushchair. The boot space isn't a big issue as I have a passat its reasonably big and I don't need to carry it on and off a bus. Anyway, will have to go and look. Night night again xx

hollyandalice · 29/04/2007 21:55

Yes foxy, annoying wankers!

hollyandalice · 29/04/2007 21:57

I often wonder what my dp would say about me if there was a dadsnet!

foxybrown · 29/04/2007 22:02

nothing probably. they'd be talking footy! yawn!

foxybrown · 29/04/2007 22:03

10 pm already! I really need to go to bed, but have only just eaten so would be a bad idea. had a yummy beer too - now baby's dancing!

hollyandalice · 29/04/2007 22:05

Probably! I'm off as I suppose I'll have to be dp's mum and pack for him. I don't mind, but I am not ironing his farking shirts!

Night, sleep well!

hollyandalice · 29/04/2007 22:06

My baby has been dancing on my bloody cervix all day and it hurts like hell! Little bugger !

foxybrown · 29/04/2007 22:08

before you go, have you seen weeonions birth story? Its great!

hollyandalice · 29/04/2007 22:13

Wow! Cool story! Those April mums seem to be pushing their babies out really quickly! Must be all that RLT, clary sage and sex! How long did your last one take? I've a target of 2 hours this time!

hollyandalice · 29/04/2007 22:17

I bet I end up in labour for 3 days! At least I have my lovely pool to relax in!

I'm off now, have hb and need another lolly!

foxybrown · 29/04/2007 22:18

about 6 hours I think. It was fine. Am shitting myself for this one, really worried my lucks run out!
2 hours is fast! how long did Alice take to make an appearance?

Can you remember way back who wanted one of those glider recliner chairs? Just saw one on Kiddicare for less than £100 (down from £300).

hollyandalice · 29/04/2007 22:20

Alice was 4 hours from first contraction to finish! I'm worried I've used all my good labour luck in one go! Did have loads of stitches though!

I think it was marylou that wanted a chair. I can't be arsed to help dp, he is still sat on his arse, so I'm not moving either!

hollyandalice · 29/04/2007 22:34

Right, I'm def off now! There is something dodgy going on in my uterus, some sort of annoying BH thing that keeps coming and is making me feel a bit shitty! I'm not worried though, it is def not real contractions!

foxybrown · 29/04/2007 22:36

hope you are OK Holly!

But if you are having contractions, remember to breath - and to post!

p.s. thanks for sending the shorts, you are a star!

n'night xx

Daisybump · 30/04/2007 08:37

holly, hope you're allright. It's obviously not just me with the "is it, isn't it" scare. I think Foxy mentioned about drinking lots as dehydration can make BH worse. I've been drinking buckets of water a day since i spoke to the doc about ketones in my wee and my contractions (BH or otherwise) have all but stopped.

Maybe its a survival thing...your body thinks it's suffering, so it gears up to getting the baby out, in case of drought or famine or something?

Drink lots and rest up today...

Read wee onions story....wow...thinking I might give the RLT a miss now, if DH has a three hour drive to get to me!!

OMG first time have checked out the April thread for new arrivals! Mavornia - four weeks early and 9lb+!!! Shit..........its getting close. Better get some serious shopping done. (Goes off muttering to herself...)

Hope all well this morning!! Holly, hope BHs have eased off and LO not trampling on your uteurus too much today!

see you later xx

Seansgirl · 30/04/2007 08:39
