Good morning....car boot than IKEA Holly...you are very very brave...don't think I can stay on my feet for that long these days...

Had a wierd night last night..BH very strong and getting quite sore, and had a bit of a show....but only the teensiest tiniest bit...then spent the rest of the evening on the sofa saying "it's too soon, it's too soon" over and over again. didn't sleep at all well, and as well as very period like pains low down on my bump, there were some wierd sort of internal feeling pains in my fanjo as well (is it too early for this amount of information ) and my hips have been sore all night.

so....waiting for the MW to call me back and re-assure me that all this is normal and fine and I'm not having the baby yet....

hollyandalice · 23/04/2007 09:41

Oh daisy, hope you're ok! Is the mw coming to see you? Let us know what she says. (((HUGS)))

Morning girls. DH at home today so will not be able to lurk and join in.

Hopefully you are not daisy-about-to-be-minus-bump and all is ok.

I am planning car boot sale too in couple of weeks - if I can get the stuff out of the house before the boys see what I am taking.

I am definitely going to get some leggings and long tops - will plan a trip to town very soon (have to take the boys to the dentist today, with NO HELP from DH as he has a phobia, so shopping will be way down my list of priorities after that).

Have a good day everyone. Be back tonight when DH & I have spent so much time together that we aren't speaking anymore

Daisybump · 23/04/2007 09:51

Thanks Holly.....I've got to make my way just now to the ante-natal assessment unit at the hospital so that they can check me over and make sure that everything is OK...I'll keep you posted.

Felt fine till I spoke to the MW...now I feel like a blubbing wreck

hollyandalice · 23/04/2007 10:10

(((MORE HUGS))) hope it goes ok. xxx

Oh Daisy, fingers crossed everything is okay... And don't panic. A girl on my NCT went on holiday last week and had a major bleed - went to hospital (she was in Scotland I think) and everything turned out to be fine...

sputnik · 23/04/2007 10:41

Can't believe it's taken me an hour to catch up with you lot.

Sorry to hear about your weekend H&A, it must feel like you've been invaded by a barbarian hoarde.

Impossible to comment on everything but I just wanted to say to Bumper yes there are lovely baby moments and don't let anyone tell you different, I have a lovely photo of me and DD at around 1 month, I'm lying on a lounger reading and she is asleep on my belly. Small babies sleep a lot and yes there is extra laundry etc, but it's not that bad.

Re the sex and going into labour thing, DH has fond memories of me threatening physical violence towards the end last time if he didn't get down and do something IYSWIM, apparently he wasn't very turned on by pg women. I wouldn't mind the idea at the moment actually but it's strictly off the menu I think til my cervix decides to behave.

sputnik · 23/04/2007 10:47

Oh Daisy hope everything is ok, I'll be thinking about you.... huge hug
Let us know how it went and take it easy when you get home.

mytwocents · 23/04/2007 11:33

sputnik · 23/04/2007 12:06

Click on their chat name or the yellow clipboard icon on the right.

Seansgirl · 23/04/2007 12:07

Quick check in. Daisy ((((((Hugs)))))))) hope all goes ok I'm sure you & LO will be fine, will thinking of you. Holly, haven't caught up but sound like bad weekend, so (((((((Hugs))))))))) to you too! But Car boot and Ikea!!!!! you must be mad!!!!! I agree with Daisy can't stay on feet that long! Back again later!

Mytwocents! Where have you been?? re profiles, can only view when logged in and only if MNer has written a profile. Think thats right

See you later xxx

Seansgirl · 23/04/2007 12:08

Sorry Sputnik, Hello!!! Hope you you're ok, sounds like you are! Really gotta go!!

mytwocents · 23/04/2007 12:20

Help! I tried logging in and cannot find how to view anyone elses profile.... need to get my arse in gear for shower and no computer access for rest of week....

catsuitgirl · 23/04/2007 12:36

Okay, so look at Seansgirl's last entry. At the top is her name - to the right of the bar is a red exclamation mark, a yellow thing that looks a bit like a post it and an envelope. Click on the post-it and that should give you her profile. Not everyone's got one.

Does that work?

catsuitgirl · 23/04/2007 12:37

But for shower, you should have got address and details from Marslady via email, no?

sputnik · 23/04/2007 12:38

Calm down sweetie, we just told you!
click their name. Not everyone has one though, only if they have a clipboard icon.
If it's any consolation I still haven't got it together for the shower either.

hollyandalice · 23/04/2007 12:43

Why do I have more stuff in my cupboard under the stairs than I ever thought possible? It's like a tardis, I can't believe that much stuff fitted in there!

Hope you and your cervix are well sputnik!

Hope daisy is ok...

OP posts:
sputnik · 23/04/2007 12:47

Think they're ok but haven't been up there with a ruler to check on dilation recently
Hope Daisy is alright.

H&A car boot followed by IKEA on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON. Don't do it!!!!!!!!

hollyandalice · 23/04/2007 13:03

I know I'm a bit mental, but I'm sick of the stuff and general crap in my house! It looks like a jumble sale! We need to do a boot sale to get rid of the crappy crap and go to Ikea to get storage for the not so crappy crap!! I'm not sure I could cope with a baby in my house atm it's a death trap! Dd is fine with it as she loves to climb !!

OP posts:
Seansgirl · 23/04/2007 13:17

Car boot is a good idea Holly. If you can't get rid of some stuff tho try your local newspaper(my last ad was free) I am currently planning to advertise my old pram, stroller, a TV and video too. Also you can try www.freecycle.com if still no luck selling it - it does mean giving it away to someone who wants it but its better than talking it to the tip. Its probably how I'm getting rid of a table and chairs that I haven't been able to sell.

BTW I have an under stairs cupoard like that too and also one in my spare room and its all full of junk it all has to be sorted before the birth of course!!!

riabutterflew · 23/04/2007 13:44

holly & seansgirl - LOL at the U/S cupboards and spare rooms. You haven't seen my house! Hence my stressing about tidying too.

DH is currently clearing out the garage (because it needs doing, not for the baby). It is like a tardis also, and he has a DR Who villain type temper to match ATM. He is not very pro-active re jobs at home (why do it today when I can put it off indefinitely...), then wonders why things take so long when he gets round to it.

He will be V unimpressed if he finds me on here (as it has just taken me over an hour to finish my MA claim and he thinks I've done nothing today), so had better go.

Am hoping Daisy is ok.

'til later...

derlor · 23/04/2007 13:48

hello girlies, well it is the 1st real day of my mat leave and it feels great!!!! took dd to soft play with my friend and her dd this morning - so basically just sat on my ass and drank tea while chatting, much better than work.
