chicken shit is grim and gets everywhere. and then they get their heads bitten off by foxes.
I am so off eggs atm.

I think Sarah-Jane has porn star "qualities".

Am not getting on well. My sister just rang for 20 mins...

Daisybump · 27/04/2007 13:30

We keep x-posting...it's only gonna get worse when everyone is on maternity leave....we'll need a new one every day so best get those titles thought up in advance.

Right I'm off....talk to y'all later.

Maybe that's why my DH likes her Ria....

hollyandalice · 27/04/2007 13:33

Apparently sarah-jane used to be an acrobat, so you are prob right there Ria!

We are getting our kitchen done soon and there will be a dishwasher! Not a poxy slimline one, but a big fat one that fits all my plates in at once!

My baby is pushing right down on my cervix. It's very uncomfortable!

hollyandalice · 27/04/2007 13:34

I'm going to try and get some sleep as I'm going out tonight. I want to be able to last beyond 11!

foxybrown · 27/04/2007 14:45

am watching the Wiggles. seems preferable to sticking masking tape everywhere.

Daisybump · 27/04/2007 15:02

You must be fed up of the decorating Foxy...if you think watchig the Wiggles is preferrable....personally I'd rather stick hot needles under my fingernails...they are up there in the creepy stakes with Simon from Tikkabilla IMHO

In-laws have just gone and they've got me all emotional and weepy again.....they've just given us a wodge of cash to get things for the baby which I wasn't expecting, bless them . So, MIL and me are going baby shopping next week.

God, its taken ages to catch up and thats even with skim reading most stuff.... I can't believe we're half way through already! My vote for the next thread title is Daisy's DHs fav subject

Hope you're feeling better Daisy and Sputnik, and not toooooooo bored! Hello to Trace2, glad to hear LO putting on weight.
Welcome back Lilkel, to the even madder house than it was before!

Nothing interesting to report here, had a mild scare yesterday afternoon,(tmi alert) found a teeny amount of blood yesterday. Almost like a shaving nic IYSWIM, but I hadn't shaved. Calmly phoned out of hours number. MW decided somehow must have cut myself (how???) as no other syptoms (thankfully) Still a mystery. But all seems ok.

Am not looking forward to a weekend of sorting, decorating and general house organising. Feelling very touchy/arsey/mardy/stroppy/tearful/unreasonable........

Love the dress Holly BTW!

Seansgirl · 27/04/2007 15:34

On the plus side DM has bought LO some gorgeous romper suits and babygros so he/she won't be in their birthday suit

Still masses on shopping list - bag to sort, pram to buy and old one to sell, crib, sterilser, blackout blinds...........and so the list goes on

Seansgirl · 27/04/2007 15:36

Just remember Foxy I baggsied Captain feathersword first..........

Daisy aaawwww..... there are some nice ILS out there

Daisybump · 27/04/2007 15:41

Take it easy Seansgirl...just in case. don't want you beating Sputnik or me in the race to be first past the post

OP posts:
foxybrown · 27/04/2007 15:49

Sorry Seansgirl, but I'm glad you're feeling like that - but only because its good to know I'm not alone!

What a treat Daisy! How nice of your ILs

Daisybump · 27/04/2007 15:52

They're great really.....and they've got DS for the night as well, so now DH and I can have a lie in in the morning.

OP posts:
notsolilKel · 27/04/2007 16:03

ew what a bizarre day on MN - that David Beckham link was a tough one to forget!!

HB bigtime! Thought I was going to really lose my breakfast this morning. Must go get some Gaviscon. Meantime I've dug out the preggie pops - remember those? God it seems like we've been pg FOREVER doesn't it??

Sex of baby - defo having those fearful moments as well. In my case we're apparently expecting a girl but they weren't 100% certain. I've tried very very hard not to buy too much pink/frilly/gorgeous stuff but couldn't resist the odd (100) bits, so if it's a boy, I know I'm going to be disappointed, poor chap!!!

Still in denial that I need a steriliser. Just don't want to put the bloody thing on my counter again. It's like the final straw in admitting I'm in for a helluvalot of work, soon, IYSWIM....

notsolilKel · 27/04/2007 16:04

oh yeah and don't go cleaning house ladies. I did the scrubbing-floor-on-knees thing last year and ended up giving birth 48 hours later, 3 weeks early..........(as if you needed another excuse but seriously, take it easy) while you can!!!

Seansgirl, possible that you had a wee 'show'?

Seansgirl · 27/04/2007 16:10

God no Daisy, LOs got to stay in there as long as possible. My GP started talking to me about contraception this morning Huh! fat chance of anything like that! Its going to be novel thinking about not prg for a time, have taken 10 years so far getting this far! Bloody sods law that I get prg very soon after and have twins!

Yes, Foxy I am sooooo bad tempered, everyone on the road today has been a fucking idiot! Just get out of way you tossers!

Seansgirl · 27/04/2007 16:11

Good point on the housework Lilkel. Hope it wasn't a show am only 31 weeks.

Seansgirl · 27/04/2007 16:12

Sorry, fucking wanky tossers.

Seansgirl · 27/04/2007 16:13

Right, parenting to be done.

Daisybump · 27/04/2007 16:16

Need Chocolate.....

The only stuff I have in the house is either DSs chocolate orange easter egg (and he only got two eggs this year and he actually strokes them daily so he would notice it was gone) or else some bars of dairy milk which may contain traces of wheat.....thinking...will I risk it? will I risk it?

OP posts:
Daisybump · 27/04/2007 16:22

The HV was on about contraception to me as well.....WTF...can't they at least let us get one out of the way first before we think about stopping the next one from being conceived. Surely they could have the decency to wait until after your 6 week check....cos DH will be waiting that long for sure

OP posts:
BadZelda · 27/04/2007 16:22

Somewhat disappointing shopping as Brixton is not exactly great for mat wear and I look ridiculous in anything else at the moment. Still managed to get some cheap stickers and glitter for ella, a book, and some teeny tiny vests and baby gros, so now def. got enough. Still have to buy new steriliser, baby bouncer and sling as can't get mine back off SIL (long and sad story, not for now)...but I reckon I'll leave all that for a while. Knackered now!

BadZelda · 27/04/2007 16:25

Hah - r.e. contraception: this baby was concieved on the ONE occasion in 2 years that we hadn't bothered (were a bit tipsy at the time, and I don't get on with the pill so we were using condoms)...so a happy accident. DH is considering getting the snip now....pregnancy hormones have turned my brain to mush so I keep thinking I want LOADS more kids - but then I have moments of sanity and realise it's just the progesterone talking

Daisybump · 27/04/2007 16:34

I keep on thnking another one quickly after this would be good, as the age gap between DS and this LO is 5 years.....but DH said he'd have no option but to leave if I did get PG again after what he's had to put up with over the last seven months.
