We're not allowed twingey minges are we Miss?

What about a scratch and sniff reference? If you're very vague surely that wouldnt offend? DD had a scratch and sniff book when she was 1, nothing wrong with that!

EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 11:41

i absolutely refuse to get into any trouble
they say stress can make the baby stay inside

Once one popped, the others couldn't stop!

Or might people object to the word popped????

EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 11:44

ooh i like that nutty

OP posts:
Pesha · 12/04/2007 11:45

Oh god do they?! Well then someone best come and take my kids away or this baby is never gonna come out!!

Pesha · 12/04/2007 11:45

And dp

Pesha · 12/04/2007 11:45

And the dog

Pesha · 12/04/2007 11:46

Actually if someone could just take me away I think that would be easier

EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 11:46

pmsl Pesha

it's something to do with them sensing changes in your hormones/adrenaline or something, and thinking, maybe i'll wait here where it's nice until it calms down out there

OP posts:
EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 11:47

bloody hell, that's the fastest rate of posts from you ever

OP posts:
eca · 12/04/2007 11:49

lol pesha. I'm feeling welll stressed today, so no potential action for me then

nutty's sounds a good option. Scratch and sniff sounds like trouble!!

EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 11:51

suggestion from Dippy based on nutty's offering -

Due in April 2007 - popping like pringles!

OP posts:
Pesha · 12/04/2007 11:52

I know Ellie whats going on

This has now been really slow though cos hospital just rang with appointment for next week. And cos i cant think of anything clever or witty or even just silly to say about how im ever gonna get this baby out!

geordiemacminx · 12/04/2007 11:52

morning ladies!!!

Congrats on all the babies - very

Thread suggestion - the april ladies - once one popped the others just couldnt stop??

Quickie - anyone heard anything about reflexology to bring on labour? I know I'm only 38 weeks - but thats classed as term right? And I really am huge.... and if it worked it would be £30 well spent.. just worried that it might make things go wrong?

EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 11:54

it is supposed to bring it on gmm, and providing you get someone qualified/fully trained in pg reflexology it won't do any harm, they know what to avoid x

Due in April 2007 - popping like pringles (except for Eddas!)

or should we leave the poor girl alone now

OP posts:
eca · 12/04/2007 11:57

hi gmm- i have a friend who's a reflexologist and she has said if i go overdue she can do me a session. However, she wouldn't consider doing it until i was 40wks. She also mentioned that some things she wouldn't do unless I was at the hospital incase it brought on labour that fast. She's also a qualified mw and I think it's best to get a reflexologist that has some training in pregnancy reflexology rather than just general IYSWIM. Yours may have different policies about treating you earlier?

eca · 12/04/2007 11:58

ah, poor eddas - hasn't she been through enough today?

Lusciousladylush · 12/04/2007 12:00

I cant see how anyone would be offended at any reference to scratch and sniff and all those rhyming things similar. I bought some kids shampoo from superdrug the other day - it comes in lots of different flavours - and the slogan is.

#stoke me and sniff my fruity whiff!# Gods honest truth!

Now if they can get away with it!!!

(popping like pringles is a good one though!)

EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 12:00

ok, maybe not the eddas bit!

you can have reflexology anytime after 3mths, just has to be tailored to your stage, so they would be likely to avoid things that might bring on labour until later gmm

and thanks, you just reminded me that i have a reflexologist and 2 sessions paid for! i've just left a message for her!

OP posts:
EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 12:01

that is on a kiddies product LLL

and no way am i using it!

so are we all ok with 'popping like pringles'?

OP posts:
nuttygirl · 12/04/2007 12:03

Popping like pringles sounds good.

LLL - at that slogan.

Think i'm gonna try to get a bit of a nap. Be back on later!!!

Lusciousladylush · 12/04/2007 12:04

am very ladies at all your pampering sessions! I am completely house bound currently (no wonder they call it confinement) and can't even get bump behind wheel of car and reach the pedals....

if hadn't been given lots of nice smelley clarins stuff when I left work (all stretch mark related - what are they trying to say??!!!!) then would be feeling quite left out!

eca · 12/04/2007 12:04

popping like pringles sounds fab
