oh pantsbuggerbollockstwunt

been waiting in for sainsburys to deliver. Turns out I cancelled my order yesterday by amending it and not checking it out again. So no food, no milk, bread anything.

was sat in anyway waiting for boiler man for the 3rd time this week, who when he tried it, it started to work for him.

am really quiet pissed off.

derlor · 26/04/2007 14:52

bless you Foxy - what a shit day huh - just what you need when already feeling grumpy - can you get some emergency bread and milk then re-order for tomorrow??? ((((((((((hug)))))))))))

derlor · 26/04/2007 15:00

well i'm off to pick up LO's from playgroup/school then go straight to antinatal ..... with them in toe - great!
then home for quick dinner before running DS to cubs - then i may sit down again at about 1830 if i'm lucky...
later chicks x

BadZelda · 26/04/2007 15:12

Derlor...I'm bad at trial and error / sending things back as I have a phobia of posting things. Have secret shower present to send, but will have to get DH to do it. I know this sounds v odd!

hollyandalice · 26/04/2007 15:24

Oh why, oh why do my plans always go wrong? I was just about to send dd out in the garden to play and it starts raining! SO it looks like an afternoon in front of cbeebies after all! Also was gonna do some chores, but am having Bhs so painful I'm nearly crying! In fact I might cry! Ouch!! SO I'm gonna have to sit on the sofa til they go away! Bloody shit hell!

sputnik · 26/04/2007 15:31

No, just interesting BadZ
Is it a sort of letting something go off into the unknown type thing? Share if it helps.

Having spent the morning as a personal bra shopper I don't mind spending the afternoon as an amateur psychologist.

sputnik · 26/04/2007 15:32

Sit down til after they go away H&A

riabutterflew · 26/04/2007 15:57

I have to agree with the M&S rant. But I find all bras trial and error. Kets just say I measure a 34-366DD EVERYWHERE that sells bras (shops, on-line guidelines, the lot) but am not at 36DD or even close to...

I am going to have a look and see if mothercare has advice on measuring self and might buy off ebay (mothercare also 40 miles away. We do have Debenhams, M&S & "Sadie the Bra Lady". I don't like buying bras.)

BTW, think I might have remembered where I stored the "missing" baby clothes - but that's ajob for tomorrow. Too scared to make any more mess.

The washing line of cleanly waffing babyclothes really cheered DH up. He is going to talk EU working time directive tonight with his boss. Might be unemployed tomorrow!

riabutterflew · 26/04/2007 15:57

bugger the italics.

riabutterflew · 26/04/2007 15:58

bugger my typing.

foxybrown · 26/04/2007 15:59

good luck to your DH Ria with his WTD chat - hope it doesn't get messy!

riabutterflew · 26/04/2007 15:59

I didn't mean 336DD either. Though they are big! Must start checking these posts before I click.

Must pretend to be a parent. Til later

hollyandalice · 26/04/2007 16:04

Just bugger in general then Ria !! I love M&S bras, always have done, I don't think I have more thn a couple that aren't from there. Maybe because I always buy my bras from there I don't notice the size discrepancy! I think this one is lovely. Very similar to one I already have from there!

Thank god the BHs have stopped. It was almost worth having them because I feel great now I'm in no pain! Cup of tea then chores methinks! Dp will take the piss out of me if he comes home and the house looks like it does now!

kittykitt · 26/04/2007 16:14

A couple of days away, working hard, and it's taken me hours to catch up! Loving the new thread, especially as it is obviously so controversial!!
Great advice on nursing bras - am plnning to go shopping for some this weekend. Though, I must say on the subject of fitting, I went to M&S a while ago to get some new bras, thinking "great, biiger boobs, bigger cup size at last".. But alas no, must be the only pregnant woman to still be an A Cup?
DH obviously trying not to show disappointment.
Was shopping (again) at Meadowhall today. Thought i would go into Mamas & Papas for a changing bag... £45!!! WTF!!! Saw another one in Mothercare but it was hideous and huge. Do i need one of these? Nice tops in H&M.. Was supposed to be buying DH's bday pressie but had to leave as the sight of so many differnet pushchairs was making me feel weak.

riabutterflew · 26/04/2007 16:15

At least your DH will only take the piss holly and not be uppity about "WTF do you do all day" (though to be fair DH hasn't implied that today either).

I think the M&S bra thing is to do with the genetic make up of our family chests!

kittykitt · 26/04/2007 16:15

Just remembered - someone mentioned plastic backed bibs?

they sell them in Asda - 10 for £3

hollyandalice · 26/04/2007 16:25

Kittykit I would love to be a A cup! Don't complain you will be much cooler in the summer without great big milk filled norks flapping about on your chest!! Changing bags are always a difficult one! Most of them are pretty massive and ugly. Have a look on ebay, you can get really pretty ones on there for much less.

The bags I had on ebay have just finished, £67 and £72! Only one left now. I may save it and put it on once the rush has subsided!

Right must do chores!

kittykitt · 26/04/2007 16:29

LOL H&A. Flapping breasts could be good for creating a breeze down your cleavage.....

hollyandalice · 26/04/2007 16:33

!! I used to be a 34A-B and would love to be that size again! Big norks get all sweaty underneath esp when bfing in the summer! You will prob get bigger as your milk comes in in a few weeks. My boobs grew last time at about 32 weeks I think and I bought my nursing bras at 34 weeks. I went to a 36DD! So there is still time for them to grow!!

hollyandalice · 26/04/2007 16:34

ARRGGGHHHH!! Stop procrastinating and do housework!!!

sputnik · 26/04/2007 16:52

Kittykit, is this your first? I stayed an A cup in my first pg, then when my milk came in after the birth they suddenly got bigger. Weirdly enough they have got bigger this time.

Anyway, now I am an expert on bra-sizing I can tell you that you have got bigger if you went up a band size but stayed the same cup. This tells you all about it

derlor · 26/04/2007 16:55

just had a quick catch up - back from antinatal and baby has a heartbeat of 134 - so a girl seemingly we'll see if MW is right soon enough. She said HB of 120-130 = a boy and 130-140= a girl.......watch this space.
on the question of a changing bag - i just used a nice unisex rucksak/bag from next last time cost about £10 lots of pockets and lots of space - IMO changing bags are an expensive gimmick - bah humbug!!!! oh GOD i sound like victor meldrew - maybe i'll get a lovely changing bag after all....nah
can't believe it's raining Holly my 2 are out playing in shorts and t-shirts!!! oh to live in Scotland!!!
DS decided he not going to cubs tonight, playing out instead so i don't have to run about like a blue arsed fly - yippee.

derlor · 26/04/2007 16:58

yeah on the bags Holly - mine at £36.99 with 4 hours to go.....fingers crossed x

kittykitt · 26/04/2007 17:02

Yes, it is my first, so maybe i shouldn't speak too soon...
Band size has increased from 34-36 as ribs are now wider.

On the same subjectish. What type of breast pads would you all recommend?

By the way, have finally uploaded a couple of fuzzy photos to profile page (have crap camera)

kittykitt · 26/04/2007 17:05

No Derlor! I have been desperately avoiding finding out sex of lo but now you have just let the so called kiitycat out of the bag! Heartbeat is very high. SOOOOO.....
