Due in June - am I unreasonable to expect the nanny to give birth for me?

I did indeed! It was my birthday last week, DP was working away, so it went unnoticed at the time. I was very down about it on the day, but he's made up for it so is forgiven!

Yes - that's 3 boys for me (DS1 is 3 1/2 and DS2 is 2). Do you know what you are having?

another girl - that's 2 and 2 for me. Am v happy, tho did want another boy at first if I'm honest. Am just delighted she is ok!

I like Fraser too. Is it Scottish? DH insisted on us having Scottish names even though we're English. Weirdo

your boys are pretty close too (mine are 14 months apart). How do you feel about going from 2 to 3?

It's my first! I'm really excited but also starting to feel really nervous. Not about the birth but more along the lines of - "Shit. What have we done?"

I think Fraser is Scottish. I knew a really nice boy called Fraser but he was Australian and had red hair.

There's 16 months between Tom and George and there'll be 2 1/2 years between George and DS3. It's weird but I think I was more scared of going from 1 to 2 than 2 to 3. Am I just being an ostrich? How did you find it Foxy?

Ahh yes! My first was a pleasant surprise. My second was my 'shit what have we done' moment (given that we weren't even living together and had planned another!!)

Scary, huh?

Exactly the same Annobel! I found that I was flat-out with two, so another one in the pot wouldn't make a whole heap of difference. Ditto with number 4. With 3 I found that the oldest two would play together and no 3 would nap so I'd have 2 hours every afternoon to chill. Never expected that.

You just have to make sure you fill that time wisely! And NOT on laundry!

Congratulations Fatkin. I do have to say that the biggest change was from none to one - not in a bad way though! Thank you - funny that neither ended up with the name we'd picked out - they just didn't seem to suit.

We may go for 4 - not too sure - depends how bored I get in Australia once renovating house is done
