just a quck update on eddas had a text at 7am to say contractions were regular and painful and they were just heading into hospital so fingers crossed that Maidstone will accept her and she won't hve to travel to Pembury. I have asked her to text me if she can and I'll update accordingly.

Am soooo excited but stupid me told dh he could take car today as my new front door was meant to be fitted but they aren't coming grrrr, so my brother has said he'll come and look after dd's so if it arrives today I can go baby shopping !!

Hopefully she managed to get in touch with her - its unlike elliekpa to be unorganised and loose a number... I think lulumama put them in touch so maybe she has managed to contact her?

I will keep buping but will probably be going out around then too - fridays is my little tootle out day, especially as its a nice da... god how sad am I???

Hi Girls.. all this talk of TENS finally got my arse in gear to order one - ordered a freedom one from www.tradelightbulbs.com for only 20 something quid! Hopefully will be okay but at that price, can´t complain. Will this bring on early labour???? (worth a shot, right??!)

Off to the market now to buy my fruit and veg and then cats to the vet and then got a friend coming for lunch who I´ve not seen in months so a very lovely day planned, all in all.

Can´t remember who said yesterday about not having nesting and needing to clean kitchen and bathroom still - made me laugh as these are the two big jobs I still had on my list yesterday. Luckily dh, wee star that he is, cleaned the little bathroom at lunch and I cleaned the big one last night at about 8pm! so finally knocked those off the list.. just the kitchen to go...uuuurrrgh.. Think that might have to wait til monday though..

I´m here Katy!! Grrrrr at my mother. She was supposed to come at 11am to take me and the cats to the vet but she is notorious for not turning up on time/ cancelling/ forgetting whatever. Have been trying to call her all a.m. to confirm but no answer so I assumed she was still asleep (not unlikely).

So she suddenly turns up (at 11am if you can believe it!) but because I wasn´t expecting her the back window was still open and one of our cats (who is scared of his own shadow and ALWAYS disappears when there is company even though it means sitting outside in the rain) jumped out and was gone as soon as he heard the buzzer.

He won´t come back for ages now so that´s the vet plan for the day shot

Bah. Think I´ll go make some tomato soup, bought some lovely smelling toms from the market but think they will be off soon if I don´t do something with them.

Katy44 - cleaning the kitchen as in washing up etc I don´t mind - but I´ve got the big spring clean of cupboards planned which I really can´t be arsed with...

I didn't realise you meant cupboards. Yes, I agree, that's a really boring job, and messes up the rest of the kitchen while you're doing it! I always end up sweeping and mopping the sugar / lentils / pasta that's gone all over once I'm done. We don't even use sugar, so I'm not sure where it all comes from!!
I'm off to meet someone from my AN class for a coffee, ooh, soon, and then I'm taking DH's car in and killing time. I'm then coming back and plan to be glued to MN all afternoon.
Please can anyone who's around try to keep this thread bumped, but I worry it might be too late.
