LOL, HandA...I'll put those sntiments to him...well maybe not the ripping his head off bit..I've done that enough already .

right I'm definately off...Casualty in 5 mins followed by CSI then bed..if I can bear to tear myself out of my new comfy trousers (thinking maybe I should have bought two pairs).

I've never actually tried a cigar, the smell puts me off! My dp is a coffee drinker too and the two smells together are completely gagworthy! It pisses me off when he smokes in the car too as dd has to get in there. Not that he ever smokes around her, but the smell in the car lingers for ages. I really could have smoked a whole pack of Marlboro Lights last night, but I didn't even have a puff and there is dp smoking like a chimney![anger]

Night daisy! Enjoy your shows!!

i can offer some advice here on the FF issue, as my DS is only a year so we went through all this just after they had changed the rules. this isnt a new thing by the way they have been saying it certainly since b4 Thomas was born, and not alot of people pay much attention to it.
if you make the feeds up when the water is over 70 degress in a sterile bottle, there in theory isnt much bacteria in it is there? if you work on the logic that the bacteria in the formula was killed by the hot water and the bacteria in the bottle killed by sterilser, why shouldnt you cool them and store them in the fridge? theres not enough bacteria to cause a problem reheating later as you have already killed it all off! does this make sense to others?
i make it up in 24 hour batches and reheat when nessesery. my mother did this, so did my mothers mother, and prob before that! loada absoulute bollocks!!
sorry its a bug bear of mine, they are determined to scare FF off and make us all BF. in reality all it does is worry those of us that didnt have a choice, and irriate those who choose formula.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

notsolilKel · 28/04/2007 20:51

second the grrrrrr

all this nonsense and paranoia about a few germs in some milk powder. honestly. by the time your kid is old enough to roll there will be tongues on the floor, hands in the dirt, etc etc. and we all seem to survive just fine!

riabutterflew · 28/04/2007 20:52

Why do they always make it so complicated?
The guidelines might have changed again by the end of June anyway!

My DH woke me up last night to find out what he could have for his tea, then didn't have what I said but had tuna instead, so it smelt like I was sleeping with the bloody cat.

I suppose I was a bit unfair about where I live, there are some lovely places round here (I'm maybe 30 miles from Staithes), sometimes it's a bit depressing though, either in Winter it's really grim or in summer it's too busy. There's no pleasing some people! We used to live in the Lake District when DS1 was a baby and it was ALWAYS too busy to go out.

Re pre-preg figures. I've never had mine back from before DS1 10 years ago! (But I still maintain it's because I was 19 and hadn't stopped growing). I wouldn't be rushing back to the gymn though - stick to sleeping...

hollyandalice · 28/04/2007 21:24

KATY'S HAD HER BABY!!

TALLULAHBELLE · 28/04/2007 21:44

Just caught up again. H&A I love Joseph, especially Seamus, I love his hair. Thought this week's was much better than last week. Grease thingy just doesn't compare which makes me cos it's my favourite movie and I am old enough to have seen it in the pictures when it first came out!

Daisybump · 28/04/2007 21:46

woo hoo...I'll check the thread in a minute...

Thanks Natty for that...I suppose sometimes I just need a reality check and what you say makes perfect sense.

Ria...we should definately meet up when I'm over your way (28July - 4August)...so we can coo over each others bubs, and your two monsters can play on the sands with my one monster......at least it'll keep them occupied

I do like joseph tallulah, but I thought they were pretty awful this week and last! Seamus is cool and I like the guy that was an understudy in Phantom. I watched the grease one because someone I know was in it, but he was thrown out in the boot camp last week. It is repeated on ITV2 during the week so I'll watch it then! I love the reality singing show things! I'm pretty sad!

TALLULAHBELLE · 28/04/2007 21:53

Yep, was addicted to Maria too. Is the phantom guy the one with dark hair? - Lee I think. He sang 'I don't want to talk about it' tonight and made me melt

hollyandalice · 28/04/2007 21:56

I really liked maria too, but the girl that won is sooo annoying!! I love the sound of music, but I'd never go and see it with her in. I'd want to jump up on stage and punch her!

Yuk, that Rob the builder one makes my skin crawl! Yes it's Lee the Phantom under study, he's lovely and really looks the part.

Daisybump · 28/04/2007 22:02

I've only watched bits of it, but it all just seems a little bit too cheesy for my liking. What was good tonight though was the one who went out's girlfriend and mum in the audience...his mum looked like she was gonna chin someone!!

OP posts:
hollyandalice · 28/04/2007 22:04

Oh it's ever so cheesy, but that's half the appeal for me!! I love cheese !

Daisybump · 28/04/2007 22:04

Some mates and I went to "sing-a-long-a-sound of Music" last October...what an absolute hoot. There's fancy dress competitions and you get props and have to boo, chee,r wolf whistle etc as they play the film with sub-titles so you can karaoke along with the film.....brilliant

OP posts:
hollyandalice · 28/04/2007 22:13

Cool! I'd love that! Anything to make an arse of myself! I used to dress up all the time when I went out (obv my friends did too, not just me in a crazy outfit on my own!)!

OMG I can't believe seamus is in the sing off!!

Daisybump · 28/04/2007 22:14

Sing-A-Longa Well now you know about it holly...you can....

OP posts:
hollyandalice · 28/04/2007 22:15

Daisybump · 28/04/2007 22:15

Sounds like another of the April lot are about to go.....

OP posts:
TALLULAHBELLE · 28/04/2007 22:17

Seamus out-how could they!!!!

hollyandalice · 28/04/2007 22:18

Wow! Sing-a-long-a Joseph in Winchester in July! I don't know anyone who'd go with me though! It would be my dp's worst nightmare! Maybe I'll go on my own, is my dd too young?!

Oooo babies galore! Can't believe how soon it is til we start to pop!

hollyandalice · 28/04/2007 22:21

I know tallulah! He was the best by far!

TALLULAHBELLE · 28/04/2007 22:24

And scrummy in his loincloth!

Daisybump · 28/04/2007 22:25

she's maybe just a little bit little...i'm sure you'll find someone though...wot about your mum??

OP posts:
hollyandalice · 28/04/2007 22:27

Maybe I'll go with my mum to see normal joseph, I don't think she'd be up for the sing a long one! Haven't been to a musical for ages, not since saturday night fever about 4 years ago. That was great!
