liath · 13/04/2007 06:48

Ooh, Ellie, how exciting (the labour, not no water obviously ). How often are you contracting?

IsabellyMoi · 13/04/2007 06:51

Ooooh - Ellie and Eddas!! How exciting for you both.

Hopefully/maybe Eddas has had hers by now??

Ellie - you okay?

EllieKthePA · 13/04/2007 06:53

It's a bit scary how many of us have started labour on MN! Presume Eddas must have gone in, hope her hospital was open & she didn't have to try and find the other one in the wee hours !

IsabellyMoi · 13/04/2007 06:55

That's very promising!

Sorry - can't remember your plans...do you have someone taking you to the hospital?

liath · 13/04/2007 06:55

Can you talk during them? Hope you're not on your own.

EllieKthePA · 13/04/2007 06:55

i was hoping to stay at home til the last minute but doesn't look like that'll be happening now!

Things could move fast!

liath · 13/04/2007 06:58

Did you get a TENs in the end?

EllieKthePA · 13/04/2007 07:03

yeah i did, came wednesday!
have called hospital, i'm gonna go in about 7.30

OP posts:
IsabellyMoi · 13/04/2007 07:04

Getting a TENS seems to be a good way to bring on labour!!

I just got mine yesterday so I'm expecting action soon!

liath · 13/04/2007 07:07

Good luck, Ellie !

IsabellyMoi · 13/04/2007 07:09

You may be focussing on a few other things (!) between now and when you leave for hospital so I'll wish you all the best now!

Looking forward to hearing the happy announcement!

Take care!

EllieKthePA · 13/04/2007 07:17

thank you!
where is everyone this morning?

OP posts:
IsabellyMoi · 13/04/2007 07:19

You're still there!
Not sure - maybe they are all getting a good lie in? Many seemed to have a bad night's sleep yesterday/the day before.

Are the contractions really strong?

EllieKthePA · 13/04/2007 07:20

yes!!
but they were when i had matthew then when i got to hospital i wasn't even started dilating!

OP posts:
carol3 · 13/04/2007 07:20

hows it going?

IsabellyMoi · 13/04/2007 07:20

How long was your labour with Matthew?

carol3 · 13/04/2007 07:21

things move alot quicker on the second, don't leave it to late

EllieKthePA · 13/04/2007 07:23

matthew's labour was really long so i'm not worried yet, and i'm only 6 mins from hospital!

IsabellyMoi · 13/04/2007 07:24

Oh good - you are really close then - that's convenient.
