@InstructionsRequired Great news that you're further along than expected! My EDD is 7 July so we are close.

Sonographer really was awful, I would have thought they would have better bedside manner! This was the opening dialogue:

Arsey Sonographer (abruptly): Is this your first scan?
Me: We had a private scan last week.
AS (abruptly): Did you have the Harmony test?
Me: Yes, but we haven't got any results back.
AS (aggressively): Give me the sheet they gave you.
Me: They didn't give us a sheet.
AS (aggressively): I need the Harmony report.
Me: I don't have one, we are waiting for the results.
AS (aggressively): Give me what they gave you.
Me: All they gave us was a scan. looks for scan in folder finds scan
AS: I don't want the scan! Give me the report!
Me: All I have is a scan.
AS: SO WHAT'S THAT THEN?? points to sheet of paper in folder
Me: That's a copy of my informed consent to treatment form.
AS: Oh.

Heregoes that is terrible. She sounds like she is not in the right job.
I dont get why an nhs sonographer would need the report even if you had it as its not offered on the nhs.

Finally had my letter through from Leeds.. 12 week scan and NT scan will be 2 weeks today

My little one 💖 measuring roughly 9+4 well to be exact it was measuring 9+4.5 hehe. We had private scan today to check on things so i can now announce to my parents on Christmas day at 10 weeks!
We heard and saw the heartbeat and it was amazing, I'm feeling abit more hopeful now. 12 week scan in 12 days! Xx

Yes @Skye I don't understand why she needed the Harmony report either, I think maybe she could use some of the information to cross-check her own findings or reduce some of the work she had to do or something? Either way, I just thought if there is something wrong with this baby then I do not want to hear the news from this woman!

My DH told his best friend about the pregnancy 2 days ago. I am extremely close to his best friend's wife who is lovely, we socialise together all the time, and I was terrified about the impact of this news as they've been trying for a good while now. Neither of them has even sent me a message so I'm worried... had a nightmare last night that I saw them both and they looked straight through me...

Hi there.

I've been meaning to get involved with these threads for ages but Christmas stuff and work kept getting in the way!

I'm 12 weeks today. Have my 12 week scan on Wednesday and have had a couple of reassurance scans at 7+3 and 10+3. Have been measuring ahead of my dates on both of those so I expect the same on Wednesday, just hoping all is OK in there.

Can someone please pm me about adding me to the Facebook group? I find it much easier to access :)

How is everyone? Is everyone organised for christmas. I wary of the food part incase my nausea returns it seems to have been gone for a few weeks with only fleeting returns. I find it easier to eat cold foods atm.

I think they're not adding people to the Facebook group anymore. Should we start a new one for those that didn't get in the original one.
I'm dreading the cooking part of the Christmas Dinner @Skyechasemarshalontheway. I'm cooking for 11 and my energy levels at the minute are pants and then the nausea.

We are thankfully going to my mums so we dont need to cook. I feel for you so much and hope your nausea keeps at bay christmas day.

We could make one on facebook. If you pm i can throw one together and add you. My dds mn fb group is still active after 3 years its great watching the kids grow.

Yeh I have a group with my youngest ds. We still meet up as often as we can and talk everyday

My dds group are having a big meet up in a few months where weve all booked lodges at the same place. Ive travelled from scotland to england to meet some.

I think they would still add to the Facebook group, Why wouldn't they? I'm in it and it's fab! You could always private message the admin for it on here unicornberry xxx

A lot of us on here have sent a pm and had no response. They might not add people because they feel the group is big enough already for example.

I've messaged the admin on Facebook and she said anyone from the thread can join, You just need to pm unicornberry and she will tell you what to do xx
