September 2018.... still trying to believe it's a BFP

Starting a thread with cautious optimism, BFP on Christmas Eve and again today (on ic, first response and CB digital Blush) If all goes well EDD 3 Sept. this will be DC2 for us, DS is 13 months and completely shocked as this was first month TTC when last time took 6 months. Hope to have some company here soon Grin

I know I have a high chance of being induced at 39 weeks, maybe 38. Hoping I can convince them to let me get to 40, as I went early with my first and would love to have an spontaneous labour again. Although a safe delivery trumps any of that.

Not many symptoms here today. A little nauseous, but barely noticeable. I'm only six weeks today though, so it has time to get bad again. Or it maybe more to do with the fact I'm a sahp now and have time to eat when I need to.

Justoneme · 11/01/2018 14:39

Oh add me please 😊 38 DC1 EDD 16/09/18

Fia256 · 11/01/2018 15:02

I still don't really have any sickness! Any that I do I actually think is just in my head anyway! But I usually get it at 7 weeks ish and I'm only 5+4! Boobs are now becoming very tender even with a non wired supportive bra! So that's exciting 😂

Anyone else finding they hit a brick wall with tiredness at certain points in the day? I'm absolutely exhausted all day long, but I'm finding around 11am-1pm ish, and 4-6pm I literally feel like I can't go on another second. I feel that tired it makes me feel ill it's horrible especially at work!

kirinm · 11/01/2018 15:03

@Fia256 3pm for me. I feel shattered but perk up when I get home.

muffyduffster · 11/01/2018 15:05

Just made my booking in appointment with the midwife for three weeks' time! That's going to go so slowly...

muffyduffster · 11/01/2018 15:06

@Fia256 8pm for me, but that's been the case since DD was born Grin

Paranormalbouquet · 11/01/2018 15:06

Fia my boobs are less tender actually. But I gather that often happens around 7weeks.

Sals27 · 11/01/2018 15:37

@muffyduffster I've just made mine too, mines 2 weeks today when I'll be 6w5d and I'm not sure if that's too early Confused

I actually didn't find the unit to be at all helpful on the phone. They sounded bored and like they cba.

rabbitsdontlayeggs · 11/01/2018 15:41

Yep @Fia256, I hit a wall around 5pm just in time for me to give DD (nearly 2) her dinner. She's a fussy pest at dinner time so I need to be switched on but I'm finding myself so exhausted!!

Then by the time she's in bed at 6:30pm I'm fine again, until bedtime when I promptly pass straight out.

LostMyBaubles · 11/01/2018 15:46

Second what did they do about your high bp last time?

I'm high risk-
Kidney problems, risk of pre eclampsia, Over weight, hemmorage risk (between 2.5l to 1.5l) and risk of gd.

Thinking of popping upto epu tomorrow morning been getting some dull aches and a stabby pain. Hoping they can put my mind at rest about the bp too

LostMyBaubles · 11/01/2018 15:46

Can someone add me to the list please I'm on phone can't do it

8/9/2018 is edd. TBC
Ta x

Paranormalbouquet · 11/01/2018 15:50

Aren’t we a very high risk group!

MonaTheMoaner · 11/01/2018 15:56

I am so ridiculously tired. Today I went back to sleep at 7:30am and woke up past midday. I’ve popped to the shop which is a ten minute walk either way on foot and back and I’m knackered again.

Boobs seem to be on and off tender. Some days will be worse than others and then I’ll feel like I have no pain at all for a day before back to sore nipples. Nauseas in the morning and evening and so incredibly thirsty it’s like no amount of water satisfies me.

I have a scan tomorrow at the EPU at 6+1 to figure out the pain which is still there but eases every now and then. I’m praying it’s normal ligament pain since this is DC3 and there’s no bleeding but I’ll update when I know more.

kirinm · 11/01/2018 16:06

I'm not sure if I'm high risk. I probably will be due to a health condition and the fact it affected my labour but that's a guess.

rabbitsdontlayeggs · 11/01/2018 16:11

I was thinking that too @Paranormalbouquet! I'm high risk when it comes to birth but not for pregnancy (well hopefully, I had a lovely pregnancy last time!).

ELCS at 38-39 weeks for me this time so not worried about it at all though. Obviously CS recovery is no walk in the park but it can't be any worse that DD's natural delivery.

Well I say it's 'elective' - I would choose it. But I was told after DD no more natural deliveries for me, too dangerous, so not so much elective as required.

Fia256 · 11/01/2018 16:15

Good luck for your scan tomorrow @MonaTheMoaner and hope all is well! I've got mine next Friday!

twiggy123 · 11/01/2018 16:24

The tiredness is definitely worse this time for me. Occasionally nausea but it causes panic that it'll turn into fainting that I've had before. I can't carry on working like that and that will not impress my managers.
I worry that I'll be ill again and then worry if I have no symptoms as have had a MMC before.
I then worry about age gaps. That I've got too big a gap and impact on my children. I'm older too and love my sleep. This baby was very planned but it just feels over whelming at times. I really need to stop worrying!
Sorry for the low post x

twiggy123 · 11/01/2018 16:28

Also good luck for scan tomorrow mona x

Secondsop · 11/01/2018 16:30

@lostmybaubles I was monitored frequently by a brilliant blood pressure antenatal clinic at King’s. I was on medication. I also got my own bp machine and now and then kept an eye on it at home (and a new thing I will do this time is take my large bp cuff to all appointments!). (I was also induced at 38 weeks for both babies because of gestational diabetes).

Namechangedtoscream · 11/01/2018 16:34

Woohoo sickness is back! Hoping it's morning sickness and not Aussie flu!! Scan tomorrow, eek! Good luck with yours Mona

Paranormalbouquet · 11/01/2018 16:36

Good luck tomorrow Mona. I’m shattered now, thankfully finished work early so am on my way home. Nausea seems to have returned in the form of an odd swooping sensation in my stomach. The type you get on rollercoasters.
